I bought this for my mom who is plus size and hated the way how some women's coats looked on her. I found this and chose the Pine Green color for her rain coat, all I have to say is that she LOVES it! Usually when she has to find a coat, all the ones she finds in her size are always in black and she loves this shade of green. It fits just right for her.

This jacket is great for those that need just a little warmth.

Purchased this jacket for a trip to Ireland. The jacket was perfect. Fit as I had hoped and kept me dry the entire time. We walked the Cliffs of Moher three times from the fishing village of Doolin to the Cliffs visitor center (3hr walk). Rain and sun mix were the norms. Weight and quality of jacket could not have been better. The jacket was the best investment I made for the trip.

If you're looking for a lightweight waterproof jacket, this one is as good as advertised. I was worried about being too warm in the jacket when I'm not out in the elements (like waiting in a subway station) but that really hasn't been the case so far. Also, the very large side pockets are a plus. I will say that it does run a bit large (I bought the same size as my Columbia winter coat which fits true to size), especially the hood, so be aware.

I am a 3XL and it is difficult to find a jacket for a big man that has style and hasn't just been pattern-graded up from a slim style. This jacket is one of the best I have ever owned and completely waterproof. I will buy other colors and you should too!

So, I am bit on the heavy side but the sizing, to my relief, was spot on. It functions as desgined...keeps the inner clothes dry even in a downpour. I am pleased because it did what I wanted it to do. The price was great and I like supporting a local company. As for the technical side: the zipper is smooth and efficient, no jerking necessary. The hood works great and it has functional pockets. What's not to like about this jacket?

I bought this jacket one size up from what I normally wear just to make sure it would fit because of ordering online, I normally wear a 3X but I got a 4X and it fits just right it's not to big. I've already had the chance to use it in the rain and it work just like they say it does. I love how light weight it is, it makes it feel like you aren't even wearing it. I'm thinking about buying another one in a different color.

Great jacket. Light weight go anywhere jacket. Great styling and comfort. Will be great on the boat or golfing. Love it.

I have only owned this jacket for about a week now but, it has already saved me in a sudden rain storm. Just as I was leaving work, the skies opened up and poured every ounce of moisture the clouds had been holding that day. I had received this jacket in the mail only the day prior to replace my previous rain jacket that was a pretty heavy one that utilized Gore-Tex. I love Gore-Tex but, it can get mighty hot and sweaty under a garment using it as the membrane. Again, that previous jacket was made for colder weather. This day was a warmer day and I had luckily tossed my new Columbia Watertight II into my backpack as a precaution. This jacket is perfect for a warmer climate rainy day. It is lightweight but, by no means is it wimpy in the face of weather created adversity. This jacket took everything weather threw at it and more. I had to walk a good distance that day, while carrying a heavy backpack full of work-related stuff. I really like that this Watertight II has a mesh lining; I've found that most jackets that have the raw membrane material inside tend to become annoying and sweaty as time goes on. The more activity you do in jackets like that make life miserable sometimes. With a mesh lining, the end user has a better experience with the jacket because it will not stick to the skin and it does reduce sweat significantly. True to Columbia's word, it is 100% waterproof in my limited usage. I completely believe that this jacket will not have any issues in the future. I totally rely on Columbia products and have never had a reason to mistrust them. They have never steered me in the wrong direction.

Was looking for a packable, lightweight raincoat that fit! I'm 6'6" tall and this is perfect! Love the bright red too.

did a great job keeping me dry legs got wet but you don't get chilled with wet legs

This was a little thicker than what I expected but will work for cool days in the fall & spring. Packable into a pocket to use for travelling. Would recommend.

I like to give thing a chance to work or fail before reviewing them. Now it's 2 years of use and it's in great shape. I'm 6' 6" so sleeve length is important. On a rain jacket, body length is also important. Both are generous on this jacket. The color hasn't faded and when it's red, many times it will fade early, or fade on one side and not the other. This jacket is in great shape. Zippers, velcro, and all fasteners work . Smart zipper pockets zip from top down so any item in the pocket is more likely to be retained. Highly recommended.

It is very light weight and provides great protection from the rain while allowing ease of movement . I would highly recommend this jacket. I also love the tall sizing as I am 6'7" and the length in body and sleeves is great! Thank you Columbia!

I am very happy with the light weight rain ware. I use it for when I am on the water fishing, it's light weight and comfortable. Great for wearing on cool days also. The rain wear was a gift from my wife and I'm happy she made the choice. I guess you could say I'm a happy customer.

Small, light, packable and red :) I bought this for a trip to Kauai, the rainiest spot in the world. Being from the mountains I had a bunch of heavy waterproof stuff but I needed something for tropical rain and this product was perfect. I am now using it for my summer mountain rain on my Grand Teton photography tours as well.
