These chucks would have been great however they are so narrow that even the rubber toe cap looks way too small. Had to return them. Wish they were cut like regular chucks.

My son wears only converse. He usually wears the lower priced model. I got these thinking they were better made, would last longer, and have more cushion. My son has cuts around the heel where an edge inside the shoe is pressing against the heel. He said they feel a lot tighter than his regular converse. They can’t go back now because he’s worn them trying to break them in. Just ordered the lower priced shoes.

First thing I noticed when I got these shoes was that the Sunflower color was darker than the picture posted. Not a deal breaker, but I was looking for a bright Sunflower color. I'm a size 7.5 in the All Star Core shoes, so after reading quite a few reviews, I sized down to a 7, but they felt narrow (toes felt squished from the sides), and they were oddly roomy lengthwise (so maybe 7.5 would be enormous?). In addition, these DO have a removable insert (at least in size 7 in the women's size). So in conclusion these are cushy, Sunflower yellow is darker than pictured, the insert is removable, and sizing is all over the place. Will try again.

I absolutely love the style and look of these shoes but what ruins it for me is that eyelet rubs off a silver/black paste onto my BEIGE laces and eventually onto the canvas of the shoe itself. This has happened with two pairs and so it looks to be a problem overall. NOT OKAY.

Had to return these. The rubber toe piece was supposed to be white and is yellow. See photo. They look like clown shoes. I loved Zappos but I just cannot continue to be disappointed. Low stock levels, long shipping times and lack of selection are just a few of the disappointments.

This product is not new one. It is used with traces of washing. I'll return it.

Converse has begun gluing the arch support insert to the bottom of the shoe. It's not Elmer's glue either. It is impossible to remove the insert. That means that you can't use orthotics with the shoe. What was the problem with the old, removable inserts? Did anyone complain about the inserts moving around in there? Were people worried they'd be stolen at the pool? Try PF Flyers.
