Great design and I had high hopes for the fancy-schmancy sole. It was plenty wide for my E width feet, but too long. And the straps are definitely not made for a wider foot - had to loosen them all way past the point of attractiveness. The arch support is intense. Unfortunately, because the length was off, the supportive heel wasn't hitting my foot at the right locations, so it was hard to tell how comfortable they are. I would love to see the straps lengthened and for this shoe to come in half sizes - how can you claim to be a orthopedic shoe and offer such limited sizing? However, it is a very attractive comfort sandal and a great price.

Although the sandal looked nice enough, and the arch support was satisfactory, the underside of the straps had seams that irritated the top of my feet...had to return them.

Although I usually wear a size 8, the size 7 in this sandal fits me very well. The arch support is just the right height to allow me to wear these instead of my orthotics. The uppers would look better if they were leather, but they look OK. I would like to see the company use this arch support in their sport sandal, which has a much higher arch support that I cannot wear. I am satisfied with the Amber sandal and will keep it.

Glad I ordered these. One of the rare designs of sandal that doesn't place a strap right across my bunions; but is designed in a way that sort of minimizes the appearance of those uncovered bunions too. I wasn't too crazy about the straps being vinyl, topped by a thin layer of cork on the outside. I'm not sure this will wear very well over time; but I'm so darn grateful for the comfort, I'll overlook that. Put out a version with real leather straps, and I'll be right there in line for it! Cannot beat the arch support. It's aggressive, and takes a few days to get used to it (Mind you, I've got knee problems, so the amount of walking I do in these is pretty limited. I haven't tested 'em hiking or all-day shopping. But they've gotten me through an hour and half in the grocery store, so that's something.) The only other comment I would make about the design is that the back straps could be improved if they would introduce a loop through which to pull the strap, with the strap then folding back towards the heel and being secured with velcro that way. Currently, with the whole strain of keeping the strap on being placed on just a strip of velcro, I could see it coming undone while walking once the velcro begins to get a bit worn. Plus, when taking off the sandals, the velcro in its current position tends to re-attach closed before a person can pull her foot out of the shoe, so you have to kinda' hold the velcro strap out of the way while taking off the shoe. A bit annoying. But, the sandal is so supremely comfortable. I wish these had been around 20 years ago, and maybe I'd have less pain in my knees now.

I've been wearing these shoes for about a month and I love them. They not only look attractive but are so comfortable. My feet love them and my legs sometime ache at night but when I wear these shoes they don't bother me as much. I will be ordering more Vionic shoes in the future. I get lots of compliments on them as well.

So, I suffer from planar fascitis, bunions; and am currently dealing with bad knees. These sandals feel like they have more arch support than my Spenco Total Support insoles do. Because of my knees, I have limited experience walking in them; but I've been standing for a hour at a time and wearing them all day, doing modest walking inside; and they seem to be very comfortable. The straps very sensibly are not positioned over my bunions (finally, a good design for us wide feet folks). The only possible down side is the straps round the back of the heels are not looped over some sort of "belt" ring before velcroing shut, which as the velcro gets older, may cause them to come undone easier.

I chose this sandal as part of a quest to find great arch support for a plantar/heel problem. It's a step in the right direction with adequate, though not overwhelming, arch support. The angle of the heel strap sometimes seem just a little off, but overall it's a very comfortable sandal and the cork is a great neutral for summer. The footbed seems to retain odor if they are worn daily. I find the Birkenstock soft footbed my bed solution for foot comfort, but they aren't as cute as these.

I ordered this sandal in the gold cork, and I think they would be absolutely cushy and comfortable for all-day wear. And, they're pretty cute for a comfort sandal (I loved how supportive the heel area was!). However, they were way too big on me. I tend to wear a lot of Clarks shoes, and a 9W is usually right on target, but these were longer and way too wide. Sadly, I had to send them back. They don't come in 1/2 sizes and I'm kind of not wanting to experiment with both the 8 med and 8 wide to see what works.

I have been a big fan of Orthaheel sandals - it's pretty much all I wear. I didn't particularly like the color/texture which wasn't quite white enough. The footbed also seemed a little weird. These are the first Orthaheel sandals I've returned.

It fit fine, but it's really really ugly. Like, if you are under 50 don't buy this. Unfortunately gives off senior vibes. Nothing wrong with that of course, but the style is can be bad on younger people.

I've worn Vionics for years for the perfect arch support, fit and comfort. This shoe is a disappointment because the interior is plastic rather than the previous leather softness in all my other Vionics. Thus these shoes are uncomfortable to wear and have to be returned.

Almost all of the women's shoes I wear are Medium width but my feet stick out over the side on these, through the bottom two straps.

Fit is good, with a really nice footbed and support. I just think they are too busy looking for my taste and the straps don't hit me in the ideal spots. Taos is better for my feet, though Vionic footbed feels better.

With so many straps, these shoes were extremely versatile in fitting the foot. I didn't like the feel of the footbed however, with the raised bumps. And frankly, the straps were so thick and there was so much velcro that they looked like cheap. Also, they looked like orthotic shoes...I need support shoes, but ones that are a little more styled. Def looked better in the picture than in person.

The best thing about these sandals is the ability to adjust the straps to make them fit your foot. That said, the straps are hard/stiff and the velcro will scratch your feet. If you can get past that, the footbed is comfortable and supportive. I found the straps and velcro so irritating to my skin that I am sending these back.

I normally wear a 9.5. I ordered a 10 because my size was not available and I needed something for an event. I have another pair of Vionic sandals in a 10 and they fit so I took a chance. These were too large and the style is a bit chunky for the event so they are being returned. I would say that these would be nice for casual wear. Unfortunately, not a winner for me.
