I received this as a Christmas gift and I just love it. The support is great and no slipping in any yoga pose, even if my hands sweat.

I started yoga a year ago and the mat I had was starting to fall apart...I began researching mats and chose this one!! It is wonderful on my knees, I no longer hurt when in a pose on my knees, I don't slide on this mat, and it's eco friendly Oh and it reminds me of the ocean when I'm on it!!!

I am an avid yogi, practicing 4-5 times a week, and so far I have been very happy with this mat! The main downside is the weight of the mat, but I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend it! I will have this mat for many years to come so the heavy duty nature of the mat doesn't bother me. Plus, I love the colors!

I bought this mat a month ago and am loving using it so far! A good weight, easy to get to and from studio, but still thick enough to provide great support. Love the color! Was a bit smelly, as other reviewers state - but that wore off after a few days of use! Highly recommend.

Practice just got a lot better. Loving the grip on this mat. It does have a pretty strong odor but I aired it out outside for a couple of days and gave it a good wash with Manduka's mat wash and it was good to go.

I've used several mats here and there, but since I'm getting more serious about my yoga practice, I decided to invest in a better mat. I am so happy with my eKO 5mm mat! My hands tend to sweat, and it seems that the more I use this mat, the less I slip. It makes me feel very solid. The mat is a little bit heavy, but I don't mind that because when I lay it out, I know it isn't going anywhere. Very happy and looking forward to using this mat for a long, long time.

I love this mat for doing hot yoga since it provides perfect grip with no slip due to natural rubber surface. The mat design pattern is beautiful like I'm doing yoga on the ocean! The thickness is perfect cushion so my knees don't hurt. And the surface is closed cell rubber so it's easy to clean. I did a lot of mat research and tested other mats. This was my favorite!

I really do love it. It is exactly what I need and the fact that it is eco friendly is a big fat plus! It is heavier than all my other mats before but I'm ok with that because of the quality and the natural materials. It's simple and elegant and perfect. Haven't used it outside yet because it has been cold.

After much research and in-depth conversations with yoga teachers & fellow yogis regarding the best yoga mats, I decided to buy this eKo mat. I've been practicing daily on it for about a month now, and absolutely love it. There is a bit of a rubber smell that has been fading since its first use, but the smell isn't very intense and does not bother me at all. I like the cushion of the 5mm, the color and texture is quite perfect. This mat has great grip, even with my sweaty hands and feet - exactly what I was looking for. I use this mat for my Yin, Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Hatha practice. I love that this mat is earth friendly & biodegradable - this was an important factor in my decision to buy this mat, too. Overall, love this mat and would highly recommend to any yogi.

I love my new eKO mat. The grip is fantastic. I previously used a Pro lite. It was a bit slippery but the eKO has a great grip, No Slipping, it does smell a bit like rubber but it's no a very slight small. It's my perfect Matt I love it.

I bought this mat a few weeks ago. It is a lot heavier than my previous mat and more bulky but I love it. I did vinyasa and had great grip. I'm so happy I have finally upgraded.

I bought this for my husband who's old mat had him slipping and feeling unsteady during yoga class. Since he has been using his new mat (eKo yoga mat) he feels secure and love the feel of this mat. Wonderful product and another plus no oder from the mat.

I've had this mat for about a month now, and I'm so glad I got it. I use it for hot yoga, and I wanted a mat that made me feel secure and comfortable. This mat does exactly that. The grip is excellent (even for me, a slip-n-slider), the cushioning is so nice, and it cleans up easily. One note- it's more of a teal color than in the product photo. Still a lovely color, but definitely more of a deep water green than a "sage" as advertised.

There is a smell to the mat when you first get it. The first two practices, the smell was strong but now I dont even notice it anymore. I definitely recommend getting Manduka's natural rubber mat spray. I bought this mat for the slip-free features. I definitely dont slip in regular practices, but my hands do slip a bit when I start getting a bit sweaty. Overall, recommend.

I don't have to use a towel under my sensitive knees anymore! 20 years on a cheap mat and I finally treated myself to quality. I should have bought myself one a loooooong time ago. Love love love.

I was already outside jumping for joy when the delivery man came! I immediately rolled out my mat and teared up a bit because I was so thrilled to FINALLY have a new mat. I loudly proclaimed "I am ready to teach!" This mat brought some serious magic because a few hours later, I was offered the lead teaching position at a gorgeous resort< 3 :*) I had to soak my mat a few times to get the smell out, it's still a bit smelly, but I know it will fade :) INCREDIBLE grip! I used to slip a lot on my old mat (I won't name brand names) and it challenged me a lot. But this mat makes my practice strong and secure. Sincerely grateful to you Manduka, thank you for making such excellent gear. < 3

I'm quite happy with my choice, although I wish I bought the longer one instead of normal size, just to increase comfort. It doesn't slip (although I'm not sweaty in my practice). And the plastic smell decreased considerably, now that it's been sitting open for 2+ weeks.

This mat looks like the ocean. It has magnificent grip to hold poses. The only comment I have is that once you place feet grip is so sturdy that it takes maneuvering to move foot. Overall one of my favorite mats for practice! Receive many compliments on it.

As an incredibly environmentally conscious consumer, looking into buying a new yoga mat that respects the environment was important to me. Not only does this mat check all those boxes, but from the first time I practiced with it I was hooked. It has a really amazing texture and it's super grippy. It also has a lot of cushioning without being really thick which is an amazing feat in and of itself. This mat is amazing and I'm so happy with my decision!

This mat is really great. I bought it two weeks ago and I love it. The colour is beautiful, on The down side it is light grey colour with is much better than the white like it looks on photos :). The mat has perfect grip, I do not slide on it :) Sad is that when I open mat there was three scratch on the mat :/ But nevermind, it is still great yogamat! :)

I bought this mat about 2 months ago. IT is so comfortable and the thickness is great. I take hot yoga with weights and I this mat is stable with no slippage. I love it.

I've had a few mats and this by far is the best one yet !! This mat seems to have the best grip (have tried Jade and lululemon) and I'm really digging the color!
