These particular styles of shoe are not what they appear to be online. The quality of leather is not matching the pic. You may be disappointed when they arrive.

I bought two pairs of shoes - both 15 D/Medium. The Florsheim fit fine. The Rockport - not a chance. Not getting that on my foot. Just looking at the shoe you could tell the difference between the two brands - the Rockport was much narrower and slightly shorter than the other. Even with a boatload of butter and a shoe horn, the Rockport was not going on the foot. Returning the Rockport for a fjull refund. Box marked 15M, as is the shoe. Somebody made a mistake.

Too short. I've purchased this same shoe several times, with no problems. This pair is noticeably shorter.

My Dad always wore Rockports, and I wanted a pair to see how comfortable they were. I have some brown penny loafers, so ordered the black but haven't had a good experience with them. They seemed really wide at the opening, especially the left shoe. It causes my foot to slide, creating an abnormal rubbing on the inside of the back heal. I have not found the shoe to form to my foot at all, just the opposite. I have narrow feet, and bought the M stylenothing seems to help.

These are not the classics you think they are. They have a different, semi-matte (truly, its hard to describe) finish and they have a weird rubber-ette sole. The greatest thing is that the rubber soles squeak making you sound like an idiot while you walk around in the shoes. Squeaky shoes, what my wife calls birth control shoes. You would think the experts at Rockport (the people who house and feed their families by making and selling shoes) would come up with a way to address this. Beware of these and only buy them if you want a weird finish and to noisily let people in your office know when you are walking around.

Rockport quality has diminished tremendously from what it once was. I have worn Rockport penny loafers for 20 years and these loafers are not high quality. The size runs small. I returned these shoes for a refund.

Very attracted style but very disappointed in the sizing. I first ordered a size 8 W but that was very tight on the foot so it was returned. I then ordered an 8.5 W and then again
I could hardly squeeze my foot into the shoe and that order is being returned.
Shoes ordered in the past in the W size were a good fit.
Sizing on this shoe is not correct.

I purchased this shoe with the hopes that it would measure in quality to past purchases. I was completely wrong, the material looks to be plastic. Just an outright poor excuse for such a name brand.

The shoes look great and fit great, but they squeak when I walk on any smooth surface such as vinyl or wood. Unless you only walk on carpet, I do not recommend this style of shoes.

While the quality of these shoes seems superior, they sure do run small, like the other three pairs of shoes I bought, all in different styles. I returned them in hopes of getting a more suitable size, but you have to return them first and now they don't have anything in my size. Huge disappointment. I have been a 10R for many years, my feet have not changed. Felt like I was wearing a 9 narrow or something.

I tried ordering this shoe in cognac three different times and received dark tan each time, although the order information displayed "cognac" as the selected color. This was never resolved, and I finally gave up on getting the shoes I ordered.

Even though this is a great looking shoe, Rockport has elected to ignore negative reviews regarding the gap in the heel of the shoe once it is put on. Once the shoe is on there is a gap between your ankle and the shoe. It appears that instead of designing the back of the shoe to be curved (conform to round ankle like the letter "U") it is designed more sharply in the shape of a "V". This has been reported numerous other times, but Rockport is not corrected the design.
