My wife loves this hat. It covers both her shoulders and is cool during our very hot summer this year. Would highly recommend it to any woman looking for better shade. Recommend to measure your head prior to getting the hat to ensure proper fit.

I got the white hat. It looks really nice and elegant. The s/m size fits perfect on me. The cord feature helps a lot when windy.

This hat is flattering and I usually look terrible in a hat. I wanted sun protection with a not-so-wide brim that blows off when sailing. I'll use this hat for water, land, and everyday activities. Thank you for the chin strap. It is perfect!

All I can say is that I love this hat. I think is the best hat I've ever owned. Very stylish and protects me from the sun. I was very hesitant when I order it. I thought it might be too much of a hat for me but..all my doubts when away when I tried it. I am so happy I bought it !!! It's perfect for afternoon walks with my dog, for going to the farmers market, for gardening, or for the beach.

Great hat for out on the canoe in the Florida keys. Keeps the sun off my face and neck.

I love this hat! It's perfect for everyday wear, and quite comfortable. Keeps my head and face protected from the sun with a brim that isn't too large or cumbersome. I also love that it comes in several colors, and just may purchase a few more!

I have a small head and was looking for a well-fitting sun hat that wouldn't drop down to my ears. The s/m size of this hat was still slightly larger than I liked, but serves the purpose very well. It survived my suitcase without losing shape, the handy strap kept it on my head in windy weather, it was comfortable and the brim held up without flopping or sagging. It looks good, although not quite as fashionable as I really wanted for a cruise. I tried several other hats and the more stylish ones lacked substance and would have blown off my head so I'm content with this hat from Columbia. Well worth the price!

Hat arrived in perfect condition. It is a lot darker that it looks online, but this is preferable! I love the chin strap for keeping it on when it's windy. It is a very classic looking hat that fits my minimalist style perfectly while keeping the sun off my face.

Love that this hat was available in my size (L/XL). It fits sleeker than a one-size adjustable hat would. Nice wide brim, perfect for sunny days. I would not call this hat "packable" as it wouldn't recover from being crushed. This hat is a step dressier from the Booney hats, and would look perfect with a sundress.

The hat is exactly as depicted. The color is beautiful, the fit is good and it looks great on my head!!!

This is the functional yet classic hat I've been looking for. I wear it on walks in windy Oklahoma. The wind will blow the brim upwards, but I never have a problem with it flying off. It's great! I haven't tried packing it, but it came in good shape and has survived being handled by an inquisitive toddler. My one complaint is that it doesn't shade me quite as well as my fabric hat, which I think has a deeper crown and slightly droopier brim. It's good enough for moderate wear, though. Obviously, if I was planning on hiking a mountain, I'd leave this one behind.

I am flying to my granddaughter's wedding, and wanted a "packable" hat to wear, as it is an outdoor wedding and I wanted protection from the sun, as well as something that looked good. This hat fits the bill perfectly. I wore it for my afternoon walk one day this week, and the leather tie kept it in place even when the wind was blowing. I plan to tuck the tie inside the hat for the wedding (unless it is windy!). It is very becoming and well-made. Well worth the price!

This is a great hat. It's versatile, comfortable, and provides very good coverage. Other SPF hats can easily run $50+, so this is a better value, too.

Loved the fit and size of the brim to shade my face in the desert sun. I would recommend this hat for anyone seeking protection for face & neck.

This is a great hat. I ordered it for a beach trip, and this was smushed into my suitcase and then my beach bag multiple times and kept its shape well. It also held up to water really well. This will be a high-use sun hat for me! I did find the band to be a little tight, even though I measured my head and confirmed that my measurement fell into the hat measurements.

Love, liove, love this hat. It fits well and truly blocks the hot sun here in FL. Not too heavy, in fact, it is light-weight. Great protection and very fashionable. I ordered 2 in the nocturnal color-one for a friend. At this price, it makes a great gift. My husband thinks I have a big head, so I ordered the L/XL and it really fits well. It maintains its shape as well. Hope this helps! Buy it, you won't be sorry!

I really like this hat - Got it in the "nocturnal" color - I haven't previously seen an SPF 50 sun hat in such a great color with a wide brim and chin strap that actually looks stylish - But this hat has all those qualities. I definitely recommend it.

Great purchase! I took this hat to sunny New York and it was just perfect. It truly does protect you from the sun. The navy blue is pretty neutral and it looks dressy yet casual. I received tons of compliments from men and women. I love this hat!!

This hat is awesome, I purchased it for a trip to Utah & it didn't disappoint. Overall I have packed it, hiked in it, taken it to the pool, done some gardening, and it is about to go to the beach with me. The material is sturdy, very packable & able to return to it's original shape after unrolling. The strap is great for windy days. I'm in love with this hat!

Purchased as a gift for a friend. She was very pleased with the hat and a matching scarf that went with it. Bought a second hat for myself in the coral color. I have a large head and the hat fit perfectly. Packing wrinkles come out in an hour or so.
