Very pleased with the way the Milano sandal fits. Needed to try strap on back. I am very pleased. Have been wearing Birkenstock shoes & sandals for many years.

I’ve had a pair of the Arizona without the heel strap, but my dog chewed them up. Thought I’d try this style. These stay on much better, and my feet tend to be less fatigued. Love the look of the leather, tends to go with everything. Now if I could just do something about my funky toes....

I usually wear an 8/8.5- they run a bit big- so I was able to order a bit smaller size. I love the fit and feel

If I would have known how good they would be for my feet, I would have bought these years ago!!

Love these shoes, wear them summer, fall, winter, spring. With and without socks. Help a ton with my arches. Will buy again for sure!

I am a longtime fan of Birkenstocks, but now need to avoid backless shoes due to a foot injury. The Milano style is my new Birkenstock addition, and has served me well so far. The footbed is still the best for support and comfort.

If you have problems with your feet or back these are the shoes for you. Make sure you have the correct size. The help line on Zappos is very good and kind. Also they need to break in to really fit your feet. It took about 2 weeks for mine to really settle in. I did start wearing them ASAP everyday because they were so comfy. They last a very long time and even longer with a tiny bit of maintenance. Get the care kit. Your shoes will last and last.

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks, and I'm very pleased with them. The "soft footbed" is about the same softness as a standard shoe insole, with a good amount of support. It will take a little breaking in to get my feet used to the straps. Very high quality.

I was not sure on size. I wear an 8 and my feet are wide. I ordered the 38 and 39. I definitely need the 39 and I’m returning the 38. Thanks Zappos for your great service!!

I just wrote a review for Arizona Essentials. I forgot to mention...Zappos service was excellent!!!!!! Any way, Birkenstock Milano was the first pair I have purchased with a back strap. LOVE them. Where I work, it is a requirement to have a back strap. These are perfect. I think they may become my favorite work shoe. In fact, my spouse wants a pair.

Bought these for my husband, and to tell the truth this was the 5th pair of Birkenstocks he tried before finding ones that fit just right. He tried the Arizona style in both regular and narrow widths, and felt like they were always going to fall off no matter how tight the straps were. Finally, decided to try the Milano since they have a heel strap, and BINGO.... best fit! Now he can enjoy the comfort of loose fitting Birks without the fear of them falling off his feet. The color is nice, and almost dressy if Birks can be such a thing.

My second pair of this style, very comfortable and more secure feeling than the Arizona. The leather at the ankle bone needs to be broken in a bit but its not significantly uncomfortable. This pair is definitely narrower than my prior birks. Don’t know what’s going on at Birkenstock but they all seem to be running a but narrower than they used to. The heel strap does need to be opened to put them on, you won’t be just stepping into them.

I love these sandals! I have been wanting them for a few years, and finally went for them. I am a proud owner. So far, they feel a little stiff, but based off everybody’s reviews and recommendations, I’m confident they be heavenly, once I break them in.

I have lots of foot issues and this style of Birkenstock was comfortable and fit well. I normally wear a wide shoe but the regular size was a good fit. The first pair I ordered did not have an ankle strap and although I tried to wear the first pair for a few hours and had foot pain, Zappo's customer service was amazing. They allowed me to exchange the shoes without any difficulty. I received the second pair of shoes within two days. I will always order from Zappo's in the future!

I have been wearing Birkenstock's Milano for many years because of their comfort and the fact it has a heel strap. I have several pairs and wear them, changing out daily, every day during summer and much of winter. They are comfortable as soon as I receive and put on. Of course, Zappos always delivers as promised, great service. Perfect combination - perfect shoe, perfect service.

These will be my save for good occasions Birks. I live in my Birkenstocks!

I love birkenstocks and own quite a few. I needed a pair with a strap and wanted something besides Chacos where I feel my feet and toes are restricted. The leather is beautiful. I always go with a soft footbed option if possible. Sizing with Birks is different (I'm a size smaller).

Great shoe if it had fit.Was too wide even with adjusting the buckles as much as possible. My foot kept sliding around.

Always good quality.

Comfy enough to wear all day walking around or working. Love that they don't fall off my feet. No break in time!

The quality can't be duplicated. The sandal is so comfortable, and it is a moderate style, which should be acceptable to almost anyone.
