This is my 5th part of Brewha II shorts. They fit great. They look fantastic. I only wished they were made in more colors.

Two pair purchased last year and two more this year. Quality of material and workmanship are the same............fantastic! I have retired most of my other shorts because they no longer fit. The small amount of elastic in the waist makes a big difference for me. I grew a bit during the winter months but last year's Brewhas still fit great.

Exactly as I expected them to be. Roomy, heavy fabric, may be too heavy for tropical climes. Great pockets and unique water bottle pocket. Would like them to be longer , at 7" inseam a bit short to my liking.

I have been wearing these shorts now for 3 summers...I farm and these shorts can take the everyday punishment that I give them...only complaint is they need more colors...Kakai, mud, a lite brown might be good choices

These are without a doubt the best shorts I have ever had the pleasure of wearing. I liked them so well that after one year, I purchased some more in different colors.

My third purchase and again I got just what I ordered, perfect fit, belt clip on left side, thats great for left handed folks like me.

I wear these shorts all the time. They are not just for fishing. They are very well made and look good. I like the fact that they rest above the knee.

Nice shorts, but not the style I thought from the online description. Suggest you put the style name in the shorts so a happy customer can reorder without guessing if he is ordering the same style he is happy with and thinks he is ordering.

These Columbia's have been my shorts-of-choice for years (model name may have been different than now) due to their quality construction, functionality, and excellent comfort. I have had pairs last multiple years through year-long use and washing; I live in a warm climate so these shorts see service the entire year. I love the hook & loop fasteners on the front cargo pockets which are a perfect size for my wallet, keys, pocket knife, etc. The deep front pockets easily accommodate large smartphones. I also like the relatively new right hip pocket which is perfect for my iPhone. I may have purchased the last Mud-colored pair during the last sale. I would love to see two new colors: khaki and olive; I like the Sage which seems to be a cross between the two, but would love the option for 2 more distinct colors.

Great shorts! I've been buying them for years and hope that Columbia keeps making them.

If you don' mind the length (7), this is a great pair of shorts. One feature I really like is that I wear my wallet on my right side where the pocket is a little off-center. I can now drive for hours and not have my wallet digging into me.

the original Brewhas are myfavorite summer go-to shorts, but my 3 pair are showing their extensive use. These new ones seem to be of a slightly lighter/softer weave, with a larger :) phone pocket that my Note II fits in nicely. This pair has already had one long desert outing, keeping me just as happy as the originals. Note on fit, as listed the fit is 'relaxed', perfect for hot weather hikes, don't down-size.

Fit chart is right on. Shorts fit great, feel great. The inseam is just right. The cell phone pocket is nifty as well.

Bought for boyfriend who likes Hook & Tackle Beer Can Shorts and Pusser's heavy shorts. He loves these, and they have equivalent pocket storage to the 2 pairs I just mentioned. The fit is great and they look great on.

I love these shorts. My hats off to those at Columbia that brought this product to market. Finally - someone with gumption to buck the system. They did not utilize the horrible Columbia 'snap' waist band closure. I am not going to say more about how terrible that is except I will never buy another pair of otherwise great quality clothing totally ruined by the lame waist band snap. The Brewha ll shorts have a button waist band closure allowing full movement without the constant aggravation of the pants bursting open at the waist band. The most innovative feature is the really nifty pocket on the upper back side of the pants to SECURELY store your cell phone. This is revolutionary men's clothing design. The pocket is placed high enough that you don't crush the phone while sitting. It is well thought out and easy to get to when needed. No more digging deep into a cargo style pleated side pocket where your phone bounces off your upper knee while hiking. Thank you Columbia. Very good shorts. Could you please follow up with full length pants with the same features?? Most likely the pant I would wear the majority of the time.

These shorts are perfect. For one thing...they are actually cotton...no nylon or poly at all! Good fit, lots of stylish hooks and loops...and generous cargo pockets. Usually Columbia are cut tight...this item is right-sized! Looks well with work shirts as well as with T-shirts. Great value, too!

I don't like to fish in plastic shorts and I don't surf, so I have no need for board shorts. This short is cool, comfortable and the fit is spot on. Plenty of deep pockets.

I love the Brewha II line shorts for men. They have a great color selection(I wear mine at sporting events and riding my bike) and the fabric is robust and holds up to the elements. the pocket configuration is great and I love the buckle loop for keys and key clips. Outstanding pair of shorts. I have several of the bright colors because I like to be visible when biking. You never know if the car traffic sees you!

No so long as other shorts...good comfort, fit, great phone pocket....wish all my short were this one....been wearing these for a couple years, now....

This is my 4th pair of these mens shorts. They last for years and I have 3 colors. The pockets are great. I am an older woman and the mens size small fits perfectly. I like that they are longer (7 inches).
