I have a bad right foot that I walk on the side of and a weak ankle. I worked as a respiratory therapist for 30 years pounding cement hospital floors, so shoes are important to me but they have to look good too! I usually buy one pair of walking shoes a Year and it's been Asic's but while they're a great walking shoe, they're into bright neon colors so decided to switch. These caught my eye so ordered them. I have to say they are a GREAT pair of walking shoes! I walk only a mile or so a day, but my feet do great in these and I highly recommend them. I will probably be a repeat customer.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these shoes! I have horrible plantar fasciitis and normally only wear the Dansko XP clogs or Vionic Orthaheel flip flops. I needed a shoe to exercise in. I can wear then for 12+ hours/day and my feet feel great the next morning. I've been taking 3+ mile walks without issue as well. I got another pair just this week and wore them for a 3.25 mike walk right out of the box! No breaking in required.

I love these sneakers. I had to exchange my normal size 37 for the larger size 38. I have a narrow foot but the overall length was too small for my normal size.

The first time I wore these shoes I wore them to work. I am a nurse and on my feet all day. I LOVED THEM !! Straight out of the box they were comfortable . I am ordering a 2nd pair in the blue. Cannot say enough about them. Great support,great looks and as always. Dansko makes a great shoe!! As always- Zappos you are the BEST!

I have an on-my-feet-standing-on-a-hard-surface job, and these shoes are up to it. They're cute and not at all orthopedic looking. I wish that they had even more arch support though since I have flat feet.

I have a bunion on my left big toe and have had plantar fasciitis and wear several of the Dansko shoes so I decided to try these. The mesh type fabric in the upper toe gives room for the bunion and the arch support is great. I do low impact aerobics and walk in these and have been very happy with them.

Love these shoes! They have great arch support -- just what I was looking for to help with my plantar fasciitis. I wore them on a trip to Europe and did a lot of walking and was so glad I had them. The slip-resistant sole is also wonderful. And they are so cute! Thanks, Dansko and Zappos!

Love these shoes! I have "difficult" feet, my toes always rub together, and these gave me the wiggle room I need. Am going to buy another pair.

These shoes are wonderful. The insole can be removed for easy washing and airing, or swapping out for custom insoles. They seem to have good breathability; and as always with Dansko shoes, the arch support is great. I love the blue/green coloring as well. People at work were eyeing them, and asking where to buy a pair.

These Dansko shoes are the most comfortable slip-resistant shoes I have found yet. I spend many 10 hour days in a restaurant and they work very well on wet floors and have support and bounce to them. I highly recommend them as a good work shoe. I have worn them for 2 months and you can hardly tell it. I like them so well that I now have 3 pairs.

I was a Finn Comfort only shoe person and they are great shoes...but the cost! Wow. So I tried Dansko. I have been very happy with the shoes and the price. I bought the tennis shoe and the clogs. I was extremely happy with them. Now I am going to try the sandals. Very comfortable shoe.

The shoes fit well and feel comfortable. I wear a size 10 wide and the size 41fits perfectly. I wear them at work where I work as a nurse. The black with blue and pink trim matches my uniform. I think the shoes look cute.

I am so very pleased with my Dansko Shaylas. I was a little hesitant about spending so much money on a pair of walking shoes, but now I am a believer. They are worth every penny, since they make my feet feel wonderful whenever I wear them. I take at least active good dog walks a day, covering a total of five miles a day. These shoes are by far, the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever worn. I am seriously thinking of ordering another pair in a different color so that I can rotate between the two of them.

I have been on a journey looking for comfortable walking shoes. I was just about to "settle" for a big name brand that still were not quite the comfort level that I need, then I found these and feel that the comfort far surpasses any other walker that I have ever purchased. Thank you Dansko!

I bought the Blue/Nubuck. Spent more than I wanted to but Dansko quality great. Love the color selection. I tried many from pricey up and these feel like you're not even wearing shoes.

Beautiful shoe, but the size is smaller than stated...a 43 is really 11.5 to 12 rather than 12.5 to 13. Unfortunately too small for me.

Very cute shoe. Oddly shaped for an exercise shoe, and especially for a Dansko. The toe is narrow and slopes in, making my toes feel a bit squished. But I wouldn't want it to be longer. Too bad -- very cute.

Fantastic comfortable sneaker. They actually mold to my foot providing great arch support and feel like they are custom made for my foot. Very happy with my purchase.

Dansko has another winner! I was so happy to find a shoe that looks like an athletic shoe, but still has the reliable Dansko footbed. Very comfortable shoe, true to size, no breaking-in needed! Will be buying another pair!

Really comfortable. Love the colors. Nice shoe for the gym. Not a 'cushy' feel but firmer foot support which is what I need. Zappos continues to be the best source for fun and easy shopping! Thank you Zappos!

The shoe was very nice and comfortable. I was not sure of size so I ordered a larger size than I normally wear. They were too big.

I love Dansko shoes and have many sandals and one pair of white clogs for work. I bought these Shaylas in white to wear while I'm walking in the hospital for hours, as my white clogs are a little warm, and these are mesh and should be cooler. I normally wear a 39 in the sandals but bought a 40 and 41 in this shoe, after reading that others thought they ran small. The 40 is perfect for my wide foot and gives me some toe room. They fit a little different than normal sneakers being lower on the top of the foot but I think they'll be super comfortable. I love the arch support and the cushiony sole. Oh, and they came with yellow and white laces.

I wanted to share that not only do the shoes fit the same as the Danskos I have always worn, but i did not experience any squeaking or issues with that whatsoever. I purchased the black with pink/purple and I have gotten a number of compliments on them, as well, even from my teenage daughter and her friend! So they are stylish and comfortable. I highly recommend them.
