My son's feet are chubby and he couldn't wear shoes from Carter's. Now we only buy wide widths from this brand. These were his first shoes as a walker and he LOVED them. I found them easy to get on and off, and the rounded edges really do help with fewer trips. Excellent shoes.

Excellent flexibility and design. Little man's toes are protected and the sole is fantastically high quality and durable for wet weather or mucky conditions, it still remains highly flexible for toddler foot feel and walking development.

I love these shoes! I made the mistake of putting my son in Crocs and he tripped on the clunky soles. Stride Rites are the perfect shoes for new walkers. They're sleek and lightweight to mimic barefoot walking. The rubber soles are rounded over the toes to prevent stumbling. And they come in wide widths for those chubby feet. Like other reviewers, I am stocking up on half sizes because I love them that much. Well worth the price!

Son has worn these shoes like crazy. He loves them and wears daily, however, over time, once the Velcro has accumulated carpet fibers, hair, etc the shoes don't close as well as they used to. The Velcro is the only thing keeping the shoes closed. Slightly disappointed for long term use. Otherwise, loved the shoes.

Man an these shoes take a beating and still look good. very good for little people learning to walk.

Love these shoes I personally ordered a size up because the first pair my baby had rubbed on the back of his foot and made him bleed a little. Other than that issue these are amazing for new walkers and look so adorable on. Would definitely recommend and use socks with them.

Awesome little shoe! Fits great. My son loves them. Seems sturdy. Love the toe is protected from all of his climbing and crawling.

These were my son's first "real" pair of shoes as he started to learn to walk. I loved how these provided good traction, support, and were super easy to put on, given the wide opening. They are also cute to boot. I have bought several pairs of Stride Rites since then, and this pair is one of my favorites.

Cute alternative to a sneaker.

These were great for my daughter when she was learning to walk. I still have them and will be using them for my son when he starts walking as well.

Bought these as first shoes for kiddo #4 in a wide width. The sole provides adequate protection for outside but is flexible enough not to inhibit natural walking motion. A+ on the design of the sole as it comes up over the toe area to decrease wear from all the crawling my little guy still does. The Velcro is nice and long allowing the shoe to easily be put on without having to rethread.

These were the first shoes I bought for my walking baby. They fit him well and he did just fine with them.

I purchased these shoes as my son's first pair of walking shoes. The shoes were not only cute; however, they went easily on my son's feet. The velcro buckles have a strong hold; however, a determined toddler over time can still un-velcro the buckle. I think the shoes are wonderful for active toddler as well as a beginner shoe.

I bought two (different colors) for my twins. They are cute and seem very comfortable for them. Most importantly, they are easy to put on! We have adorable converse too but the lace ups are tedious for some occasions. These are the go-to for quick tasks, etc

I like the grippy sole and cute styling of these shoes. They did seem to fit a little tighter than my son's other stride rite shoes, so he grew out of them more quickly than I would have liked.

Stride Rite's Soft Motion shoes were the first shoes my son has been able to keep on and move around in comfortably. He just turned one and is not walking on his own just yet but I definitely feel like these shoes help to improve his stability when he is standing or cruising around the house. I also love how stylish they are and have received several compliments. Stride Rite's foot measuring tools were very helpful when ordering our shoes in order to ensure we started with the right size. I have and will continue to recommend Soft Motion shoes to other mom friends! I received this product to try for free thanks to Stride Rite.

Okay. I have never spent a ton of money on baby/toddler shoes, because they only wear it for a short amount of time. I don't even spend a ton of money on my shoes to be honest. I got these shoes through BzzAgent, when my son was just turning 13 months old, and I thought, okay, another toddler shoe. My son is big. His feet are chubby. He is clumsy at walking, and shoes make it so much worse. These shoes are AMAZING. First of all, since you measure, even the width, these shoes are so so so easy to put on. Also, they are super light, and super flexible. He does not trip in these shoes, and that is a big deal. They are pricey, but wow have they made my life easier!!

I have struggled for six years to find shoes that are comfortable for my chubby footed children. All three refused to leave their shoes on, because it was flat out uncomfortable. I was given the chance to try these shoes out, and review them. My baby loves them! They come in three width options, which I had never encountered before. My favorite feature so far is the way the shoe opens up, and the tongue of the shoe goes forward, so that you can get baby's foot into the shoe without a fight. These shoes are very well made, as well. So many fall apart in the three months before a baby's foot grows. These will last through multiple babies, easily! They are well worth the price, and I've already got my eye on a pair for each of my nieces, as well as a secone pair for my son!

I can tell my boy loves these so much!!!! He always prefers to wear #StrideRite when we go out. He has 3 different pairs and when I ask which one you'd like to wear he would always point to his new stylish and comfy #StrideRite soft motion. Plus, Soft Motion shoes improve balance and encourage natural movement for first time walkers. When ordering online they have a very accurate size chart which we used, but I ordered a size bigger so he wouldnt grow out of them that fast, and they fit perfectly there is still some space but he has no problem walking in them, or running. Even though they are a size bigger they don't come off on their own. We absolutely love these! I am trying the product for free thanks to Stride Rite®

I'm always looking for shoes that fit my son's wide feet. Thanks to stride rite I got a pair for free. I loved the variety of shoes and sizes that I went ahead and bought more pairs for my son. My son loves his shoes he brings them to me so he can wear them. He has different brand shoes but always picks these. He can't talk but I can defiantly tell that these are his favorite shoes.

I bought these for my one year old as he is a beginner walker. The shoes are holding up great for the amount of times he falls and scrapes the front of them on the ground. And a plus is they come in wide for my lil man. Very happy with this product and will continue to buy this brand for my son in the future.
