Great light weight jacket for weather that is wet or windy. The one received is a bit small in the shoulders and the inner sleeves easily move past the hand opening so it is necessary to readjust after putting it on. If used as a backup jacket it is perfect. It is very nice looking.

I read the reviews of this product prior to purchasing. A couple people said it ran a little small, so I ordered a size larger than I normally would to have extra room over other clothes and outdoor wear. With that in mind, it fits well. Someone else mentioned that the velcro fasteners were kind of a pain. I think they will end up driving me crazy too. I felt this was the best raincoat in it's class all things considered.

I wanted a Columbia jacket because I had purchased a Columbia winter coat for my daughter. She loves it and it kept her warm even in the -20 degree temps. This jacket, I am sure, will do fine when it starts to rain in Late spring and summer. I am, however, not convinced that it will do a better job than my other spring weather Cover ups- It is too soon to tell.

Finally a raincoat that fits properly over my wide hips! It's a much nicer jacket than I expected, perfect fit and very lightweight.#sweepstakes

I have too many black jackets and coats so I needed something nice for spring. This snowdrift color is a light lavender, which I hoped from seeing it online. I own quite a bit of Columbia clothing, jackets, and coats. Its a quality brand that I can depend on.

This is a beautiful jacket more purple than blue! Good fit and very flattering (plus sized.). I was very pleased!

I bought this a month ago to use while commuting this fall and it has Not met expectations at all. The biggest issues are the zippers are constantly stuck on the fabric - both the main zipper and the pockets and the hood is practically useless. The hood only works if there is no wind at all. The second any wind happens it becomes a funnel that just pulls all the rain onto your head, neck and shoulders. No way to tie it down tighter or fit to your head. Rendering the coat pretty useless except for a lightest of sprinkles.

3X smaller than my other Columbia 2X in arms..went a size up to b able to wear a sweater. It's smaller than my other 2X

This is a nice lightweight jacket. The navy is a good color too. I ordered the same I do for all my clothes, but this was disappointingly too snug around the hips.

I bought this jacket in light blue and loved it so much I just bought another one in black. It keeps you very dry and warm when layering . No need to carry a bulky jacket around all day when you dont need a jacket until evening.

looks good quality but sizing is very off// ordered a 3X which is what I order all my jackets in from Columbia I have over 10-15 jackets but the sizing on this one is off around the shoulder area and even the hips/ not a good fit

I'm 5'7", and I generally wear 16/18. I typically have worn the men's jackets from Columbia, but as I've aged I wanted to have a little more room in the curves so I tried this women's jacket. Unfortunately these arms are not for tall people. ... Technically speaking, the issue is in the shoulders/armpits, as I understand it from my seamstress mother. The arms are fine when your arm is down, but the moment you lift your arms the sleeves become too short as there's not enough space in the arms. If you like that for fashion purposes, this won't bother you at all. But if you're like me and just don't want to get wet in the PNW, then these sleeves aren't great. ... Significantly worse when worn over a sweatshirt.

Color and jacket are great but it needs more of an A line. If one is a 3x, the probability is they need more for their hips

It was time to replace my 10 yr old Columbia rain resistant jacket. After so many years of satisfaction, I decided to reorder the same one. Sadly, the new jacket is no longer sized the same and I had to return it. Since I couldnt find a local retail store and had to order by mail, I had to go with a different brand.

The material and thecolor of the jacket was great. However, the length of the arms was too short. I had to give this to my daughter who is shorter-and was pregnant-since the arm length was perfect for her.

This jacket looks perfect for my Ireland/Scotland trip this summer. I ordered a 2X which is bigger than my normal size, and I can't zip it at the bottom. I don't want to order a 3X since it will be way too big at the top. I'm going to keep it, just knowing that I won't be able to zip it at any point in my life! LOL!

I can wrap the coat around me 1 and 1/2 times but the arms are about 2-3 inches to short. Have not used so quality is still up in the air but debated too long about whether I could deal with the arm length so no longer returnable

It runs small and the color is not as vibrant in real life. It looked very boxy on me and I returned it. It has a one way zipper. Otherwise it was nice quality and looks like it would hold up. It's a wind/ rain jacket.

I liked the material and how lightweight it was. I wish that the material in the back had a bit more stretch.

This jacket runs small, it said on the web site, so they recommended I order a size up. WHich I did, and then when it arrived it was HUGE. So disappointed... be sure order the usual size you wear.

Nice rain jacket, protection from the elements was good but the zipper pulls are very flimsy and thin.

The picture looks purple but what I got was a magenta color. Also I always order a size up as Columbia stuff runs small and this was more true to size; too big. Other than that it is a good quaity coat. I have had one for 10 years and had to replace it because the zipper pull broke. IT is the same high quality Columbia always is. I only gave 3 stars d/t misrepresentation of color and change is sizing.

I typically wear a 2x. I had to send that one back and size up to the 3x. Even though its 3, there is not that much extra room. It fits like a 2x. So be warned.

Nice jacket, but not 2 way zipper is a huge miss on this rain jacket.
