We bought two, one for me and my wife. So far they've been great! I can fit a weeks worth of clothes and my necessities pretty easily. It's fit on every airline I've been in so far as a carry on (Southwest, American, Delta and United. It Still looks brand new and is solidly made. Big fan of the wheels as well, smooth and quiet. I've received compliments about how nice the suitcase looks. Love the top access as well!

I love this bag. I searched forever to find the perfect bag for international and domestic travel after one of this miserable broken bag trips. The wheels are sturdy and easy to navigate, the material is durable and attractive.

Wheels are durable and smooth, have survived cobble stone and all. Compartments are great, love the compartment for shoes at the top.

I've used this as a carry on when flying and more generally for travel. It had a good amount of space and is sturdy. I also quite like the wheels - they are wide and and provide good stability when wheeling the suitcase even over bumpy sidewalks and such. I don't really have any complaints, it's pretty great.

After doing probably way too much research on luggage, it is my humble opinion that for the durability (quality), aesthetics, and volume per dimensions, I don't think that this line of luggage can be beat.

I truly love this bag. After borrowing my husband's for about six years, he was getting a bit fed up. Then the last time I borrowed it the airline snapped the handle - OMG - so trying to avoid a divorce I emailed Timbuk2 and they sent me the replacement part so quickly and it was SO easy to replace - it was like new - so I can thank Timbuk2 for saving the bag and my pride and my marriage. I bought my own bag a few weeks later. The design and quality is so good and I hope it never changes - I just love that I can replace all the parts.

Love this bag! So much roomier and I'm able to organize things better than I was with my other carry on. Would totally recommend this product!

I travel for work. This bag has been excellent for carryon and even stands up to the airlines abuse when I've checked the bag in a few times. I was worried at first when checking the bag in but its been durable and it's just as great as when I first got it new.

I bought the Copilot Luggage Roller some months age and have used it for both overnight and week-long trips. I like the clamshell design allowing access to everything easily, and I especially like the sections one can access without opening the rest of the suitcase. The roller wheels are the best I have ever used, capable on any surface, and at 6'4" I am especially grateful for the long handle (my old suitcase had a shorter handle and kept running into my heels). I have owned a classic small Messenger Bag for years, and carry it with me a lot; it holds checkbook, wallet, phone, keys, notebook, and a book to read while waiting in a doctor's office or some such--laptop, ipad, etc. will fit in as well. I bought the Copilot Bag partly because of my happiness with the Messenger Bag. Excellent products, both!

It provides a ridiculous amount of compartmentalized packing space; it's unreal!

I bought this roller when I got hired as a charter pilot in Aug. 2014 and have been using it 160-200 days per year and have not had a single complaint. All the zippers still work perfectly, the fabric is still in excellent condition, the wheels still roll smoothly and quietly across hotel lobbies and the handle still extends and retracts flawlessly! The only maintenance issue I have run into is that the wheel bearings (yes, BALL BEARINGS on a suitcase) have finally worn out and were making a grumbling noise. Mind you I haven't given them a thought in eight years of rolling them through snow, puddles, gravel, and anything else I can find. I doused them with WD40 to clean the bearings, then hit them with some motorcycle chain lube and they're much smoother again. I'm going to buy another bag to keep on hand as a spare, though I have no reason to believe my current bag will fail me anytime soon. Money VERY WELL spend!

My husband and I got the smaller carry-on sizes. You can cram a lot into them and the zipper and seams are strong enough to hold even under strain. Very light empty compared to other roller bags we've tried. The roller wheels are great for navigating city streets, especially in Europe where cobblestones and bricks defeat other rollers. Easily fit above train seats there too. The top pocket is handy for holding small items you want quick access to like chargers, but I've never really found a good use case for the front zipper. We got one of each color and the grey is a better choice if you can get it; the texture hides scuffs and scrapes much better than the black material, which looks and feels more like a thick neoprene. It would be nice if it came in more color variations.

Light weight. Very very durable. Bullet proof zippers. Very well thought out design features without over engineering it. My med size is 10 years old and been around the world twice. S-M for guys. Large X-Large for the ladies. Love things like their messenger bag fits perf over the extended hand rail system. Best in class roller wheels and best built handle system! It just won't break! Well worth the +200 on par for case of this quality.

