My PFG shorts are awesome. While I don't fish, they are great for people in the south who like to look good but stay cool and protected. So many pockets, which is great for fishing and general life... They run a little bit big as I am normally a Medium but got a small, but its not significant.

These are my go to everyday casual shorts. I own a ton of shorts as I live in NYC in the summer and winter in Florida...almost always wearing shorts. These are by far the most comfortable,long lasting and versatile shorts I own! I have four pairs and I'm buying more for sure.

These shorts are amazing. You can do just about anything in them. They are a little baggy around the thighs though. But all around great shorts.

These shorts look stylish enough to wear just about anywhere, yet have a lot of utility built into them. The extra pocket in the right rear is perfect for my cell phone and it's easy to retrieve once there. It's a little off to the side, so I don't sit down on my phone. Perfect! The pocket is supposedly for a beverage, but I put my water bottle in the left-side pocket. The Velcro on the cargo pockets keeps things secure on the sides, and the back left pocket where I keep my wallet has a zipper closure to keep it secure. They are made of heavy-duty cotton and retain their shape nicely. I have several pairs of these and they are the only shorts I wear. Thanks, Columbia!

Great all purpose shorts. I like the fact that they have a shorter inseam than most shorts on the market today.

I wear these shorts every day in spring-summer and early fall. I wish you made the same product in long pants so I would have something to wear in winter. Love the small side pocket, I use it for my cell phone. My only complaint is my first pair wore out after 2 years, the material just gave out. I must have wore them only 350 to 400 times. I was crushed until my local store got them back in stock. I now have new 2 pair.

Great shorts use the extra side pocket for my smartphone excellent fit.

There are two key features that I can't find in other sport/boating shorts. They are 1. the "D" ring on the front for the boat kill switch lanyard and 2. the "Brew" pocket which I use for my PLB (personal locator beacon.)

Comfortable, fit perfectly. Just the right length, nice pockets. I like everything about these shorts, this is my second go- around with them

Excellent fitting shorts. I am a bit on the chubby side and they really fit well in the seat and legs. These shorts will serve well for boating as I do a considerable amount of summer sailing. Great bang for the buck!

I've been buying sandals from Zappos in the past, but found out they sell these shorts as well at a good price with free delivery. I've had two pair in the past and they wear like iron. Very well made and super comfortable, casual or even nice enough for a night out on the town during the warmer months. Your wallet fits in the side pocket so it doesn't bother your hip when driving. A have a 34-35" inch waist, so Medium is perfect.

XL (42) fits comfortably also has elastic stretch if you need it. Well made and should last several years if properly cared for. Well made quality product.

I've been wearing the shorts for over a year now. They are made of an excellent material.I would definitely recommend them. They are very comfortable.

Received a pair of these shorts as a gift a number of years ago and they became my "go to" for most outdoor activities. They gradually became "work" shorts as they eventually wore out and probably weren't fit to be worn outside my yard. After a number of years they finally gave up the ghost and just got washed to death. Ordered a couple of new pair and was pleased to see the style and functionality had not changed and I had a new friend for outdoor and everyday wear. Particularly love the "water bottle pocket" that I have found works most excellent as a mobile phone pocket. Will be adding more colors and hopefully will not wear these to the point they again become an embarrassment to my wife...great design, great shorts.

I already had several pairs of Brewha shorts that I wear SO much I decided to order some backups for when (or IF) they get too worn. It hasn't happened yet in over 3 years. Plenty of nice-sized pockets and they're easy maintenance wash and wear. Wish they came in black and gray.

Very nice fit and finish on these comfortable shorts. They have a nice cut with length that's just right for outdoor sports as well as heading to your favorite watering hole. Love the abundance of pockets and the zipper on the back pocket to keep your wallet in place. The material is just heavy enough to provide years of use without being too heavy for our summer weather here in Florida.

I have used Columbia shirts for many years and appreciate not only how cool they are in hot temperatures, but the casual look they have. I purchased the Brewha II shorts for casual wear and to fish in, based on this experience. I have not been disappointed. The fit is good, even after washing, no noticeable shrinkage. The leg length is perfect for bending down, getting in and out of a boat, and is comfortable. Only time will tell how durable they are. Based on Columbia's reputation, I suspect I will be more than satisfied.

I find myself wanting to wear these shorts every time I go out!
