Very frustrated with this Rockport loafer. I own 8 other pairs of Rockports (seriously) and none of them have given me the fit issues that these Classic Loafer Lite Pennys have caused. My normal size is an 8.5 medium width. When I ordered this size in this loafer, the length was fine but the shoe was REALLY tight in width. I could just barely squeeze my foot into the shoe and it caused my socks to bunch up on the top of my foot where the tongue is. I've never worn a wide shoe, but thought it was worth a try, so I exchanged for an 8.5 WIDE. These felt great when I slipped my foot into the shoe, but they were too loose when walking--my heel was popping out of the shoe. I've given up on these. I like the Rockport brand in general, but I am now angry -- they apparently do not use the same size last when constructing all the various shoes they sell. I'm sure this is a factor of where the shoe is made. I'll keep searching for a similar shoe. (I tried several of the Nunn Bush loafers, and while the fit was much better, the leather looked like plastic and sort of 'cracked' and wrinkled when worn)

DEfinitely NOT dark brown it is more of a light caramel color

The shoes are cheap looking and look it. They fit the same way cheaply! Stiff and cheap looking! Returned right after opening the box!

I am in the leather business. and this is not leather; it's called leatherette, a man made artificial leather. the shoes tight, the look was not satisfactory looks a lot like synthetic material. I don't recommend these shoes or brand

Brand new these looked great and they are very comfortable. However after wearing them less than a dozen times to work, the finish on all the typical wear points along the toes and heels has worn off completely. It appears the finish has been sprayed on these shoes and is easily rubbed off, leaving behind a reddish, pink colored finish. I expected much better quality from Rockport.

I’ve been buying size 10 Rockport shoes for 20 years and this is the first time the I have found one of their shoes unusable. The size (length) is fine and the width is fine but the height of the shoe is way too small. I can barely fit my foot into the shoe. Very disappointed in these shoes.

I do like these shoes but couldn't give a perfect review. I am a size 13 in every shoe I buy (sometimes 14) and I purchased these and took them to a conference fresh in the box so had to wear them the whole week. Right when I put them on it was as though I bought a 14-14 1/2. They flop off of my feet and give me the feeling of wearing slippers. Since I had to wear them the whole weekend I couldn't return them but am upset that I couldn't since they are great shoes but about a size and a half bigger than expected.

I did not like the fit of the shoe as soon as I put them on. Too tight in the width.

Too small for me, and the soles are too slippery; would probably be okay on some carpets, but too slick on most floors.
