Product is big and stylish. Drawback: the wheels had issues fitting overhead bin airport tester. I did remove the wheels easily to get it to fit no problem.

I just purchased this bag and based on others people's opinion I hope it lives up to the hype. I love my other Timbuk 2 items for their durability and use and sure this bag will not disappoint. I got it for the wheels. Skateboard wheels are very durable and can be changed out. I got the medium size bag with hopes of foreign travel and medium size fits the international requirement for carry on.

My son has been using your products for several years, including this luggage. It has held up well through a lot of airline travel stateside and international as well as Cruises. I also love the way Toyo's designed for organizing. I look forward to many years of this with our travels.

Have now waited years to write a review for my Copilot (small). I travel in and out of hotels, mainly driving, so light use. I've now been using this bag since fall of 2015. Going on 8 years and she's still rolling. At the time, I was tempted to buy a cheaper roller, but this is an incredibly durable bag. The wheel design will keep you going unlike those plastic swivel wheels you'd get on another bag. If any colors come out, I will be able to maybe one day pass this to my son and upgrade to a new one. But until then, he can wait.

I travel weekly and have used the carryon twice. It's still new to talk about how long it will hold up. It's spacious inside and the quality of the inside looks good. It rolls like a fancy car

I'm not one to leave reviews for products but I wanted to contribute to helping someone who is really looking for a great bag. In my opinion this is the Best Travel Roller-board on the market for price, quality and design. The warranty is not a bad addition either. Love this company! Caters to those of us who are frequent travelers. Staff is efficient and helpful as well. This review is coming from a well traveled Flight Attendant who has been in the business for over 25 years. Trust me when I tell you, I've used many bags throughout my career. Travel-pro, Samsonite, Tumi etc. But I think Timbuk 2 nailed it! I will definitely be back and I will refer others. Thanks Team. I grew up with a father who traveled 200+ days per year for work and swore by B&R luggage. After sending two of their bag back for quality issues, I purchased the medium-sized bag. In the last five years, I've used this bag for close to 150 trips, half of which I checked this bag. Other than some cosmetic things like stains, this bag is still in perfect condition. I now own two of the mediums and one of the largest. I regularly give the medium as a graduating gift for high school students. As for the large, you need to be careful with packing it because you quickly reach that 50lb weight limit. I couldn't recommend it enough.

I was looking to up my travel game after my last international trip. I wanted an official carry-on shape and size but didn't like the hard-shell offerings out there. I was really impressed with the design of this piece. It has pockets in all the right places, fits all my stuff and more, and rolls wonderfully. This bag is taller than my last one and narrower but fits more and separates items well. I brought mine home and showed it to my wife, and she liked it to the point of buying one for herself.

I love this carryon so much I bought 2 more for my kids. I carry very heavy camera equipment in it and it holds up to a ton of travel (my original purchase was at least 4 years ago and it's still going strong). Easy access and the small footprint guaranteeing that it will fit in any overhead storage bin. Love, love, love this product!

I travel regularly for work and finally found the perfect suitcase. Rolls well, holds all my needs for work trips. I've had a messenger bag now for over 15 years and I am sure after looking at this carry on, it will also stand the test of time and use.

I bought this bag for my wife and daughter since I have used my co pilot for over 10 years and still looks decent and functions as expected after 500,000 miles of travel.

Many miles of travel & this is my go to bag. Being able to have the outside flap that allows me to access the inside main compartment (a notebook or a compressed coat before leaving the airport) has been very helpful. Wheels & handles are smooth & reliable. Note: This has 2 wheels which I prefer! 10/10

Love the size, look, compartments, wheels, and everything else about this suitcase. It can be used as a quick overnight, or can be jam packed for a longer week. Excellent bag!

I bought this bag because my husband has one and anytime we travel I have luggage envy. This carry on suit case is sleek, simple, and elegant. I'm always amazed at how much my husband can pack in this bag compared to my same size carry on. The difference is the soft clamshell design. It allows for much more efficient organizing and packing. The handles on every side make the bag easily maneuverable through TSA and on the plane. The roller wheels glide smoothly on sleek airport floors yet are sturdy enough to roll well over uneven cobblestone streets. I'm looking forward to some great adventures with this bag!

I've had a 10+ yo CoPilot that needed to have the handle replaced. Because of the great service with this replacement part, my wife was sold on the quality of the product. Purchased for her birthday, she's used it for 2 work trips and Thanksgiving. Combined with her packing cubes, a week long trip is no issue.

I travel all the timeplanes, trains, and automobiles. Over the last twp decades i have used and abused countless numbers of carryon roller bags. This bag is the absolute best bag i have ever owned. The comparments are designed in an exceptionally optimal manner. All of my items have plenty of room in a logical space. And then there's the rollers. Sooooooo smooth. You will not find a better "ride" for all your traveling needs.

I travel for work every week and this bag fit the bill. I needed something big enough to fit everything but small enough to stay a carry on. The wheels glide so smoothly and it looks sleek while still being durable.

I bought the Copilot Roller in L for my 2-week trip to South Korea and Japan. I wanted something that would keep up with me hopping on trains, on uneven streets, and in small homes/hotel rooms. I was literally so proud of it and how smoothly it travelled with me. The last day in Japan was extremely stressful and as I ran from train to train to get to the airport, it cruised right along -- over elevators, bumpy sidewalks, gaps between platform and train, etc. etc. The capacity is amazing. This was a winter trip so me being me (a notorious overpacker), I found it tough towards the end to fit everything with my bulky sweaters and shoes. There were moments where I'd wished I had got the XL, but the L is good to keep watch on the weight, and I def did not need the extra bulkiness of an XL when smushed up against a crowd of people in a train car. The L will be more than suitable for future trips. It could still fit in front of my legs on the bullet train and smoothly navigate the aisles. My friends are hardcore 4-wheel luggage people and I kept asking them to roll my suitcase to see how amazing it felt. Tough to convert but I'm so happy with my TImbuk2 and want it in the carry on version now :)

Love the size of this bag. Most EDC bags I found were just too large for my needs. When it's collapsed it's perfect for a laptop, ipad, notebook and various chargers without any bulk.

I was hesitant to purchase this bag because of the steep price, but I assure you it's worth it! I have taken it on a handful of trips since getting it, and it outperforms my Samsonites every time!

After much research I choose the Timbuk2 Copilot Small and found it to have ample room for a long international trip. The cool wheels are solid and really quiet on uneven ground. So stoked about this luggage!
