It was too tight for my size. I'm returning it for a half size bigger.

I love these shoes, and have been buying them for years from Zappos. The price has fallen from about $100 a pair to about $76 a pair. I'm not complaining about that. But... Quality has declined over the years. The colors are not as consistent as they used to be. I have had to return pairs because the color was different (and not better) for exactly the same shoes, color description and price. There are two browns at slightly different prices, but even those are not consistent. And furthermore, a pair I bough this summer fell apart after just two months of very light use -- the sole came almost completely off. I returned it (not sure if I'll get a refund but it was useless anyway). I wish they could go back to the days when they cost more, the shoes were better made, and completely consistent. I get the impression these shoes are now made by several different low cost vendors with uneven levels of ability.

Good looking shoe but is too large both length and width. The poly soles should wear well but are VERY slippery on carpet and would be a hospital bill waiting to happen on snow.

A little longer than expected, the heel flops when walking. Tight around ball of foot. Shock absorber on heel is fine but not so much on ball of foot. I wore it with a thick sock and it hurt to wear. Switched to dress sock and after a while was okay but at times floppier than a shoe. I wear it when I don’t have to walk or stand much. Somewhat disappointed and cannot return because I wore it outside by mistake. Buyer beware.

Overall a good looking shoe and nice leather, however I had to return due to scuffs on the tops and heels, and creases in the top vamps. If I didn’t know better I would have thought they had been worn a bit. The soles showed no signs of wear.

Fit was ok - heel slips a bit and the toe area is a bit tight. I like the shoe otherwise, it's a comfortable every day work shoe and a good price and it looks great.

Just got these and really cant comment on them since they were too large for me..I ordered my usual size 11.5 wide since I wear an orthotic but my heels came right out of these shoes when I walk! Weird.. Others have varying opinions but I can definitely say that one should try 1/2 size smaller and be advised that a "wide" is indeed a wide..I am not sure now whether its just the length thats a problem..or the fact that the show runs wide and I dont need a wide in this shoe..I am believing that my heels come out because of the length..so we will see..ugh

liked the shoe, but it felt too tight across the front and made my feet look a lot narrower than they really are.

Thought the widest available size (EE) would be good enough for me. They're too snug. I normally wear a EEE. Also the color (dark brown) was unlike the pictures. The pictures of the dark brown look more like a mahogany whereas the actual shoe was a true (boring) brown.

These shoes are not dark brown. If you order dark brown (I have twice), you'll get a medium brown shoe. It fits well enough, and looks decent so I kept them.

14 mediums. My foot was swimming in them. They were huge. Tried the 13's couldn't even get my foot in the shoe. The 14's may have been an anomaly but I am leery of trying Rockport again.

I was sent a size 11 instead of 6.5, however they felt like they would have been wonderfully comfy shoes.

The shoe is VERY narrow towards the front. If your feet are even on the cusp of being wide, do not buy these. They are incredibly uncomfortable.

Leather is so cheap looking that at first I doubted it is leather. It has none of the natural variegation of burnished leather suggested by the photo, but rather has the uniform appearance of vinyl.
