I love my Chucks and regularly wear four or five pairs. These are hands down my favorites which are far more comfortable than standard Chucks and still look timeless. I'm in my mid-40's now and my feet feel a bit more grown up wearing the '70 Ox's...even if my wife believes I think I'm in my 20's still.

For my feet, these are The Best Chucks. And I tried several (thanks for sticking with me Zappos!). Every one slipped on my heels, and had absolutely no structure. I don't know if it's the additional eyelets, but they fit like they were made for me. They even have some gentle arch support that falls exactly in the right place. I need to order more colors -- now. Zappos, you're the best.

I wear a 15 in Nike. I wear a 14 in all converse. Love this “ off white “ style.

Fit size and look nice

I love the shoes! They fit just right and are very comfortable, in fact I’m wearing them as I write. The only issue is I ordered black, the box says black and Zappos says they’re black but my pair are navy blue. I kept them anyway.

I bought a pair of Converse All Stars high-top number of year ago, I couldn’t believe how flimsy they were. When I walk across parking lot you could feel every little pebble in those shoes. I even called a high school buddy, told him about the shoes, I said is this the way they were in the sixties, he Abruptly said quickly NO they make so cheap now. If you didn’t live back then you wouldn’t know what I’m talking about, you would just except them the way they are. So I was looking through Zappos (witch I love) and I saw Converse Chuck Taylor All Star 70. I wonder what did the 70 represent. Started reading the reviews, could it be possible that they brought back the same shoes we all wore throughout sixties so I ordered a pair of low-top white. They arrived open box, put them on low-and-behold I just went back to the sixties. Quite a bit thicker canvas, thicker shiny rubber sides. They were true to fit sizes and even the color of the canvas was a off-white just as I remember them. They feel as good to walk in as my running shoes. Most things improved over time except Converse All Star didn’t they got worse. That’s all changed now but make sure you get one that say “70”, probably stands for 1970. By the way I’ve called all my high school sixties buddies told about the “70”.

These shoes definitely run large, about 1/2 size to 3/4 size. I've ordered several pair now, and I know to order 1/2 size smaller than my normal size, so the end result is a great fit. They are very comfortable and the 70's version is a definite upgrade compared to the standard Chuck Taylor. I definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who likes the Chuck Taylor All Star style.

These are much more comfortable/cushy than I thought they'd be. I got a half size down from my usual size. I initially bought these for the style, but found that they have really good support. My daughter has been wearing these for years and I never thought about buying myself a pair. Worth the price for a nice casual sneaker.

If you were a 10 in the regular Chucks, then order the same size for these. Super comfortable compared to the regular ones. So far they seem to be holding up better as well.

Best Converse, fast shipping

I wear a woman size 9 (so mens would be a 7) & I purchase a 6.5 because they do run a little big. They are the most comfortable converse they do have a lot of cushion on the bottom. I like wearing them without socks. By far my favorite I have them in many colors

These take me back to high school! I LOVE THESE SHOES! They are so comfortable and I’m on my feet a lot. Now if they just brought grunge back, I’d have the perfect ensemble ??

Love these 70s Chucks. Great style. Higher quality materials than regular Chucks. Extra cushioning, so they’re more comfortable, too.

These converse sneakers have more support than some of the others. Very comfortable.

Excellent shoes! The build quality is definitely worth the extra price. I had to go down 1 full size from my Brannock measured size of 10.5. I do wear a 10.5 in vans for comparison and my foot measures about 10 3/4 inches in length. Initial wearing was pretty snug and uncomfortable but are perfect now after a few wears. The 9.5 leaves me with about 1/2 inch of room at the longest toe (after breaking in). Perfect! I will be buying more.

runs long. I wear size 11 and these were very long for me. I had at least 1 inch of space between shoe and big toe

I really like this Converse 70s. They have a harder and more durable rubber sole, and thicker canvas. Some might not like that these shoes are heavier, but I love them. The original converse have gone down in quality as the years go on and I've found that these 70s are much more durable. They don't fall apart like the originals. They seem to have a much better insole in it, but I don't use it because I put in my powersteps which 9-9.5 size fit perfectly in the 8.5 mens shoe. They run perhaps half to a full size big. Closer to half a size in my view. I love these shoes.

Bomb shoes!

Definitely runs a half size large. The shoe feels like the cushioning is twice as thick as standard Chucks. Very comfortable for walking around.

Great looking shoes. They are a little more comfortable that your usual cons. Be sure to get at least half size down
