I have had issues with my feet for years. Under the care of a podiatrist and use prescription orthotics. This shoe is the only shoe I want to wear now in the line of a walking shoe. Please LLBean never shop carrying this shoe!!

These are really comfortable because the toe case is actually the appropriate width for EE and they are still nice looking...

I have some back problems which are exacerbated by heel height. I wish all shoe descriptions would include heel to toe drop. The womens' 877 seem to have a less severe toe drop than most. I wore them yesterday for the first time and wore them all day. My back didn't bother me. I cannot wear a shoe which puts more of a curvature in my back. I have a rather boxy foot and the square toe box accommodates my foot perfectly. When I first got them, I compared the ones I had been wearing and my old ones were about a half inch longer but were never that comfortable. I didn't think these would fit until I tried them on. I would have liked the tongue to be slightly longer. I hope New Balance doesn't stop making this shoe!!!!!!!!!!

I love these sneakers! My 86 year old mother saw them on my feet and fell in love and asked me for a pair too. Came to the site just now to order a pair for her. Neither one of us like the gaudy sneakers that are in style today, so these fit the bill of being comfortable to walk in, just a bit of color to be cute, no harsh neon colors, and best of all NEW BALANCE!

I live in NB but they vary in quality and sometimes are not as supportive and comfortable as they used to be. These are perfect in every way: very comfy and supportive plus I like the pale grey/blue combo. With AA feet it isn't easy to find cute sneakers.

After searching shoes appropriate for my mom who's been suffering from plantar fasciitis, I decided to buy these shoes for her. Since I bought these for her, she has had no complaints and enjoys them alot. The delivery exceeded my expectations and came quicker than I anticipated. If you had similar issues as I did after buying Air Maxes, Asics, and Mizuno these New Balances are her favorite. If you are looking for shoes for women who are seniors or suffer from similar health related issues, then look no further. @LL Bean, have you thought about bringing other NB models like 995's, 998's, 1500's, if so you should make it happen so I could spend more money with you lol. I like the fit and style of these shoos. They are great all around.

I have always liked the brand new balance for me it's been a tennis shoe that always fits good for my feet. The shoes that I ordered are very comfortable I can wear them all day without getting tired and I really like the style and the color.

Fit great, very comfortable. Received right away. Love the color, true to the picture posted on the website. Had to exchange for a smaller size and they were very accommodating. Depending on the shoe I can run 1/2 size smaller.

I have purchased cheap gym shoes thinking that there was no real difference. Finally it caught up with me. Foot problems resulted in me really changing my thoughts about shoe construction and comfort. I moment I put my new balance shoes on I knew there was a big difference!

size 8 1/2, narrow, fit is perfect, cushion is great, comfortable for asphalt walking 3 to 4 miles per day, nice colors too

I love my new walking shoes. Very comfortable and a great fit. I had to return the first pair I ordered because they were too small. So I returned them and ordered a larger size. The return was very easy and they refunded my money promptly. I am definitely ordering my next pair from New Balance!

I ordered a half size up which worked out well. I usually wear size 7 and these are 7 1/2. Have worn them daily for my 1-2 hour walk. Comfortable and the soles are wearing well. I'd buy another pair when these get worn out.

I usually wear an 81/2 but advised to go up a 1/2 size. Great fit, very comfortable. Good support. Very happy with New Balance walking shoe!

I wear these walking the dog every day in the warmer months. I've tried other new balance styles in the same size but these just seem to work best for me. I have one med width foot and one wide width foot and I have no problem with discomfort or wiggle room wearing this sneaker. Plus there are no problems with fit wearing a compression sock and a regular sock either. I actually get a new pair every spring.
