I've worn this for the past month or so and love it. Its thicker and warmer than I anticipated, which is awesome. Its not too warm though, nor would I call it super thick or wooly. It's just about right for cooler, brisk days. The pockets are awesome and the look of the Cardigan is such that you can wear it day-to-day and even out for semi-formal events if you'd like. The fit - I'm 6'1, 185 lbs and a large fits me perfect. The sleeves come down to the wrists with just a tad of extra material, which is awesome cause they don't pull way up my forearm if I'm stretching out my arm or reaching overhead or trying to reach back to put a backpack on. It comes down to just above my zipper line, and just below my waist, which is also great. It doesn't hike up and expose my belt or my bare stomach either. Overall it's simply a wonderful piece for cool or even chillier weather. highly recommended.

I have mixed feelings about the Covert (I have the 2018 version). The fabric is very nice and construction is what you expect from Arcteryx; that is, fantastic. But then, it has some design decisions that I don't understand. First, sleeves. I understand that climbers need particularly long sleeves, but urban commuters (which I believe are the target users for this piece of garment) don't. The Covert has very long sleeves. To have them stand straight I need to pull them over my hands. And you don't want to fold them because the inside finish is much different than that of the outside. They are also very narrow; if you wear a sweatshirt underneath you'll need to grab the sweatshirt sleeve very tight and pull intensely to put the Covert on. If not, the sweatshirt sleeve will end up on your elbow. Such long sleeves might be good for bikers. The arm pocket is not particularly useful. I would very much prefer a well designed interior pocket for the phone. Another thing I cannot understand is why it does not have a hanging strap. With regards cut, I'm very thin and have no belly. I am 5 feet 9 and weight 150 pounds. Size S is perfect around the shoulders but has too much room around the belly. To make things worse, the Covert has an elastic waistband but the cut is not long so the waistband will end above your butt giving a bulky look around the belly. If you have one, great. If you are thin, not so good. I only look good with the Covert on if I continually pull the waist down or if I have my hands in the side pockets, which by the way are big and well lined and constructed. Long story short: quality materials and finish and perfect cut and design if you have a belly and long and thin arms.

I loved this cardigan when I got it, it looked so great. But as soon as I got it in the house it showed to be completely unwearable. I have a short haired pointer dog and its hair gets stuck in the fleece and it is absolutely impossible to get it all out. The only thing that works is to pull each hair out individually, which with the amount that gets stuck in there is unviable. It also holds on to other loose dirt badly. I have never had this problem with any other piece of clothing I own, including fleeces from other brands. Otherwise this cardigan is really great, so if you can keep it clean it's probably worth it. I suppose my jacket is probably faulty so others may no have the same issue. I really can't wear it out on the town it looks so bad. Maybe you could buy a lighter colour which hides dirt.

Purchased this as a layer piece for hiking and for just wearing about town. The colour is a pictured and I love the quality and craftsmanship. I haven't experienced pilling on this sweater yet after a few months.

I bought this fleece for the send time for my father. This fleece is light, warm and look modern. He wears it all the time when the air gets a bit chilled.

The best looking fleece for the office. Looks like a wool sweater, warm like a fleece and not too hot, Arcteryx fit. It's an everyday wearable.

I recently upgraded to the Covert zip cardigan from the older quarter zip. I've got to say I am beyond impressed with the overall quality of the fleece and design. Very simple yet practical piece that I end up taking with me everywhere I go. I am 5'8", 180 lb. and the Medium fits me perfectly in terms of width, torso length and sleeve length.

Great product - warm and looks great. Sometimes the pockets can look weird with the stiff lamination around the zippers.

Just received this item. At first glance it seems very well made, fits well and has nice features. I will be testing its utility and durability on a three week trip to rural Mongolia at Lake Khovsgul near the Russian border.

It's great for around town, hey Arc'teryx listen to the reviews either make the arm pocket bigger to fit a phone or glasses. Or you can replace with chest pocket. Regards
