Too short. Seems like a nice shoe, but I must return it. I always order a half size longer for New Balance shoes, but for this model, a full size longer will be required.

I have small fiber neuropathy with weak ankles and a drop foot, so finding shoes that are comfortable but not too frumpy is a big problem. These are so well padded. It's like walking on air. And I've had no problems with my ankles. They're a nice shade of grey. I usually wear a 9.5M, and the 9.5M in these fits fine, even with my orthotics in place.

I am in my 70's - a former runner and cyclist. For the past couple of years I've been walking an average of 25 miles per week as my main source of exercise and have been wearing New Balance and Asics runnning shoes which work ok. However, thanks to Zappos wide selection of athletic shoes and the numerous comprehensive reviews, I was able to narrow down the choices and ordered these NB, Saucony Omni Walker and Ryka Dash 2. So far I have only worn this NB pair. The color - Silver with Powder Blue Trim and shoelaces, are very attractive (blue is my favorite color). They're stylish, very comfortable and today I wore them for the first time and completed a 5 mile walk. The 8W with a wide toe box accommodate my short wide feet. The insole is removable, so, in the future, if necessary, I can exchange for super feet insoles or orthotics. So far I am very pleased.

Finally! New Balance has given us a shoe that is truly "foot-shaped". ( Haven't had one so good since the 473 slip-on---and I wish they'd bring that one back!!!) People with wide feet have remarked on the toe-room; well that goes for those of us with narrow feet as well. I wear an AA in a long length, and this shoe stays snug around my heel without pinching my toes. Please keep this one in the lineup, NB, and add a slip-on if you can. It is lightweight, well-padded, and can take an orthotic if you need one. The calm color-combination is nice too. As with most NB shoes, you may want to order a half-size up.

The shoe is comfortable enough for walking except that the back of the heel is so high that with most of my socks it rubs against the back of my foot. Very annoying.

First time getting a shoe for my new orthotics. They fit perfectly - the shoe and the orthotics. Very comfortable. Love the color. Nicely rounded toe box. I wear 11EE.

Really put these to the test on vacation; 3 days on my feet and walking without any discomfort or fatigue. Nice neutral color goes with any outfit.

I love this shoe. I am writing this review after wearing these shoes more than a year. So you can see, these are tried and true! I buy a half size larger than other shoe brands and they feel terrific. I have always had trouble with my feet. I started buying the New Balance brand about 2013 when I had my first foot surgery. Now New Balance is my go to shoe for everyday support. I wear other shoes, but after several days of not wearing these, I grab for the New Balance and it is like putting on an old friend. Comfortable, all day long support.

I have severe bunions and have a hard time finding shoes with wide toe boxes. I resigned myself to buying larger shoes, but I would trip when I walked because they were so big. So a big thanks to past reviewers who noted that these sneakers accommodated their bunions. So true! They are comfortable and stylish. Love them so far.

These are very comfortable walking shoes. It is the first time I purchased them. I bought them to replace the 928W which I have worn for years. I like these because they fit my custom orthotics perfectly. They are comfortable. My feet/hips/knees don't hurt when I walk. I like the mesh for the hot weather, while the suede makes sure that they hold their shape. Also I think they look nice as a casual walking shoe. I wear a 9.5 double wide with a very large custom orthotic so I have a hard time finding any shoes that fit. These were a great surprise and I bought a second pair right away.

I originally ordered this sneaker in 9.5 wide but it was too short. I replaced it with a 10 wide and it feels wonderful. The Zappos team was so wonderful walking me through this return. I can’t say enough about Zappos. I might be paying a little more but the convenience of delivery and returns and NO CHARGE means more to me.

I've been wearing the New Balance 990 for years and was looking for something a little less structured with a nice tall and roomy toe bed. Love that these come in a narrow width. Not quite as supportive as my 990s, but a good shoe for running errands/light activity. Plenty of room for custom orthotic, doesn't bother my hammertoe.

The WW is really wide, but the width is comfortable. Something about the liner is VERY uncomfortable, I think I will have to replace them with something else. It feels like ridges that become more uncomfortable the longer I wear the shoe.

There is plenty of toe room for my wide (EE) feet. I could use a little more arch support but overall they are comfortable. These slipped on my heels until I learned the lacing trick with the last eyelet. That took care of the problem.

The shoes are really cute, the blue is fun and the design is cute. Unfortunately, these seem to be made for people with completely flat feet or for people using inserts of their own. I don’t love inserts because of shifting, so these will have to go back. I have a high arch, so even medium support would do, but there is literally none.

I’ve been trying to find a shoe that has all of my needs - wide toe box, good arch support, and doesn’t look like my grandmother’s orthopedic shoes… even though I’m now the same age as she was while wearing those ugly things. These check off all the boxes! I love them!

A great walking and low impact gym shoe. It has a super-roomy toe box & the sole design provides excellent stability. Nice appearance too.

The New Balance WW877 is very well made and very well cushioned. The arch support is good enough that I would not have had to insert my orthotics. I returned these shoes because the shape of my feet did not correspond to the shape of the shoes.

I am wearing them around the house to break them in. They are good-looking & comfortable. The sole & the shoe are sturdy & feel like they'll be good support as a walking shoe. I always buy New Balance with the higher numbers (800-900's) because I know they'll fit.

These are really cute and comfortable and don't look as clunky as a good walking shoe, yet acts like one. Exceptionally roomy toe box is awesome for someone with wide feet; I could order a half size smaller because the wide gave me all the room I needed. Not a great arch, but seems adequate, even for someone with a high arch like me. Really pretty soft pastel color.Love them! Will buy another pair in case they get discontinued.

Very comfortable. Pretty colors. They look a little overly rounded at the toe, but the toe box has plenty of space for a person with toe problems. These shoes are very comfortable. I can wear them all day!

I specifically bought a size 6.5 2E so that I could wear shoes with thicker alpaca wool socks. These shoes fit great, with room in the toe box for my wide front feet (one with a bunion). Like many small people, I have bony feet that are not well-padded. And I have very small heels. The heels on these shoes are a bit loose, even with wool socks, but shoes are still very comfy and padded for clopping about town, going grocery shopping, etc. The shoes are neutral looking, and goes with most of my casual outfits.

Perfect sneakers! Finally! This is my first pair of New Balance sneakers and I think that I will only buy New Balance sneakers from now on. Super comfortable out of the box and so pretty and so incredibly comfortable. I feel like I want to buy them in 1 million colors. Thank you, Zappos.

I love, love, love these shoes! Although they had great potential that did prove out over time, they were not great right out of the box. I ordered a half size up, and they were softer, longer, wider, deeper and roomier than what my poor, achy feet were used to. After inserting my Power Step MAXX insoles, I loosely re-laced the shoes to skip over the eyelets near the boney prominence on the tops of my feet, I followed the recommendation of another reviewer to lace through the top eyelets to reduce heel slippage, I switched to thicker socks, and the most important factor, I gave my feet about a week or so to settle in and adapt to their new environment. I am so happy - no more tired, achy feet!
