I had not owned a pair of Birkensticks in years. After a recent trip to NYC where I mangled my feet by walking everywhere I decided to give Birkensticks another try. The sands felt comfortable right of the box and I immediately was able to walk for miles! I unitially felt mixed about the look, but have received many compliments and questions. I wanted the ankle strap and am so glad I got this style. I love how the shoes feel, my feet are doing great, and I am becoming increasingly find of the look. I highly recommend this sandal!

Purchased these as a gift for my teenaged daughter. She loves them. They will need to be broken in and molded to her foot-- she said that the arch support is great, but that they feel a little snug. She is wearing them with socks, forming them to her feet. She can wear these to school since they have a back strap. My previous pair of Birks lasted for years, and I am confident that these will hold up well over the years.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for 25 years, so it's challenging to leave a fair review. They are super comfortable and conform to your feet. I have started buying the soft footbed, and I love it. It's true that the leather is stiff, but it softens with wear. They last forever.

I need good arch support and these certainly provide it. These are my best walking shoes.

Terrific sandals! However, just had total knee replacement and until full recovery is estimated June 2017 have no need for them. I have two pair of these

Love Birkenstock!

The shoes are great! They came on time and are exactly what I ordered. The only problem I had was with the cleaning kit I purchased. The spray cleaner won't spray. Disappointing.

Love these Birkenstocks. Amazingly comfortable, easy on and off, great looks. The third pair of Birkenstocks I currently own.

I ordered these in a size 37 and they fit true to size (I'm a 61/2). The soles are really comfortable, and seeing that I've never had a very narrow foot the regular size was fine in terms of width. I also appreciated that the leather has a matte finish rather than a shiny one.

Best pair of shoes I have ever owned. The leather and footbed are so soft and comfortable from the first wear. It may be kind of cliche to say with Birkenstocks, but I don't want to take them off of my feet. I think the sizing is pretty much spot on. I purchased the same size as other brands of sandals that I own, and they fit perfectly. I was skeptical about the look of the heel-strap, but it looks great on. They go with just about anything and are perfect for that casual day. Worth every penny. You won't regret this purchase!

Soft Footbed is great. I took a chance because my size in the iron grey color was not in stock in the regular footbed at the time I ordered. But I love these shoes and wear them regularly on long walks around the city. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I recently purchased Birkenstock Milano-Leather Soft Footbed SKU #8291402. I am very pleased with them because they are comfortable. I have a bunion so it is difficult to find shoes that fit and don't hurt my feet. I am very satisfied with these sandals and hope to purchase another pair in a brown in the future.

Awesome! Love them! Fit great! Ordered them one day, arrived the next. Who could ask for more? Except maybe warmer weather.

All the straps were way too short

These have been great. I’ve had for two years now but haven’t held up as much as I’d hoped. Not sure how people make these last 10 years. Still, would by again. The heel really wore down. Don’t drag your feet!

Mislabeled! They are Not soft footbed

Leather a little hard. Will probably soften with use.

Nice sandals but leather too polished/shiny and not the correct color I was looking for

wonderfully constructed shoes. I was hoping these with back strap would work but the straps are not comfortable for my RA feet. I've had 3 reconstructive surgeries. Buying shoes is a challenge.
