I even sized up on this and found it to run very small thru the shoulders and sleeves.

I was standing in the rain for a while. When I finally took it off my entire short was drenched from the rain. It wasnt water repellent or water resistant. I always believe in columbia in all my coats i purchase and this is the first time im very disappointed because i bought 2 different rain coats different colours.

This is a great jacket for the rain if you are going out to run errands or if you are going out for a jog or maybe to walk the dog. I bought a 3XL in the plus size and I'm happy I have enough room to put my thick sweater on under it.

I got the waterfall color and it is a pretty color. The 2x size fits good except the arm length; too short. I don't know why when you go to a 2x instead of a XXL they think your arms shrink?! Now for the 2 huge design flaws. 1. The pockets are not waterproof lined they are only mesh so when I reach for my keys and/or phone and it's pouring down rain my shirt on the inside of the jacket gets wet, like real wet! Also I wonder about the durability of the pockets because they are just a thin mesh. 2. The cuffs are velcro adjusted so when you have the fabric folded over to make the cuff smaller and raise your arm any the water travels into the jacket. It would of been better if it were elastic. So if you DON'T use your pockets and keep your arms down this will keep you dry!

Jacket plus size 2 perfect fit. Stay dried in downpour. But cold. No insulation at all. I'll keep it for warmer days. But need now to order another coat.

Very nice color! The only thing is when it comes to plus size there is no shape to it. It's just kind of boxy.

I wanted to love this jacket but it's just poorly made. The material is very flimsy... something to be kept in the car for a rain emergency. It will not last long enough to wear daily. Very disappointed!

Bigger at the hips but the arm width is way too small, I couldn't fit a long sleeve shirt underneath.

I'm admittedly choosy. I'm just not understanding this rain jacket. Instead of snaps, there are Velcro strips all down the front. It's sharp, hard to open, and snags EVERYTHING else you are wearing. It's mid hip length means it's ineffective as a rain jacket, and it's one way zipper is sure to get torn out at the bottom every time you get in or out of a car or climb a steep step. The color is gorgeous, but as a coat it just doesn't work.

The sleeves really are too small. I bought a 3x and it fits great around the mid section. But these aren't not 3x sleeves. I'm gonna keep it just because I can put it on and it looks ok.... but I'm not happy about my purchase. I really wanted to buy another one and even a coat from Columbia but I'm not going to. I'll look elsewhere.

I should have heeded the comments made by other reviewers regarding the fit. Yes, the upper arms are too tight. I am a plus-size woman, and the jacket fits fine everywhere else, except for the upper arms. I cannot wear it comfortably.

Sleeves are too short. General fit is large, other than the sleeves - I sized up per other reviews and I should not have. No tailoring to the shape at all, no unique features. The waterproofing is effective and I like the high neck when using the hood. I returned due to sizing issues.

I thought I was buying a winter jacket, not a windbreaker. So I am returning it.

I should have listened to the other reviewers, it does run small. I got a 3X and while I can zip it, its way to tight in the shoulders and arms. On the plus side, I bought blue and geranium and the colors are beautiful.

I do like the jacket but the upper arms are so narrow that it restricts movement, you can't even move your arms in the jacket. I am sad it didn't fit well because the price was great.

I'm sure this jacket functions well, due to the quality of the product. I ordered a ruby red in hopes of candy apple or something close to, and I got a pink/red jacket. Not a pink person at all, had to return it.

I bought this jacket 2 sizes larger than i wear (I like a jacket to be loose over my clothes), but when I received it, it fits like a glove...so it's too small. Also, the other day it was raining hard and I thought, oh great, I can check out my jacket's weatherproofing....well I was soaked when I got home. I don't know what you mean by weatherproof, but it certainly isn't waterproof. Where every seam was, I was soaked.

I LOVE THIS JACKET ONLINE SO DECIDED TO ORDER THE PRODUCT. I READ SOME REVIEW ON THE PRODUCT BEFORE ORDERING. IT FIT VERY SMALL. THE MATERIAL IS EXTREMELY LIGHT AND THIN. THE JACKET IS ONLY GREAT FOR SPRING OR WARM DAYS. THE BIGGEST CON IS THAT IS IS EXTREMELY SMALL. EVEN WEARING A SWEATER OR LONG SLEEVE SHIRT IT PRETTY TIGHT. IT IS NOT TRUE TO SIZE AT ALL. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON PRODUCT.

I have several Columbia jackets and all are the same size. This one runs considerably smaller. If you order this jacket, order a size larger than you normally would. I can't comment on anything else as I've already returned it.

This jacket is not cut appropriately to size. The arms were tight and I have never had that problem with any other jacket before. Also, I was expecting a liner and one was not in there.

I got this love the color, it fit fine just tight around the arms and arm pit area. Had to return it because of that issue. I hope when they make a new version a little more room in the upper arm area.

It was time to replace my 10 yr old Columbia rain resistant jacket. After so many years of satisfaction, I decided to reorder the same one. Sadly, the new jacket is no longer sized the same and I had to return it. Since I couldn't find a local retail store and had to order by mail, I had to go with a different brand.
