These shorts are fine if you can get them on sale for $15-$20/pair. They are not worth the full price. The fabric is very thin so it stains very easily and the lighter colors become transparent when wet. The sizing is not at all consistent, so trying these on is a must. The stitching/seams in the pockets is very weak, so expect tears at the bottom of each pocket with normal use. These are definitely not "outdoor" shorts; they are more suitable for casual wear and you coudl expect them to last for one season.

Columbia: If you want to reduce costs be smarter. Dont compromise the quality of your products. Too thin. I will return it.

These shorts are really nice , But they run a bit larger than is marked , mine are marked 40 inches , but when measured they are about 42 .

My husband likes the weight of the shorts and the fabric. The weight of the fabric is great for our hot Southern summers. The only thing he doesn't like is you can't purchase these in a 35. The 34 waist is a little tight and the 36 is a little loose. Other than that he likes them.

Nothing special really, but I like the material OK, fit is casual, note back pockets use velcro.

I ended up returning the shorts as they didn't fit well. Fabric and color are very nice! This was the second pair I received in my size, strange how the gray ones fit great, but both blue pairs were too big!

They run a little small. Good looking and good quality.

Nice and lightweight for a cotton fabric. Only drawback is that the light color shows wrinkles easily.

The shorts are nice and light, but the "sage" color is not like the picture at all. The image shows a dark tan color and in real life, they are a dark, earthy green. This actually makes more sense as far as the sage plant goes, but the color as pictured is quite a ways off from the actual product.
