Great sandal, just too narrow.

Beautiful, comfortable sandal - just a little too short.

The fit and size are perfect for me; the footbed fits well, and the strap adjusts. I can't wear a lot of brands of shoes, and these are great. Happy with them; very comfy and attractive. Will get more colors.

Very comfortable sandal! Did not like the bronze/braid color.

I wear a 6 1/2 and had to order the 37 which fits perfectly so I would think that a size 7 might have to size up. I bought these in navy because I already own the same style in tan that I bought at the beginning of last summer and they worked for me as my go to shoe. I have a bunion and some bottom of the foot problems and these are still great to wear. After buying the navy pair and trying them I decided to get the blush. I will keep them but the blush is really more of a light beige. I still think these are great.

The footbed of the Trulie sandal is very comfortable and I liked the adjustability of the straps to my narrow foot. I originally ordered a 38 (my normal Birkenstock size), but decided I really needed a 39. After receiving the 39 and walking in them a little more, I realized the synthethic braided straps were not going to be comfortable long term. I decided to go with the Universe style instead. The Trulie is more fashionable, but the soft leather straps of the Universe are more comfortable. So far I am happy with my choice and definitely recommend Taos footwear.

Love the look of this sandal but my usual size 39 (8-81/2) was almost too short. I’ve worn 39 in every European size shoe in the past but have found this brand in general runs short. Taos shoes are very well made and comfortable (as they should be at this price point) but after going to a brick and mortar store to try a 40 I found I would have been better off with the larger size...definitely order up if you are a half size!

Of the firm cork footbed sandals with excellent arch, this is to me the most versatile and best looking of them all with quality leather and great colors. Though I wear a 39 in Birkenstock and Alegria, I needed 40 in these. Sadly, I cannot keep them because the heel is a fraction higher than my nerve damaged feet can tolerate.

Zappos "recommended" size 42, which felt fine but the tips of my toes were just barely sticking out over the edge, so I exchanged for a size 43. Toes are fine, but slightly loose on the heel so I just pull the strap as tightly as I can and they are fine. The arch support is what I was after, and this shoe has a very high arch which is good for me as I have plantares fasciitis. I am not thrilled but I am experiencing the blue dye coming off around my ankle, but it does wash right off.

I bought two pairs of these sandles to wear to Italy and Sicily, and I have to say they stood up to the test. I had to return a pair of these I had bought previously due to poor quality stitching on the side but these ones have done fine. I even on the cobbles and uneven streets and going through ruins my feet and ankles were fine. I supinate and so I need just the right platform for my foot otherwise I am in alot of pain. Others complained of scratchy straps, this is true where the Velcro ends on the strap, but I bought moleskin and put on the underside of the strap and there were no problems after that. Glad I bought two pair!

I love the style and the color (Bronze) but I wish the color had more of a matte finish. They are very glossy, almost glittery (like they're part of a Greek goddess costume). They are very comfortable and I'm going to keep them. I've been thinking about this order for quite a while because they are expensive for sandals but I know I'll get a lot of use out of them.

I purchased these sandals in order to have a pair that are a little dressier than I usually wear in th summer time. I usually buy size 9, but wasn't sure of what I needed since these are European sizes. I wavered between 40 and 41, and finally decided to stay with the 40. I ordered both the beige and the black. I think the beige looks nicer than the black, because there is a stark contrast between the black and the tan sole of the shoe. They are not the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn, but I am keeping both pairs.

I haven't met a sandal that was truly comfortable and good for walking since back surgery 20 years ago. These are excellent -- great arch support and cushioning of impact in the heel area, and slightly raised heel at 1.5 inches also helps. These are very similar in shape to the orthotics that my podiatrist recommended for me -- but I don't need them when wearing these sandals. I had no problem with straps -- flexible and no blisters. Cork insole is cool and comfortable. I am normally a 39 and needed a 40 in these for length. Otherwise, all very good.

Looked so much better in person than online. Comfortable, but a little wide. I decided to return.

I have been searching and searching for the "perfect" sandal to take on my trip to Hawaii, and I found it! I have an older pair of Taos that I think I need to get rid of...I loved them to death! These are comfortable right out of the box for me. Adjustable straps make it easy as your feet swell throughout the day. They can go with a sundress, or shorts, so are a perfect pair as my only pair of shoes for 10 day trip. The bronze color is a great neutral, and a good alternative to black. I would recommend them if you are looking for that "one right sandal." Other reviews have said they were scratchy, but I haven't found that to be a problem. Taos is a great comfort brand, with a little bit of style - granted, they are not dress sandals, but for my purposes a bit nicer than Birkenstocks (which I also love). Try them out!

Nice sandal with countoured footbed, but too wide.

I really love the way these shoes look and feel. They are easy to put on and I could walk in them all day. I am usually a size 9 but I think I would've like a half size bigger.

As others have said, order one size up. I usually wear 37, had to order 38. Very attractive, supportive sandal on a slim bony foot such as I have. Low wedge is good for short people "of a certain age" who need support and height. With that said, for this price and made in Spain it is not as comfortable as other sandals if you stand on your feet all day for work. But if you need a neutral, attractive, sandal that does not look like an old lady orthopedic sandal, this is it!

Needed a neutral sandal for a trip. Have never tried this brand before. LOVE them. They are soft right out of the box. They are a size smaller tho. I usually wear a 39 and had to get a 40. Also, if you need a wide toe box, they are more normal width. Since I had to go up a size, I was able to wear them.

The footbed is absolutely amazing - great support - fit like a foot mold. The straps have two way adjustment but they are a bit scratchy to me. But again - the foot bed is fabulous and it will be hard to find same in other shoes.

My Daughter wears Taos Trulie and loves how they have helped support her arch. Everyone comments on how nice they look. I decided to order a pair for myself but on my foot the toe area was not long enough, but the arch was in the right place, and the back heel area was too long, therefore I had to send the shoe back.

True to size and comfortable. Like the color and style. Low heel is nice. Step up casual. Perfect!

These shoes are very cute and the footbed is extremely comfortable. I normally take either a size 8 1/2 in or 9 in sandals. Even the European size 40 (U.S. 9- 9 1/2 left my toes hanging slightly over the edge. Also the top straps over the toe area irritated my little toes. Regretfully, will have to return.

These are cute, but I think you need perfectly normal average feet to fit. Mine are different size on each foot and a little narrow on one. And it shows. The straps would need breaking in too.

Do not let the price scare you...a bit more than I usually spend on sandles. I wore them inside my home for a few days before deciding to keep them and so glad I did. These are really cute and look great on my feet, my ankles are a bit wide so this style really helps, more importantly they are comfortable and adjustable. I would like to give another review after my vacation.
