After all the great out of the box reviews, I was a bit nonplussed when I first wore these. I think the shoes are adorable, but they were a bit scratchy. Because the footbed is synthetic I've found they can get pretty stinky after a hot day in New Mexico. I use a bit of hand sanitizer on them and that does the trick. All in all I still like these shoes...they're a great casual, comfortable and cool shoe.

These are truly adorable shoes. My only issue is that I have a very high instep and the strap is sadly in the wrong place and won't fasten.. even with the ability for the strap to stretch a bit. So sad to have to send them back!

Cute, comfortable, lightweight shoes with good arch support. The shoes felt a bit short, but not so small that I needed to exchange them. The strap is not adjustable.

Nice shoe looks great -- but the inside smells a bit as you wear them. Perspiration of your feet and synthetic material of inside of shoe just are not very compatible -- odd smell with moisture.

Very cute, but ran small compared to nearly identical item from Teva bought several years ago. I normally wear 8.5, but this one was definitely too small -- my toes were cramped and pushed up against the toe of the shoe. Otherwise very cute shoe. May try it in a half-size -- or maybe even a full-size -- larger.

I wanted a cute shoe for travel which could also stand up to the elements. I have flat feet, zero arch, and these shoes fit great, and were very comfortable. I wore them on the plane with a skirt and didn't feel "clunky." Then I wore them for 5 days to a music festival in hot humid weather in Louisiana, in rain and the resulting mud, and the only "break in" issue I had was that I needed to put a bandaid for cushion atop the bone on my big toe, as the curve of the shoe hit me there. I didn't have to worry about the rain ruining them, and I only had to take one pair of shoes. They are incredibly lightweight. The mud washed off under running water with no damage to the shoe. Two caveats: --If they get wet and you walk on smooth surfaces like a tile, marble, or linoleum floor, they will slip and could be extremely dangerous. -- If your feet tend to perspire, they will become "odoriferous." I washed mine with soap then sprayed them with perfume and they seemed to be okay for the duration of the trip. This is a great shoe but Teva needs to correct the slippery sole, or you could really hurt yourself.

There were perfect for my trip to Tulum, very versatile. The covered toe made it good for walking around ruins and rocks; the strap could be snapped back to make it a slip on which precluded my need to pack flip flops; very lightweight and ventilated for hot weather; cute styling. Cons - traps a lot of sand, so maybe you'll want those flip flops after all; the strap is not adjustable, that's poorly described; limited arch support so best for travel where you're not wearing shoes all the time; a little tight in width if you have bunions. I was at first concerned 7.5 would be too large, I'm often closer to 7 but sometime 7.5, but in the end, it fit just fine; what wiggle room there was upon trying was unnoticed when walking.

I bought these at the end of last summer to take to England and Italy, but chose different sandals. This spring I took them on a trip to New Orleans because it was supposed to be torrential rains. I wore them for four solid days of sight seeing. It rained off and on. They were comfortable, had great traction, dried very quickly, and were cute. I didn't want to ruin a pair of ballet flats or have soaking wet feet all day. These were perfect. I wore them with J Crew Matchstick jeans rolled up, a top and a cardigan each day. I had a few people ask me about them and were surprised when I said they were Teva. I wish they were solid black. I might take a black sharpie to the mesh part to make them solid black and look less sporty. I love the snap strap. Velcro looks more like water shoes, but the snap looks more like regular shoes. I can also wear these with the strap flipped back. These are now top contenders for our trip to Paris and Amsterdam (especially because it might be rainy in Amsterdam). I have been looking for simple black flats to wear on that trip, but I need padding and comfort. I have super high arches, and in four days of walking and standing I had no arch discomfort. I also love that they do not pinch my toes. They can spread out like in barefoot shoes. I bought half a size up, 6½ instead of 6.

I'm going on a rafting trip and wanted some shoes that were water-worthy and as cute as possible (not easy in the outdoorsy world). These were the cutest looking but the strap on top isn't adjustable which is really ridiculous I thought and hence I sort of slipped out of them. The sole is fairly thin too so if you walked in them a long time or over rocky trails they probably wouldn't be as comfortable as some of the other options. I ended up going with the Keen Rose sandal but these would be a good option if you're going more for looks than function.

Definitely runs half a size large. I'm normally a 9 in Tevas but needed a 9.5 in these. That makes them a little wide, and the strap a little loose, but they're so comfy and cute I don't mind.

The shoes are awesome! The strap is a little tight, but it does loosen up some. The body of the shoe is very comfortable. Just what my sensitive feet ordered!

Very comfortable out of the box. I bought them for a trip to Italy in which they need to serve several functions from camp shoes to with dresses.

I really like this shoe, but a problem: The strap isn't adjustable so in a narrow foot like mine, the strap is too high on my foot. Looks a little funny.

For the most part, these sandals are absolutely great. One slight problem. The mesh part on one foot has a wrinkle - it is not smooth so it looks as though it is stretching. The other foot is smooth so that is good. Secondly, the sandals are cut on the outside edge a little too soon, just above the mesh my foot seems to bulge - the solution would be to have the mesh extend slightly further toward the instep.

I purchased the Teva Northwater since they were similar to a pair of Teva shoes I have had for several years and they are super comfortable. The Northwater pair fit well, but after walking in them awhile I found they are starting to rub on the top side of my feet. Also, the snap closure seems to be a bit loose, a velcro closure would have been better.

These are comfortable shoes that get a lot of compliments. They are lightweight, keep my feel cool and don't stink when I sweat in them. They also dry relatively quickly and are easy to clean. I like that the closed toe either protects my new pedicure or hides my old one. My only complaint is they are horrible in dry sand. The sand enters the shoe from the side and gets stuck in the toe. The sand build up compresses my toes uncomfortably and gets wedged under my nails. It's better to carry them through the sand than try to empty them every dozen steps. Aside from that, I've worn them camping, kayaking, swimming, around town and at weddings in the park and been very pleased.

I would like a little more room in the toe without going to bigger size. Overall, however, its exactly the shoe I wanted.

Truly comfortable right out of the box. Very lightweight and they lack the clunky look of most "comfort" sandal/shoes. These are actually cute and youthful looking. My only complaint is that they are pricey for what you get -- a synthetic upper and molded footbed. No luxury materials here. They should be priced under $50. I'm glad I bought them because I will definitely wear them often, but I wouldn't buy multiple pairs at this price.

I wore out my Westwaters, and found these to be a great replacement - same sizing as before, with a snap closure instead of the velcro. my only concern is that the ankle strap isn't adjustable, and feels a little loose. I know I'll wear these a lot through the spring and summer! I am usually between a 7.5 and an 8, and the 8 fits well.

This runs small. I own two pairs from previous years in size 10 that fit. If you make it smaller , you need to also make a 10 1/2 and 11, please.

I love the design of this shoe and the comfort. The only problem that I've had with this product is that the strap is not adjustable. I have returned it twice for size in order to see if the strap will be able to fasten. I hope that three times is the charm.

The shoe is attractive and is true to size and has plenty of room in the toe area -- great for people like me with wide feet. It has plenty of support and was comfortable on one foot. The left foot pinched on the side by the ball of my foot. Disappointed that I have to return this one.

Very cute, comfy unless doing a lot of walking. Arch support is minimal and the strap-over would be better if it were velcro; if you have a high instep after a few hours it's too tight. The mesh over the toes runs a bit warm because it's backed with elastic fabric.
