Excellent bag for day to day use. Just wish velcro closure wasn't there (catches on clothing). Also wish there was an outside deep or zipper pocket to drop phone into. Velcro so strong and loud cannot discreetly access phone from inside pocket.

I've had several Timbuk 2s and they have all been great bags. I'm loving the reflective centerpiece on my new one, and all the space. So much space. No more stuffing and hoping the zipper doesn't break.

This is a great bag: plenty of pockets, all easily accessible and convenient to use.

This is my 2nd messenger bag, the 1st one was a company freebie that I liked for its quality, so I decided to splurge on the custom one. And I love it. I love the look, the amazing quality and style, and additional laptop pocket fits a 16.5" perfectly. Cannot be happier!

This replaces a backpack I've used for work gear for many years. Thinner current generation laptops lend themselves to a messenger bag. The Timbuk2 is lighter, and everything is now easier to get to. Due to its slim profile, it fits nicely under the airline seat while still leaving ample legroom.

Compared to my OG T2 messenger I had i20+ years ago, my new one is far more versatile/comfortable//lighter/refined Old one was bombproof and would survive being dragged by a car for miles but new bag is just as sturdy while being more flexible, and the strap and cinch designis a vast improvement.

I "designed" an all black bag with an orange Timbuk2 logo. My school colors are orange and black. A couple of teachers have already asked where I got the bag! I am a high school teacher that has to lug around a 17" laptop. The large Messenger Bag is awesome extremely well built. It fits the laptop with ease, plus an external drive, a rain jacket and lots of teacher "stuff," with room to spare. It's built like tank but does not seem heavy even with the brick laptop. My teacher side hustle is professional photography, if you folks made a messenger camera bag for a DSLR/Mirrorless camera body and a couple (or three) lenses, I'd be over the moon! Subtle enough!? Too much!!? ;-) Buy. This. Bag.

Great quality and design

Very well built. My last bag lasted me well over ten years before having any issues... and frankly would have lasted much longer if I wasn't so rough on it. I imagine my new custom bag will keep me company for at least the next decade.

it is my uni bag, I like it because it is easy to take out and put stuff in while the bag is on the floor next to me

I purchased this bag for a friend as a Birthday Present. He said this is his 3rd bag, they get used very heavy, he travels a lot for his job. He really loved it, especially since I made a custom one for him. Very well made, he said he probably will get a good 10 years plus out of it, like his other bags.

I bought my husband a new Timbuktu 2 messenger bag for his birthday, His current Timbuktu bag (he's had it forever) is still great. I bought him a new one so he could put a few more things inside for his long trips. Now he's using both!
