I purchased this mat about a month ago and I am impressed! I was researching all of the top end yoga mats and decided on this one even though the price was a bit more. The mat is not slippery at all, has great support yet it has needed cushion for knee pain. I would recommend this mat to anyone!

Using the mat for a bit of yoga practice and exercises at home and at the yoga class. I'm positively amazed by its grip! Beautiful colour, too. Slight rubber smell but I'm sure this will lessen over time.

I'm excited to see where my new Manduka and I will go. What adventures await my "magic carpet". Namaste all...

I am so pleased with this mat. I had been wanting a higher quality and eco-friendly mat for quite some time but always thought I couldn't afford it. I splurged on this one but it was so worth it. The thickness is incredible for knee pain and boney ankles. I also feel that I can focus so much more on my body, breath and mindfulness because I am not worried about the toxic chemicals I might be exposed to. It is quite heavy but its worth it to me.

I bought this mat 4 months ago and I am very happy with it: 1. The rubber structure ensures a stable protection for the joints. 2. The surface of the mat provides a good grip without slipping. 3. The colors are so calm and peaceful, resembling the scenes from "The Blue Lagoon" movie. It is a great mat for home practice, as it is a little bit too heavy to carry around (3,5 kg). So, I bought for the studio and for the outdoor practice the second mat - the 4 mm version of eKO Yoga Mat which is lighter (2 kg).

So glad I bought this mat! Before I would side all over during my hot yoga practice. This mat has a great grip (still a little slip sometimes but it works great with the manduka towel) The smell is rough but it starts to fade eventually

My new mat is perfect. I practice in a very hot country and I sweat a lot. With my old mat I used to slipped a lot. Now my hands and feet don't move anymore. I recommand it very much.

It's great. no cons. rolls easily, doesnt come undone or have any kinks in it. and i love the sustainable sourcing. 10/10.

This is a great mat for not only yoga but any type of workout or cool down that you may be thinking of trying. I use it for pilates, interval training, yoga and am excited to use it for any new workouts that come along. Love the mats texture and the padding. Plus the colors are a vibrant and cool.

Such a beautiful mat, looks hand painted really and makes me feel like I'm on the ocean!! It has made my practice 10x better. Although not super lightweight, it is not THAT heavy as some reviews say. I carried it easily to and from class. Also, smell is not noticeable as some reviews say, it goes away within one day. super nonslip and sturdy, overall perfect mat that I will keep for years!!

This mat is a bit on the heavier side, be sure to check the weight amount if that is a concern for you. It was worth it to me to buy a natural, strong mat. The grip is excellent even when I sweat so I feel safe and free to do whatever pretzel I can get myself into. This is a great quality mat and I highly recommend.

After the old eko really had it's best time, this was a treat to myself. Manduka added the perfect 'it's time.. new mat' letter with it. Love it and it will add so much to my practice :)

The eKO mats are wonderful. They provide great grip and are comfortable to practice on.

This is a fabulous yoga mat! Sticky enough without feeling like plastic. The natural material feels different than the polyester mats - better in a good way. The 5mm thickness is the thinnest I go. Only down side is the mat is a little heavier than the plastic versions, but this is no big deal because of how much better it feels and not contributing the plastic world. I bought my husband the blue-ish version and he LOVES it. He said it is the best yoga mat he has ever had - including a pricier one he borrowed from a friend years ago. It has a slight odor at first, but this is just the natural rubber smell.

I moved up to the eKO Mat after renting one from the yoga studio. If I do hot yoga and sweat a lot, I still need a towel. The padding feels good on my joints. The rubber odor is minimal.

Bought for my wife to replace old yoga/pilates mat and she absolutely loves the quality, eco friendly materials, and the fact that it stays on the floor and doesn't lose grip like some other mats do. We were so satisfied that we bought 2 additional (though 4mm eKO mats) for our daughters. Have and will continue to recommend Manduka mats.

I just bought my third eKO mat because I love them so much. I purchased my first eKO five years ago and that mat is still going strong. But I love them so much I want them in all the colors. I use the eKO light for traveling and loaning to visiting friends. I use the eKO 5mm for teaching and practice. This is also the mat I purchase as gifts for family and friends. Amazing grip, perfect padding, durable, and just plain pretty. I highly recommend this mat!

After borrowing the studios mats for two months, I decided to buy my own. The surface of this mat is excellent for hot yoga because it isn't as slippery as the Pro mat. Plus, the 5mm is quite thick; I barely feel the floor underneath.

Purchased this as a gift. It was greatly appreciated.
