I love the everything about my Atom LT Hoody in 24K Black - the look, the feel, the warmth, the mobility, the light weight, the durability, the pockets (fit my Venta AR gloves one in each side pocket when I need my hands free), the elastic cuffs, the zipper and the hood design. I thought the Norvan SL Insulated Hoody would always be my favourite but the Atom LT is now king in my closet. I'm using the following layering system now:
BASE=RHO LT Zip Neck
MID=Delta MX Hoody
OUTER=Atom LT Hoody or Norvan SL Insulated Hoody
And this layer system has been fantastic down to -10C so far.

For how light and pack friendly as this is, its extremely warm and versatile. This is with me or in my car ready to go most any time. The fit, warmth, and quality of construction are very nice.

I bought this jacket 2 years ago. It is lightly rain resistant, so if caught in a drizzle you will be fine.
I now use this jacket more than my fleece as it is lighter in weight, travels well.

You think I'm joking? I'm not! I bought this a year ago now, and have worn it at least once a week since - yes, even over summer (I'm from rural Alaska, we have snow capped peaks year round woo!) and I am still so so so in love with it! It is super comfortable, layers really well, the color is fab, and has done really well in both cold/cold and coldish/warmish weather. I tend to always be really warm bodied, so I was nervous about this being TOO warm, but it adjusts really well! It's slim fit, so awesome for climbing - it doesn't bunch under my harness, and it is just long enough to sit comfortable under both harness and hiking backpacks! It is my go-to layer for hiking, walking my dog, grocery shopping, driving to work, climbing on rocks (and ice, heyyoo). LOVE this thing, might buy another one.
bonus - included a photo of both my parter and I wearing ours (totally talked him into getting one too!)

I believe I've purchased "almost" every color on this item. The fit is perfect, the versatility is great year round- more or less layering accordingly. I was never a hoody person, however with this piece, I'm hooked, very comfortable and it doesn't impair vision. Fits great and not tight. The top of the zipper when closed all the way up doesn't bother the skin.

The new atom hoody blows the previous atom hoody out of the park. The face fabric on the newer model feels phenomenal and I have not had any issues with it. I like the lengthier trim on the jacket, getting close to the trim of the proton. In terms of performance, water beading is still exceptional, it blocks the wind pretty well without sacrificing any breathability. Overall a great piece for casual wear and on the trail. Hoping to test it out on the wall once it gets chillier here. Lastly, I thought I was gonna miss the reflective logo from older models, but the stitched on one looks pretty sleek, good job.

I just received this jacket and got to appreciate it's versatility and warmth. It was a brisk fall morning and the temps were in the low 30's. I was tempted to throw on one of my usual jackets but threw on the Atom instead. There was frost on the windshield when I got outside and I was immediately impressed with how warm I was, especially since I was only wearing a T-shirt underneath. Love the warmth to weight ratio. And the cuff design was so cool.
I'm 5'8" and weigh 175 pounds. I'm an active skier, hiker and mountain biker. This jacket fits close to the body. I was initially concerned it might be a little tight but I realize that's the way it's designed so it works better as a mid-layer when used that way. I spend lots of time outdoors so I'm looking forward to giving this jacket a run for the money.

I have wanted this jacket for a few years and finally purchased the black, medium. I absolutely love the fit and the way it moves with your body. I specifically got the jacket for my climbing and backpacking trips. It is lightweight and synthetic, so is very versatile in different weather. The warmth on this jacket, especially when layered correctly is amazing and still breathable. Highly recommend!

This is the jacket that is "just right" for so many situations. Outside of a downpour where you might need a shell, this jacket will keep you perfectly toasty on brisk fall mornings, will keep you warm but not stifled if you start moving, and will look great as you run errands. I've worn this jacket every day since I purchased it and I won't go a day without one for as long as I live.

I just bought my second Atom LT Hoody. My first one has lasted over 5 years of wearing it in every season, in every type of weather, for so many activities. I bought a new one because I wanted one that was updated and in a different colour. The updates are awesome, and it is going to continue being the best jacket ever! Ski touring, mountain biking, camping, hiking, canoeing, the list goes on. The updated version fits a little longer, the logo is stitched instead of printed (no longer reflective though), and has a beak of sorts on the hood. The face fabric feels a little bit more durable as well.

This is my favourite all around jacket. I wear this at anytime throughout the year. Under a shell it's great for colder days. On its own it's great for the fall. Chilly night camping no problem. Packs up small which is great for travelling and hiking

Finally treated myself to this jacket after having years of jacket envy for my boyfriend's atom lt. so glad I did and am now want ALL the colors. I sized up to a medium from a small due to the "trim fit". I wanted a more relaxed fit and ease of pulling over sweaters and long sleeves.

I bought this about two months ago, and I've been using it as it's getting colder both casually and while I'm hiking/bike commuting. It can get dirty without staining, get wet and stay warm, and is surprisingly toasty for how thin it is.
Plus it's just a good looking jacket and is so cozy.

I purchased a new Atom before heading to Montana this fall. I made the foolish mistake of letting my 92 year old father use it the first day of the trip. He never took it off! I (we) like the fit of the jacket and the versatility it provides for cool to chilly weather. It also works well for layering with SV gear by still being breathable. I like the chest pocket being move inside the jacket too. This is a great addition to any outdoor, suburban, or urban attire.

This jacket is my favorite of my set up and for most of my cold weather needs. I used this jacket a lot when I lived on Colorado both on and off the mountain. The Atom LT Hoody looks great around town or even business, I got a black one. Colorado can be harsh and the temperature and weather can change drastically in a short time so this jacket is perfect and amazingly fits all situation. When the cold got too cold the Atom LT was my mid and all the extras on the jacket really shine. The use of a variety of fabrics and panels on the jacket make work really well with other gear. Under the arms is a more flat and breathable area so fabrics don't bunch up in the pit and around the shoulder. The minimalist form of the jacket keeps me warm and stays compact. The best part for me is a bit of vanity, the jacket looks really good, especially when compared to the typical Stay Puff Marshmello insulated jacket style.