I've had the copilot small for about 6 months
I work 6 days a week! I chose this bag specifically for the top and front access and am super pleased with my selection. I did a lot of research before buying and the reviews are spot on. Great roller !!

I am absolutely obsessed with my Copilot. I am a flight attendant so I spend half of my life on an airplane and navigating airports. I have had my Copilot for almost 3 years now and I cannot recommend it enough. She has passed the test of thousands of hours of travel, and honestly still looks fantastic. I have had to replace the wheels a couple times now, understandably, but with Timbuk2's lifetime warranty, it was such a breeze. Anytime someone asks me for a luggage recommendation, I always send them to Timbuk2. My boyfriend is a new airline pilot and after seeing my bag, he swapped his bag from a well known brand designed by flight crew to a Timbuk2 Copilot! We both absolutely love them!
I have the small size and it fits on every airplane that allows carryon suitcases with no issues at all! The amount of stuff I am able to fit in it is unreal, and I love that the handle is external, so it protects the woven back from being slid across the bins or the floor. The smooth front is easy to clean if it gets dirty, which is a huge plus! I absolutely love that you can access the front of the bag through the front zipper flap. It makes grabbing things like a jacket such a breeze!
Also, I am 5'9 (5'10 with shoes) and I never have any issues with the handle being too short or my feet hitting the bag as I walk. My boyfriend is 6'0 (6'1 with shoes) and he doesn't either, so it's taller people friendly!

Prior to Covid, I traveled internationally 6-8 times per year and domestically a few times each month. The medium size allowed me to never check my bag on weeklong international trips but light enough for overnights. After more than 3 years, the telescoping handle broke on one side. A quick chat with Service, and I had a free replacement telescoping mechanism in a few days, which took me about 15 minutes to replace (about 30 screws) - very easy. I love a company that stands by its lifetime warranty and engineers a product that can be easily repaired by its customers!

I have been super impressed with the quality of my roller five years 300k+ air miles countless road miles and nothing more than some scuffs and scratches on the shell. The upper pouch is great for an overnight bag. I have packed for five days in the medium slacks, shirts, dress shoes (sz 14), and gym clothes. Its tight but still fits an overhead. Wheels and handle have held up and never been replaced. I did by the XL for international travel but w/ covid haven't had a chance to fly with it. Great product.

I travel for a living and I'm on the road about 190 days a year. This makes warranty work a challenge. I had a problem, and Monica in customer service made things happen! Last bag I had was from a different company they wouldn't work with me at all, and I ended up with the Co-Pilot to replace it.
The retractable handle broke inside, but it wasn't from lack of use. They sent me a new assembly to replace it. It usually a weak point on most of these bags and this one has actually held up pretty well compared to most.

I am a commercial pilot so I travel often, my original copilot bag is in for a minor repair and I saw the 30% off sale so I decided to purchase a second bag. Really like the handles on all 4 sides and the top pocket for quick access to frequently used saw items.

My wife is a Flight Attendant (FA), an occupation that is brutal on luggage. She loves her Copilot for its soft sides, large smooth running wheels, lots of handles to grab on to, and large EZ to pack zippered compartments.
She would break 2 or 3 carry on's a year before I bought her a Copilot Luggage Roller. Due to the fact that Timbuk2 sells user-installed replacement parts for it (specifically the Roller Extending Handle & the smooth rolling skate wheels) it lasted her almost 4 years! After it's FA stint I gave the bag to my granddaughter who is still using it.
This new one is the replacement for my wife's 2nd Copilot which, I'm happy to announce will be MY new roller!

I fly on about 75 flights per year and have been using a Timbuk2 carry on roller bag for three years. It has been durable and reliable as well as easy to pack. And when I did have an issue with the handle, Timbuk2 sent me a new one which was easy to replace. Hence I purchased the next size bigger for my longer trips. When the airlines damaged this new bag but driving over it on the runway and the gave my $300.00 to buy any bag I wanted and I bought the same Timbuk2 bag.
