Great lightweight shorts. Perfect for southern Florida

The best shorts I've worn so far. Bought two pair a couple of years ago and three pair recently fearing they might be unavailable in the future due to style change. They are super comfortable, colors are great, sunglass cleaning cloth is part of pocket system and the pocket on the side can either be used for fishing pliers or as I choose, a cell phone

They fit perfect and very well made. Pockets are well sized and well placed. Will be my go to fishing shorts for sure. Looking at purchasing a couple more in different colors.

Wish d school color patterns were still available.

These shorts feel and fit fantastic! They even have a special cloth to wipe your sunglasses on!

Amazing performance and the pocket features are what fisherman actually use!

Great lightweight shorts

I'm a full time fishing guide and am on the water a lot. These have become my favorite shorts. The sewn in lens cleaner is priceless. There is also a very durable utility pocket in them to hold pliers or other tools. Great material, breathable and durable. I just ordered 3 more pairs!

Just a great all around short. They work for fishing on my charter boat or heading out to a nice dinner with my family. They pretty much have everything you want in a short. They have a double snap in the front so they stay nice and secure. I wish they showed a picture of the sunglass cloth cleaner. It is on the inside pocket on the left. It works great and is such a unique feature. I bloodied them up pretty bad a few days ago with a big catch of mahi mahi. I just threw them in the wash and they came out good as new. I have sampled almost all of the fishing shorts Columbia makes and these are my favorites so far. Great shorts Columbia!

These shorts are the most rugged shorts I own. I also love all the pockets that make these shorts the most functional pair as well.

Nailed it. Columbia please make more colors. I have 3 of these and love them. From fishing to taking my wife out these are comfortable, dry quick, have tons of room and lots of pockets. Lots of room for plastics and tackle when wading. My absolutely favorite shorts.32

As a professional guide and fisherman I depend on Columbia to keep me comfortable and these shorts are the best I have worn in a long time.

I have worn the Big Katuna II shorts for the last couple of years and they are by far my favorite fishing, boating, and outdoor shorts. Light weight, but sturdy enough to be comfortable in active sports. The snap side pocket holds my pliers and the built in cleaning cloth has come in handy several times. I have worn them while fishing redfish tournaments, swimming in the Caribbean, and hiking in Central America. I just ordered two additional pair so I have more than one color.

Best fishing and everyday shorts I've ever owned! Very comfortable and they are lasting well. Great material and the righthand side pocket is perfect for cell phones. Liked them so much I've bought 3 pair. Please make them in more colors!

Very lightweight and comfortable. Quickly becoming my favorite shorts, especially for S FL.

I like the Big Katuna. It is a comfortable pair of shorts that have enough pockets for when I go on the water. They are very durable so far.

All plastic zips and snaps. Great for TSA check in or wherever there is a metal detector; otherwise, I found the double snap a bit cumbersome and the zipper too too short, especially when using men's urinal and trying to hurry it up. I know it's a picky point but I feel like it's a bit of a nuisance piece therefore it isn't as functional in my books. As for comfort, great Function on the job, very good

These short are great. They retain stains (blood and guts) after being washed, so be careful.

These shorts were wayyyy to big for my son. He put them on and they fell to the ground. They were the smallest size available, which was really disappointing because the shorts themselves were very nice, colorful, soft, and very high quality. I hope to see this type of shorts available for tween boys very soon!

If you are standing on a boat for long periods of time these shorts are perfect for that. If you need to be able to move around and be agile, they might not be the right choice. The blue is very bright.

The cargo pocket in front is unusual in that there are really two pockets there; one that is open at the top and the other right behind it has the normal cargo flap cover. Returning it for this reason.

Good shorts for fishing; too stiff and large/bulky for casual use, thus not for me and I returned them. Tough material for fishing - probably would last a long time.

Nice fitting and comfy to wear all day. Hot days of work or fishing ect. In Fla. Only advice I can give is to only buy black... The light colors Stain terribly , forget trying to get any stains out.... Also I found the only way to wash the shorts and get them clean is by soaking them first. "The material repels liquid" ...So you need to saturate the material. Before soap can even get on the shorts during a front load washing machine cleaning. Also no fabric softener recommended by manufacturer. So I bought all black shorts and black shirts. . ( I replaced grey shorts to black ) My husband looks great and feels comfy. Works for me..

These are great shorts for fishing off of my boat and not having to worry about getting them stained! I have more than one color!

BOUGHT THREE PAIRS OF THE ORIGINALS. GLAD I DID . LOVE THE FIT AND QUALITY, BUT GOT TO SAY, THE NEW COLORS ARE HORRIBLE. I MEAN, BLACK IS OK, BUT THE OTHERS ARE FRIGHTENING!!! SOMEONE PLEASE CALL THE EIGHTIES WE FOUND YOUR DYE.
