My daughter needed some good walking shoes for our trip to London and Italy this summer. They needed to be comfortable, sturdy, and fashionable. These Tevas rocked on all counts! We were warned about the need for good shoes for the cobblestone streets in Italy many times. Well, the Northwaters held up beautifully. My daughter never experienced any discomfort, and we walked A LOT on our trip. I would highly recommend these shoes.

These shoes are fantastic! Well worth the money. Great flexibility and shock-absorbency in the heel, and they can easily be wiped/rinsed clean. I bought these to wear at the Bonnaroo music festival, which is a lot of walking over four days, and they were perfect! They were a dusty, dirty mess when I got home, but a good rinse and air-dry brought them back to good as new! My feet never got sore or developed any blisters or discomfort. The openness of the design keeps your feet nice and cool, and they dry quickly after getting wet. Highly recommend!

I love these shoes. I bought them before a 10-day trip to Japan on a whim and I ended up wearing them every day on the trip, in which we did a lot of walking around the cities and hiking up mountains. They were incredibly comfortable for my feet, especially since I have virtually no arches. I've received many compliments on how cute they are too. I've decided it's well worth buying a second pair. The only downside: I noticed, several days into the Japan trip, both the shoes and my feet started to smell like stinky rubber. But this probably had more to do with the amount of walking we were doing, and the exposure to dust, sweat, and dirt. A good rinse with water takes care of that issue.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I wore them for several hours the first day, with lots of walking and standing. The next day I wore them, again for several hours, and the heel did start to rub a little bit. I am a true 8.5 and these just fit, my big toe pushes on the front of the shoe but I'm sure a 9 would be too big. The ankle strap is very comfortable, not too tight. Overall, I really like them, they are cute and comfortable.

Wonderful shoe...my second pair...need a half size larger than usual. Love the style, more streamlined than clunky. Many compliments from others, and questions about the brand. Of course, I also mention Zappos!

I'm replacing a very similar Teva style that I love that are several years old and probably won't make it thru the summer. These are comfortable and work well with business casual. I wear with jeans, chinos, crops and skirts. I would buy in other colors if available. Also, I have a very high instep and the strap just barely fastens. I can easily see it being too loose on a foot that doesn't have the high instep.

This shoe is so cute - even better in person than in the picture. Unfortunately the size 8 (my normal size) was too small, and the 8.5 too large. These are sadly going back.

Received these today and I love them! Wore them right out of the box and they're so lightweight and comfortable! I just want to wear them everywhere...and I will!

If you typically suffer from foot pain, I recommend these shoes. I was able to walk for several miles a day in these on my last vacation. I will order another pair. They are a good fit for my some what narrow to medium width foot.

I bought these shoes right before a trip to Europe. Wore them for a week before we left, though they really needed no breaking in. They are, without question, the best walking about Europe shoes I have ever bought! I think they are good looking. I have washed them in the bathroom sink, then semi-dried them with a towel, then a hair dryer, left them out and they were dry by morning. I cannot recommend this shoe enough. Some mentioned that the strap is a little loose; that is by design, as your foot flexes as you walk. Love this shoe!

Fabulous go-to travel shoe. True to size...I work as a nurse on my feet for at least 10 hours and was able to wear this right out of the box for a very long day. Stylish, lightweight. Dress up or down. One of my go-to work and travel shoes. Ordering from Zappos is incredibly easy and fun (LOVE that kitty with a parachute taking your purchase to your cart!) Order arrives faster than Netflix films do!

OMG! Custom made for my foot! All the feeling of barefoot with the benefit of TEVA technology! I should probably by another pair for when I wear these out!!! I'm wearing them everywhere! Wish they came in white and cream!

I bought these for a beach vacation in February (my first pair of Tevas finally gave out after 17 years). These are an excellent choice for all around walking on the beach, throwing on to site see and traveling thru the airport You simply flip the strap back for strolling, and then flip it forward for faster pace. I received compliments on these shoes at the beach, in the airport, and site seeing and shopping between Houston and the Dominican Republic. They rinse the beach sand off quickly, and upon arrival home I wiped the whole shoe down with a leather wipe like your clean furniture with. I plan to buy another pair of black ballet slipper style Tevas and wear them on our Italian Cruise in October and take these shoes as well as my only two pairs of shoes for the whole trip. I am 56 years old.

