I usually wear a 12 in sneakers but adhered to sizing instructions to buy a half size smaller which I did. I purchased 11.5 Chuck Taylors. I like the canvas for the summer months and the style will always be.

The material is thicker so if your used to wearing no socks it will cut up your feet unlike the version with thinner material. But they are nice and strong and have real rubber on the bottom

Ordered a 10.5, my usual shoes size and they were huge, so order a half size down. Overall they look nice in person. The shoes laces are not as long as the usual converse but they are thicker and more durable. Converse aren’t comfy shoes, but I think this style has a bit more built into the sole to make it a little comfier. Overall they are nice shoes.

I am a solid women's 7 in converse low-tops, and in my experience high tops are 1/2 a size larger, so I sized 1/2 a size down, and low and behold, they fit perfectly. I get compliments on these shoes all the time. They are the perfect sunflower yellow and I LOVE THEM.

Great looking shoes. Very solid construction with a nice cushy insole. The only problem was that I'd read elsewhere to purchase 1/2 smaller than my shoe size, but they are actually true to size, so I had to return. Unfortunately, Zappos did not have stock in the correct size and colors that I was considering.

I have the sunflower yellow, the blue, and the red. So yeah, I like ‘em.

The material is much more substantial than classic All-Star Chucks.

Classic Chuck's - stylish as ever, with a splash of color. Not a lot of arch support, but the shoes run about 1/2 size large, so my custom orthotics fit inside perfectly.

These are much more comfortable and supportive than the old school converse. Bought for my daughter who wears 9.5 women’s. Fit was perfect with a little extra room in the toes, which is good because feet are still growing. I tried them on too. I’m a 10.5 and they are a tad short. Just to give some perspective.

Daughter loves this edition with the extra cushion insole. Also likes the off white color instead of bright white; her new favorite pair of chucks.

I appreciate the color/style and the 'heft' of these "'70" All-Stars. They're a bit better than regular Chucks (heavier canvas, slightly better support) but they're not as comfortable as the sadly short-lived "Chuck Taylor II's" ...that said, these sneakers seem to run huge. I am a consistent US size 10. Brooks Beast Sneakers: 10, Adidias sneakers: 10, Sanuk sandals: 10, Doc Martins: 10 .... but this pair of Chucks is a US 9.5 and it is STILL a bit large. I probably won't bother to return 'em for a smaller size, but if I order them again, I could definitely go down to a US mens 9.

The extra padding of the insole makes a huge difference on this version and the white is more of an off white...

Really good quality and a nicer look than regular converse. I’m usually a 5.5-6 in sneakers. I ordered both the 5 and the 5.5 to try on. Ended up keeping the 5 because the 5.5 was a little roomy lengthwise. I’d suggest trying a half size down!

My teenage daughter could not be happier with these shoes. The only hard part was picking a color!

This shoe is the upgraded version of the Chuck Taylor. The most noticeable difference is the thicker insole.

Very comfortable and supportive

These Chucks really are an upgrade from the floppy, single-ply versions of the 1990s. This update is very well-padded, and you can actually walk all day in them. Materials are much higher quality, as is the detailing and attention to finish. Well worth the additional 20-30 dollars over the standard Chuck Taylors. My one complaint, and this is why I take away one star from my "overall" rating, is these shoes came with 72" shoelaces - this is a workboot length and even tied to the very last hole, the laces touched the ground and looked sloppy. Which is unfortunate, because the included laces are high-quality, but they ended up in the trash when I had to replace them with 52" laces, which lace up perfectly.

These were for my husband whose middle name is Converse. He’s very happy with them; just what he wanted. They arrived in a timely fashion.

These shoes are great. Nice sturdy canvas, surprisingly comfy insoles, and classic style. These are FAR superior to the standard chuck Taylor. Go down half a size for proper fit.

I love these shoes! I ordered them at 9:00 pm last night and they came after lunch the very next day. They are beautiful colored and match a lot of clothes because of the more mustard color rather then neon. They are very retro and vintage and I love them so much! They might look bulky in some images people share, but even though they are platform they do not look bulky in real life. These will be my go to pair of shoes and I love them and would highly recommend!!!

Converse run a half size too big. I'm a true US 8 in women's so I ordered a size 7.5 in these. They're perfect! They don't hurt to break in and are always super comfortable. I have them in so many colors.

Very comfortable. I can wear these for a long period of time
