I travel for work for about a week at a time, and this bag is so nice! Keeps me organized, feels super solid, and it packs way more than I think it can. It's also the best of being both a hard and soft shell luggage. I prefer two wheels over four when rolling in airports since the smaller four wheels are just not great in carpeted airports, so this is perfect!

I bought my first copilot about 7 years ago when the wheels on my old bag fell to pieces. Since then the copilot has been my go to travel bag. Long story short, my son took it for a trip and never gave it back! My new copilot has all the great features as the old one and I especially like the smooth ride of the skateboard wheels as well as the front zipper that allows you easily access to the large front compartment without having to unzip the whole bag. Can't say enough about these two features!

Just completely my first trip with this bag. It fit in the overhead bin (Volaris, a budget airline) without any trouble at all. The wheels roll smoothly. I like the mix of a hardshell back with a fabric front. Looks great. Nice big zippers, and Timbuk2 quality throughout every detail. Looking forward to using it for years to come!

Just took the XL with me from Portland, OR to London, UK. It's great!!! I needed a big, sturdy travel case and this did not disappoint. There was plenty of room for winter clothes + all the shopping I did in London. The only thing you have to watch out for is the weight. It's so large that you could easily go over the weight limit.

Had this bag for several years and it has worked great on short hop weekends and long haul international trips. Solid and rugged without ever showing its wear. The top pocket for toiletries is great. The easy open top flap gets you rain gear fast. Clam shell style isolates shoes and heavy/bulky accessories from dress shirts and suits. Pulls like a dream even over rough surfaces. Easy lifts for overhead bins and fits in international flights or smaller overheads. Nice touches like the embedded name/card slot. My Timbuk2 Computer backpack rests on top when pulling through the airport. Do everything bag.

Love the size, the wheels, the handle, the little zipper compartments inside, the shoe compartment, this thing is so thoughtfully designed and can't say enough good things about it. Best yet is if you have to check it you know it will be ok. Great job Timbuk2 customer for life here.

I bought this one for my son after years of using one myself. Mine has logged countless miles in airplanes, cars, and trains, and it's just my go-to bag for travel. Tough, easy to use, perfect size, great for organizing my stuff into things i need to access along the way (the top zip pocket and front flap). Highly recommend.

Bought this for my wife who travels often for work. She loves how organized she is with all the compartments and the awesome wheels.

This suitcase is AMAZING! I couldn't believe how much I could pack into it, how well organized it is, and how easy it rolls! Mom was right! She said I would LOVE my new TIMBUK2 luggage!

fits easy in the overhead, fits a lot of stuff in the bag. if im going anywhere for more than a week this is my go-to and i always get compliments on it in the airport. plenty of compartmentalization inside to make packing a little easier. front pocket is kinda useless if you're fully packed though.

I purchased the small version of this suitcase for my husband a few years ago. He travels quite a bit so when it was time to upgrade my suitcase, this bag was a no brainer. I'll definitely purchase more of these bags in the future.

I am a long time Timbuk2 user and fan. I have never been more impressed with a luggage product holding up and performing as well as theirs. Thoughtfully designed yet not overdone to maintain durability. Bravo! This size is perfect for the long trip and will accommodate more than the typical hard cased versions you find due to the compliance of the fabric -- WHILE holding up in durability and LOOKS (the hard cases will last ONE trip before being scarred for life).

Fits way more clothes than what it seems. Super comfortable.

Everything was pretty much flawless when it came to our 7-day trip to Canada. We didn't want to check bags, and we were able to get an entire week's worth of clothes into each of our bags. Could not be more pleased with the quality of the product. The size we purchased fit perfectly in the overhead bins, We logged them through two different airports with absolutely no issues whatsoever.

If you're going to be traveling long, far, or wide..this is your bag. My husband and I are both airline pilots and needed a large, well made, bag that would schlep us through our 30 day honeymoon in Europe. We each took a half of the suitcase and enjoyed or organized that helped us be. My husband was in charge of rolling the bag and he had no trouble over the cobblestones in Florence, the hills and steps of Capri, or the miles we pulled it from airport to Airbnb. The wheels are so durable and fantastic. 5 stars for this bag.

I used this bag to move from San Jose to New Zealand. It easily handled over 75 lbs of luggage. It is one of the highest quality bags I've come across. I would highly recommend this bag, it's well worth the price.

The Medium Copilot Luggage Roller is everything you want in a suitcase, and nothing more. It's got plenty of room, as the clamshell opening provides ample layout to get your essentials packed in just right - the interior also benefits from the luggage handle tubing being a bit more on the outside of the bag. For some, it might not be noticeable, but I find that the interior luggage space is freed up a bit because of this, which is a good thing! The wheels are silky smooth and whisper quiet, and also easily replaceable, which is epic for those wanting this bag to truly be a lifetime investment. The MEDIUM size is great for week long trips - if you need JUST a bit more than what's allowed as a carry-on, without having to carry a GIANT bag around. The bag handles scuffing quite well - it gains character, but certainly isn't ripping or looking ratty. The bag is supremely light, which I love, and that pocket up top is great when you're hoping from bus to hotel, or right when you're leaving the terminal, and need to snag a jacket or something quickly that won't fit in your EDC. I do love other bags that have a four wheel system instead of two, but I wouldn't call that a dealbreaker in this situation. If you're looking for the ultimate carry-on combo with maximum volume and versatility, snag the SMALL size of this suitcase and pair it with the Scheme Convertible Briefcase Backpack, which fits as a personal item for most airlines, and it converts to a backpack as well - don't forget, it has a luggage pass-through which is perfect with this Copilot suitcase. Timbuk2 doesn't get everything right (no brand does), but this suitcase paired with the Scheme Convertible Briefcase Backpack is absolute gold.

Used this for both international and domestic travel. Fits all I need and is very maneuverable. Like that it is partially compartmentalized but those compartments are large enough to be useful.

This is the perfect luggage for week trips. The baggage is nice and roomy and worked great for international flights. I've used this for a couple of trips already still looks brand new. Timbuk2 never disappoints.

Took this on my first cruise and it was magnificent. The wheels are exactly as promoted. They are so smooth and quiet. The bag fits perfectly under cruise ship beds too. The quality of the bag shows it's designed to last!

Used for both an extended vacation and work travel, and has taken the rough handling after being checked well. Fits a lot for its size, and easy to roll around. Pairs well with the briefcase backpack.

This is a great size for my husband and I to pack together. Looking forward to using for many family vacations.