I bought these shoes about four days before I left for my two week trip to the Middle East (UAE, Jordan, Egypt). I know people say not to buy shows you ll be walking in just before going but these required zero breaking in time! They were perfect and comfortable right from the start, they were cool enough during the hot weather in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, comfortable enough to walk the cobblestone streets around Jordan and when I flipped the strap over to turn them into a Mary-Jane they stayed on my feet and were perfect for my camel ride around the pyramids. The shoes also dried very quickly (I ended up using them as shower shoes also when my flip flop broke) and I wore them at all times except when I hiked some rocky terrain. I have a full 10 (I actually love 10.5 sized shoes but no one hardly makes them) and this shoe felt perfect so it probably runs just a tad big. I also have an average width foot and it fit well. Lastly, I think it s worth mentioning that earlier in the year I had broken my leg and had pins and plates put in which makes my ankle/foot swell throughout the days when I walk a lot and I still had no pain or issues wearing the shoes! Sometimes it swells so much I can put my foot in but no problem here!

These are the most comfortable shoes I own, and they're my go-to shoes for warm weather. I usually wear the shoes with the strap flipped to the back, but I use the strap when I want to make absolutely sure the shoes stay on. I wear a 6.5 M and have a high instep, a fairly high arch, and a bunion on my left foot, and the 6.5 fits likes a glove, with no pinching or rubbing. The amount of cushioning in the soles is perfect for standing or walking for hours, and the moderate arch support is very comfortable. Comfort is very important to me, but I won't buy ugly shoes. These Tevas are adorable and sexy. I have them in black, which goes with all of my (black or grey) pants and capris.

Great shoe. I ordered the brown leather, however, the color of the mesh is very green, which doesn't work for me. Sadly these shoes are going back.

Just what I was looking for. Local stores carry a limited variety of styles. It is nice to be able to browse via Zappos. I ordered the same size as a pair I already have easy.

I really like this shoe. Cute and comfortable. I was looking for something that would go well with jeans or capris for my trip to Hawaii. They run about a half size small so I had to reorder in a larger size. My only complaint is that they have a design on the footbed which makes them a little less comfortable since I will be wearing them barefooted. I wish Teva wouldn't do that.

Cute shoe. Looks great with jeans or capris. Comfortable, but I often wonder why some shoes have a pattern or design in the footbed. I find it a bit irritating but that is pretty minor. Nice shoe.

I love these shoes! I wore them all over Europe for 2 weeks. I wore them with dresses, pants and shorts. They are so comfortable and when it rained they were great. They are so cute on.

Fantastic, comfortable shoes! Bought them because I saw another woman wearing them, and she said they were great. I needed closed-toe comfortable shoes for work during the warm weather months, and these have been perfect. They are durable, have a non-slip sole, and are cute to boot! I have them in black too. May even buy a third pair! Slight oversight on Teva's part is the "adjustable" strap; it's not manually adjustable and therefore is always a bit too loose. But I still love these shoes anyway.

Great shoe! I have narrow, flat feet and have a difficult time finding shoes that fit. This is cute, comfortable and stylish without being clunky. They don't have great arch support. They strap is a little long but doesn't bother me. Strap can be worn over instep or folded back for a cleaner look. Great price too! I have tea sandals also which I love!

This lightweight sandal is so feminine looking. Size is perfect. I wear with shorts and casual dresses. Never owned a pair of Teva's and am not disappointed. The strap has a sturdy snap and is a little loose but comfy. I put a gel insert for added walking comfort.

These shoes are fantastic! Super cute and very comfortable, with no break-in period required. They have just gone on sale and I may buy a second pair in a different color. One thing of note: the strap is not adjustable, despite what the descriptions on both the Zappos and Teva websites say. I would also like to applaud Zappos' customer service. One of my shoes was slightly defective (one strap was not sewn down properly and pulled out of the shoe after a week), and Zappos promptly sent out a new pair with no hassle. Thanks Zappos!

I bought these as a replacement for my beloved circa 2009 Teva Westwaters. The Westwater ran a half size large for me, but this updated version is TTS. These are lighter than the original, with a molded footbed that will hopefully ward off the teva-stank that comes with dunking them into a lake or ocean. The strap isn't the tightest, but for me it mostly serves to keep the sandals on my feet when they're submerged (they stay on just fine otherwise). Love these for canoeing, kayaking and accessing beaches that are only reachable via a hike!
