GREAT RAINCOAT! True to size
and color. Hood fits well: can tighten
sides so it doesn't blow off and can
still see when walking. The underarm
zip vents ROCK. Never get sweaty
Love it. Love the color

Functions well even without typical PFA coating. I wore it in some Seattle area rain and it was great. Bought a medium to have a little room for layers (5'6" 115 lbs).

Light, packable and rainproof coat. Great to layer things under. Runs true to size. I like the longer length to cover to my hips. It's longer in the back too.

I bought this jacket to take on our fall trip to Europe expecting wind and rain. This was exactly what I needed! It is a wind and rain 'shell' so provides protection but no warmth but that's what I wanted. Rolled into a small bundle so easily tucked in my suitcase. Having a hood makes it even better!

Wore with the rain pants in pouring rain. Did not need a poncho. Worked very well.

This edition seems more waterproof than previous ones--this is my fourth. Wore it in a downpour in North Cascades; I stayed dry. Now if it came keep from de laminating as my previous ones did, I'll be happy. Marmot and/or RE
I always stood behind the product and replaced it.

I needed a lightweight rain jacket with a hood. This was the answer to my prayers! It's perfect! Hood has a folded visor, velcro on sleeves to keep out the rain. Wore it for 3 days in Durango, Colorado and on the narrow gauge railroad trip. Perfect weight, perfect conditions for its use! LOVE this color sky blue, too,

Great rain jacket! Light enough for travel, and smart looking. Rain beads off and keeps me dry. I usually wear a medium, but sized up so that I could wear it over a down jacket. The pull cord at the hem keeps it from looking too roomy at the hips, and it looks sharp even when I'm not layering.

My Precip Eco Jacket at Pico del Aguila, Mxico. It is so practical and light that you will not believe it. it does not represent a burden on your body or on your backpack. It is so practical that you easily store it in your backpack and it does not take up space. The material is completely waterproof and is reinforced at the seams. I highly recommend it!

Perfect rain jacket for college daughter - right weight for most temps, great light gray color, and nice longer length. Did order size up as we find women's Marmots to run a snug if wanting to leave room to layer.

I ran Run Rabbit Run 100 in Steamboat this weekend. Weather forecast turned on us this week and I wasn't confident in my old backpacking rain jacket with the possibility of thunderstorms/hail/snow. I found this jacket at a local shop in town the day before. The thunderstorms/hail/snow all hit during the race. This jacket performed perfectly and Kept me dry through the most prolonged exposure to extreme weather I've experienced. I couldn't be happier and may buy more.

The PreCip is the best. I own two and might have to buy another. The only difference is the color. I let my brother borrow my grey one and he doesn't want to give it back.
I'm going to buy him one.

This jacket keeps you dry and has great features. The high zip neck keeps out water and the hood functions just as it should. Has some degree of warmth in Fall weather and can be used as a shell over warmer non-waterproof jackets! Always in my outdoor gear!

I wear this jacket on rainy hikes and recently spent a rainy week salmon fishing in AK and this jacket was a perfect outer layer keeping me dry and protected from the wind

Marmot needs a better marketing team to highlight the usability of their products. The jacket looks so clean with the folded into the collar but the product description and coinciding images of the jacket do not show this. If you are looking for a daily shell, this jacket is premium.
