I ordered a size 7 which I typically am. I found that my foot was pushed forward and my toes hung over a bit. returned.

I really wanted to like these, but they just didn’t fit correctly. They were tight across the widest part of my foot and loose in the heel. They’re probably great for a narrower foot.

These sandals are very comfortable, but I cannot get past the amount of velcro that shoes at the ankle after they are fastened. I have a wide forefoot, so I always order a wide shoe. Oddly enough, there is no velcro showing across my toes when the sandal is fastened, but there is at least an inch at the ankle. I never thought that I had particularly fat ankles, but I guess I do.

The fit, size, and appearance are all good on this sandal. The issue is the woven straps that cross over the top of the foot in 3 places, and their uneven surface. I have a concern that this will chafe after awhile, and do not want to take the chance. Disappointing and I will return them.

I was hopeful, but this shoe did not work for my extra wide feet. Almost, though. If your feet are just wide, they might work. I have a high instep, and the velcro straps accommodated that. It's a very cute style for a comfort sandal. So disappointed to have to return. Thank you Zappos for making it possible for me to give this brand a try.

Could not get a good fit in these with my usual size 8 and going a half size up or down would not work either which was quite frustrating. I loved the color and style which is quite versatile. Even though I thought they were priced too high, I would have kept them if I could have found a good fit.

They are true to size and loved the style, however, the braided part rubbed on the top of my toes so I had to return them. Disappointed.

The shoe looks great but the straps feel scratchy. It also doesn't bend all that well. For the high price I'd go elsewhere. Not worth the money.

Really sorry to send them back. Cute style and fit but they were not comfortable. The jute part was not lined and was scratchy. Wish I had listened to the other review about the scratchiness.

Really cute. And easy to put on and off. But felt too narrow for me so I had to return.

Loved the look of the shoe. It was much narrower and tighter than the size and width I chose.

WOW are these sandals comfortable! Tons of arch support, and a nice, snug adjustable fit. The cork footbed feels super supportive — they felt like they were made for my feet the minute I tried them on. They only problem is I think the braided strap just looks a bit too fussy and fusty on me. Maybe it reminds me of sandals I had when I was a kid? Anyway, the color is nice and neutral, but the braids, man. I just can’t get past it. So had to return them. Luckily I found another pair in this style with straight-up, plain leather straps, so I’m hoping those work out for me because I think my feet really want me to own these shoes!

I really liked the sandal overall. I was looking for casual but dressy enough to wear with a skirt or casual dress and supportive enough to be able to wear all day. These were all those things. They are more expensive than I usually choose but I was willing to spend more for an excellent product. I went up to a 41 after reading reviews. I wear a 9.5 and these are just a tad long but I would prefer that to too short. The back strap isn’t adjustable and doesn’t fit up next to my heel. There’s a gap, but since the other straps are adjustable it’s ok. I wore the sandals and on the second day the stitching up next to the toes started coming unstitched. (About an inch or more on the edge). I’m sending them back and debating about whether to reorder. If they came unstitched so early at this price I’m concerned about the longevity of the sandal.

I really wanted these sandals to work but the scratchy straps are a deal breaker. I wore them inside only briefly and had red marks all over my feet. It was easy to imagine how bad them would be with sweaty feet and normal slippage. For this price I was expecting the straps to have a soft backing. They're cute and I love the dark grey color but they're going back today.

Very comfortable sandal. I need arch support, and found I could walk in them all day. Three stars because I found the heel to be clunky, and they were not flattering.

Really wanted to like these! A little too short; my toe hangs off the edge. Back they go.

I have a love-hate relationship with these sandals. On the positive side, they are absolutely the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. Perhaps this is due to the fact that they are so adjustable. I also love the way they look and the wide choice of colors (I chose the navy, which is actually a little lighter than the name suggests - love it). BUT....when I took them off after the first wearing, I was dismayed to find that the toe piece and the ankle strap had turned the skin of my foot blue! I hoped that this might be due to the newness of the sandals and that it would stop with time. However, I've now worn them numerous times and the problem persists. Moreover, getting the blue marks off my foot isn't easy. Just a quick wipe with a tissue won't do it, and it seems to require a scrub with a damp cloth and a little soap. At the price point of these sandals, that shouldn't be necessary. They are so comfortable that I'd love to have the shoe in other colors, but I don't want to have to scrub my feet after each wearing!

I ordered the Rita style at the same time. There is a lack of consistency in sizing in this brand. While beautifully made and detailed, I couldn't get beyond feeling that even if I ordered the next size up, there would not be enough support for my pronating arches and that the back of the heel would only sit lower on my own heels making them feel less secure! Love the cork and leather lined footbed and the styling but these seem to run short with a strange heel "cup" for narrower heels (sat too low on mine). Zappos, don't know what I'd do without you though!

I was shocked to find how very scratchy and uncomfortable these shoes were. Taos is the BEST shoe brand for me. Not sure what they were thinking, but I can not recommend these to anyone.

Great arch support, good quality materials, etc. My only reservation is that it's clear that the velcro won't last long. (It's designed so that the strength of the velcro is the only thing that keeps the straps in place.) It's been a month and they've already started to become undone.

The woven straps were very abrasive. Even moleskin didn't help. But the foot bed was very comfortable. Wish I could've worn them...true to size and cute.

Looser overall fit than my other pairs of this style/size. Also straps are made with cheaper, scratchy leather.

Tried for a wide because one of my feet swells and it felt like it was a narrow! Velcro strip was showing by an inch on both straps! And that was on my regular foot!! Very disappointed.

Really pretty and quite uncomfortable.
