I've been wearing these shorts or a flavor of them for over 20 years....these are the best in form and functionality. I use the little tool pocket to store water and keys when I run... i work in these I wear them to run/hike, and they are amazingly comfortable for ALL leisure wear.

I bought a number of these shorts many years ago. They were my favorite shorts; enough so, that I wore out all but one those original pairs. Just ordered a few new pairs and... well they're awesome. The front hold most anything I need to carry around. I recently discovered the right back pocket is perfect for a smart phone.

I am 5'5" and need the shorter inseam which is very hard to find. These are perfect!

These are the only shorts my husband will wear. They are difficult to find in the local department stores, I order them on line. He says they are comfortable, wear well and the seams do not separate. I like them because they don't fade like most other shorts and are a good value for the money spent. When they are on sale I try to get 2-3 extra pairs since he lives in them just about year round.

Very comfortable and they have a side pocket with an elastic top that is perfect for placing your cell phone. I own six pairs and they are all I WEAR!!

The shorts are a comfortable fit and not stiff so allow for movement. Shorts fit true to size. They appear to be well made and a heavy enough material to provide long life. These are to replace Columbia shorts that are several years old and have finally worn through in a few places. I anticipate the service live of these will be similar.

I love the material these are made of. Very durable. They are short with a 7 inch inseam so beware of that. I have shorter legs so they work great for me. I hate shorts that go past my knees.

These shorts are great for everything from fishing to working to just hanging out around the pool

I have been wearing this type of short for many many years. For walking and hiking it is the most comfortable short and it has a special pocket off to one side that holds a cellphone securely and in a place where you don't sit on it and does not slap against you when hiking. This feature alone is worth the price, no one else has it.

Great looking and very comfortable. I bought these in two different colors: sage and navy, and I am already considering buying the third!

A little shorter than board shorts, soft fabric, great cut, and nice pockets create a great all day short!

These shorts fit perfectly and look great. I love all the pockets. They are well-made, but only time will tell how durable they are. I liked them so much, I bought two more in different colors.

Only brand of shorts my two sons will wear. They have several different styles and they are all very durable and high quality.

Wow I found some shorts from Columbia that finally fit like I want them to! The women's Sandy River shorts are too short for my taste. The medium is a little snug, and the large too big. These men's shorts fit perfectly, and I love the fabric too. I don't normally wear a small, but I guess with them being men's shorts that is the reason. I highly recommend these shorts ladies! I feel very good in these- covered up not too much but not too little either!
