I buy these shorts specifically for fishing ... in fact, I have four pairs. Yes, I fish a lot. The Brewha shorts are comfortable, move with you, and have ample pockets to keep small items handy. The "beverage friendly pocket" has elastic at the top and is perfect for a hook file, small pliers, forceps for unhooking fish, etc.

These are the best shorts I have and will being ordering more. Comfortable and lots of useful pockets.

The shorts are extremely light weight, dry quickly, have plenty of pockets and a cell phone pouch, and most importantly, are very comfortable and look great! I have not found a comparable pair of shorts, and I have bought them for gifts as well as for myself.

These shorts are soooo comfortable with the elastic waist section in the back. Bending and working are no problem wearing these shorts. And with the elastic just in the back portion, they don't look like 'old man' shorts.

They fit my 34" waist perfectly & are not tight at the hips. Hope they hold up over time as well as my older Columbia shorts, the fabric is a bit lighter.

This short is without a doubt the best in its class. the material is heavy and will take the abuse. I wear this short in every color and i like the 7'' inseam for my 5'8'' frame. My choice for over 15 years. Keep em coming!

I'm a vertically challenged guy (5'5"). Shorts with a short enough inseam are hard to come buy. Most shorts I've found with a 38" or 36" waist come with an inseam so long, the shorts reach way below my knees and I look ridiculous. These shorts look and feel great. The built-in stretch waisteband is the key to hiking comfort. The generously sized pockets are perfect for holding trail maps, protein bars, and pocket knives. I love to hike and the Brewha II is perfect for that. I've tried other brands but they just don't have the same fit. Columbia, please never stop making these shorts. They're the only ones I wear! I wear them until they are literally threadbare and then my wife makes me buy new ones. Frankly, when they are worn out, that's when they are at their best, like an old pair of fave blue jeans. Love my Brewhas!

My husband has 4 pairs of these shorts in all the colors. He absolutely loves them and gets a replacement when one wears out. He lives in these shorts in the summer.

I have been ordering and using the men's BrewhaII for many years - It is an excellent product and wears extremely well. I own quite a few pairs in various colors.

These shorts are exactly what my husband was looking for...cool, moisture wicking and perfect size and inseam length for bass fishing!

Easily my favorite shorts in my wardrobe and I rarely wear nothing but shorts from May to October in the Nebraska heat. Incredibly comfortable, stylish as well as being very durable (fading beautifully as they age), they are undoubtedly worth the purchase price. I only wish they came in more colors.

My husband absolutely loves these shorts. The velcro pockets allow him to keep his cash and change in them and when he sits down he doesnt have to worry about his money falling out a side pocket as with most shorts. Columbia is a brand we love and support. Their quality is of the highest material and workmanship. I highly recommend this brand. They are also cost efficient as far as comparing similar shorts to their brand.

Great shorts. A medium size is slightly large, so you may need a belt.

Shorts have a partial elastic waist which is a great feature for me as my weight has been fluctuating slightly. They don't fall off and will stretch a little if I pick up a few pounds that I had previously lost. These are a little shorter than I prefer but they aren't capri pants either. I bought several pair and have been happy so far.
