LIke other reviewers mentioned, this jacket is cut slim. Normally wear 1X but ordered up to have room for fleece and sweatshirts underneath. I could not zip the jacket. So disappointed because it’s exactly what I wanted for color and style.

My recommendation is to buy a size down if this will be used in summer as a rain coat...it is super big in 3x. I'm keeping it due to the low price and I can just use it in winter with a puffer under it ... I might look like a pale plum when I fill up the space but I'll be warm and dry...win win

If you want to wear anything under this jacket, buy a size up

I received this jacket, it's gorgeous in color and looks to be great function. But definitely go up a size or two.

I love the quality but I wish I would have ordered this jacket a 2X instead of a 1X.

Colored looked off and the material is very noisy. Inter lining come out at the cuffs.

I have had my eye on this jacket for a long time, and when it went on sale, I was really excited. Unfortunately, when it arrived, I found out the arm holes are too small for my arms. I wear 3x comfortably in a number of other products, but I couldn't get this on over my upper arms. If you're a plus size gal with wide upper arms, this might not work for you! Fit okay elsewhere, but my arms were crushed, and therefore I couldn't even tell if it would fit my shoulders.

The body of the jacket is true to size but the arms need more room, especially considering this jacket would most likely be used over thicker clothing. I would also like the zipper to zip up from the bottom as well as down from the top given the jacket's length.

Really like this jacket, but it runs very small! I like enough room to have option to wear sweatshirt or a couple thin layers under rain jacket. Reordered next size up, and that isn't all that much bigger. But kept it anyway because I like the jacket.

This is a great looking rain jacket, seems really well made, and the dark raspberry color is just gorgeous. Unfortunately, I had to return the jacket. It was just to snug around my arms. There was no way i could wear this jacket with any kind of layers underneath. Very sad, but I'll try other Columbia raincoats until I find the right one .

This jacket seems to be made well and I loved the color (so can't really judge on the quality or function because I never got past trying it on). I bought it a little big to make sure that it would fit over more than a t-shirt. I tried it on and it fits around but it is too snug in the arms and across my back (and this was wearing just a cami). A larger size would be way too big everywhere else. Oh well - had to return

This jacket runs a little small but its a great jacket. Great for rainy days and if you're running around and need a light jacket.

It's kinda tight around the armpit area I got the size 1x so i would recommend sizing two sizes up if u want a comfertable fit .. I would def return my 1x for a 2x maybe 3x .. light weight

I am normally a 1x in most coats, but when i got a 1x in this i could just barely zip it. I would suggest going a size up.

The fit and look of this jacket were great. True to size, and I was able to get warm layers underneath. I use this jacket mostly for hiking and snowshoeing. When hiking I found the big flaw is it is missing pit zips for ventilation, so event though it is advertised as breathable It became very uncomfortable on a warmer wet hike. It keeps the rain out great, but not great for spring/warmer weather hikes where it is wet out as the heat gets trapped inside.

The jacket runs small in the shoulders otherwise would have been a good fit and quality jacket. Will most likely return due to size

I'm not sure use recommend this if you're tall because it just didn't work for me

I really wanted to love this jacket. It's cute and functional, and of course, well made. But it was waaaay too small across the arms and back. Unfortunately, I'll have to send it back, thus the 3 star review.

I ordered a 3X after reading other reviews. (My normal size is 2X.) However, the arms are much too tight to be able to wear anything under it. Columbia needs to make the arms larger!

The jacket was the style I wanted, but the material in the hood ruined it for me. When I tried the jacket on , I couldn't even get the hood to lay down in the back. The material is too hard and crinkly sounding. I also prefer a jacket that has a removable hood or one you can roll up into a zippered collar. It just wasn't worth the price for me, and I returned it. I have other Columbia jackets and love them all. This is the first time I wasn't satisfied.

This product was not what I expected. The jacket is very thin (similar to a windbreaker), it will not keep you warm in weather below 55 degrees. The sleeves were short for me (I'm 5'10 and the measurements from my the top of my shoulder to wrist is 24 inches). And the length of the jacket at the waist seems short. On the positive side, the pockets are big and the jacket folds/rolls into a small size which is nice for travel. The shoulder area is snug. Overall, I would recommend buying a size up for comfort and layering purposes. I personally would not purchase the jacket again unless they lengthen the arms and waist area of the jacket.

Liked everything about this jacket except that it was too tight under the arms. The armhole is not deep enough, and since I need to be able to put it over a sweater if it's cool, I have no choice but to return it.

Great jacket. It was way too noisy for what I was Looking for. Very crinkly. I really just want a rain jacket that has a light but warm lining and a hood. You would think that would be easy to find but it's not. Especially in plus size :( Oh well, the search goes on!

I liked the sizing and the quality, but the color was a tad disappointing. Bright Rose is actually Fuchsia Pink. Its slightly tacky.
