I suffered a broken foot years ago and have a lot of trouble with that foot. These shoes are Awesome. Put them on to go on long walks Day 1 and never looked back. Totally comfortable and supportive and they are wearing well. I did have to return the first pair because they run about a half size small. Dansko is all I can wear because of my foot and this is the first time I have had to go up a size.

The shoes are great in every way. However, I would suggest you check Amazon before you purchase. After purchasing 2 pairs of these shoes from Zappos, I found the same shoes on Amazon for a pair cheaper.

This is my second pair of Shaylas. I put many miles on my first pair, with all the dog walks I do throughout the day. They are by far, the most comfortable walking shoes, I ever purchased. I normally do not spend so much on shoes, but these Dansko Shaylas, are worth every penny. I just got back from a Hawaiian cruise. Even though, I took sandals along, I wore my Shaylas throughout each and every day. They were perfect for walking around the ship's deck and for all the shore excursions I took. I always felt safe, secure and comfortable walking in them. As soon as I got back, I ordered another pair, just as my back up pair, so whenever these shoes are ready to be retired, I have my next pair of Shayla's ready to hit the pavement.

Love this shoe! Wonderful arch support, comfortable and good looking. I use to walk about 18-20 miles per week.

I am a nurse and I have never been able to wear Dansko clogs due to my large foot size(12 women's)and my foot just never seemed to fit right in the clog. I have always worn a name brand tennis shoe at work but thought I would give these Dansko Shayla's a try. I am on my feet 10 + hours a day. This shoe is slightly heavier then the tennis shoe I normally wear but the support in the arch is HEAVEN!! When I take these Dansko's off at night, my feet feel good, foot swelling is minimal and my feet feel wonderful! Definitely a great shoe for people on their feet a lot.

These shoes were to small. I order one size up and they are fantastic! Lots of support exactly where my old tired feet needs it.

I love these shoes but I take a 10½ not 10½-11 and this is just too big. Unfortunately Dansko does not make half sizes this is just half a size too big.

I wear a woman's 12 shoe and have facsiitis. I've had alot of trouble finding the right shoe. This is the one for me. I bought two pairs, 1/2 size larger. My orthodics fit inside and they are a dream to wear right from the start. I did buy up a half size so purchased the 12.5. I could wear them all day from the moment I opened the box. The colors are vibrant. They are the most light weight shoe I own but give enough support to even wear without orthodics. But, I'm not going to try it. I bought really bright low cut socks to match the shoes. One in blue/greens and the other in pinks and orange. For large feet this shoe looks short. I love them! Yay to Zappos!

Love this shoe! I had been desperately trying to replace an ancient pair of earth shoes (purchased back when they made quality shoes) and finally found these. They have the arch support I require, are not too high in the heel, and have plenty of room for my arthritic toes. Well done Dansko!

I LOVE these shoes! They are very comfortable and they fit perfectly. The additional arch support really helps my painful neuropathy-laden feet. The color I chose helps me see my way in the dark, they are so bright! I love 'em, love em, love 'em!

Since this is my first pair of Danskos It has taken me a little while to get used to them. I was told to look into their clogs by my MD after I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis. Because of this it takes a little bit to get used to new shoes to see if they have the proper support for your individual foot/feet. I am liking them so far, but decided they are just too cute to wear at work. Ordered a different pair for work. My feet are having good days and bad days depending on what I am doing/how long standing...Better review should be written in a few months.. But really nice so far.

The best walking/athletic shoe I have ever bought. Very comfortable and supportive. Great looking, get compliments almost every time I wear them.

These are REAL walking shoes - they are built to be flexible at the ball of the foot instead of the format of a running shoe. Best of all they are jazzy looking. I'm recovering from 2 hip replacewmewnts abd walking is my main form of exercise and these don't look like old lady shoes. Yea!!

I love these shoes! They are the only sneakers that I can wear without my feet hurting. I have plantar fasciitis and I love Dansko!

I bought these for a trip to Disney in Orlando- I have weak arches and tend to get very achy feet when walking a lot. I normally wear a size 9, but had return these for a 9 1/2, which fit perfectly. Great arch support, no pain at all after walking many hours for 3 days at the Disney Parks. :) Looks great too!

This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I bought them for long walks, but I wear them everywhere with casual clothes. I picked this particular style because all the reviews said excellent arch support. I have very high arches, and they give me the support I need. It's a good looking shoe as well.

An excellent sport and walking shoe. I am 71 years old and just took a 28 day walk through Europe in this shoe. Never tired!

Very happy with these and so glad to find Dansko sneakers! I have arthritis in one knee and was on my feet most of the day at work. I usually wore Dansko Professionals because they really helped prevent knee pain. These athletic shoes seem to do the same thing for me as the professionals. I wanted something I could wear to walk the dogs without aggravating the knee, and these worked out great! Very comfortable, good support, and they don't look like old lady shoes! It only took a day to break in and get used to the fit. The heel does slip a little, but that's how my Dansko clogs fit, too. I just tighten up the laces and good to go!

I'm on my feet all day at work so comfortable shoes are a must. These provide a fair amount of support, but not excellent. The soles seem to be wearing very well. The fabric on the inside of the ankle has started to wear which is disappointing considering the price. The fabric started to wear after only two months. I previously had a pair of Asics and they took much longer to show wear.

These are the best "sneaker" for comfort. I love the playful colors too. Thank you Zappos for having them and sending them so quickly after my order. They are staying here with me so don't wait for them to return! So cute and comfy!

LOVE these shoes. Perfect for long walks. I have worn Dansko clogs for years and these shoes bring comfort to a whole new level!

I have been waiting to find a walking/jogging shoe that I can wear that isn't "mush" for my poor high arches! These have great arch support, but are still light weight and flexible. I now wear my Professionals all week long and my Shaylas all weekend. I love Danskos and Zappos!

I had been debating on getting these sneakers ever since they came out, but I wanted to try them on in a store before I bought them. I couldn't find them anywhere around where I live.I saw them on another site on sale so I ordered them. I have severe plantar fasciitis, the main reason I was wanting to try before I bought. These sneakers are fantastic for plantar fasciitis! I wore them in the house quite a bit before wearing them outside. My first day out, I wore them all day. My feet should have been hurting a little bit the next morning because I was on them all day. They weren't hurting at all. This is the best pair of sneakers I have ever worn! I ordered my regular Dansko size in these. The fit was perfect. I am going to order another pair in case Dansko doesn't keep making this style.

The first time I bought the Shayla style, it took about a week to adjust to, though my second pair had no adjustment period whatsoever. I wear these every day to work to stand, walk, move, and lift in, and they are by far my most comfortable shoes yet. I like these a lot better than my Dansko clogs.

These shoes are exceptionally well made. The inside has a lovely soft lining across the top of the shoe making it very comfortable. There are no rough edges. They are lightweight while being somewhat waterproof. They run a little big. I'd buy this brand again.
