I have been wearing Orthaheel sandals for four years now since I developed chronic plantar fasciitis, and I have to say that, despite what Vionic says, they have changed the footbed since taking the company over. There is less arch support and the heel cup is shallower. I have ordered so many styles in hopes that I would find at least one pair that is comfortable and supportive but I have had to return them all. Out of desperation I went on eBay and bought every pair of the original Orthaheel sandals that were left.

These are actually not very comfortable to me. I wore them all of the time at home for about 2 weeks to give myself time to adjust to them but honestly, they just don't work for me. The footbed is hard plastic and the arch support actually causes cramps in my arches. Obviously these are great for some people- hence all of the fabulous reviews- they just aren't for me.

These were really comfortable, but they were so ugly. They make your toes spread widely and your foot just looks huge. Great arch support though!

I wore these around the house and found that the arch tended to roll my foot out to the side.
The arch support actually hurt my feet.

These were quite floppy on my foot and made driving a car quite dangerous. The thong was way too loose. I need sandals with backs, but these Vionics run big. I am returning them.

New, and not improved! I own five pairs of the original Orthaheel flip-flops. I loved the new patent strap and ordered a pair. They seemed the same, but after wearing for a few hours my feet were literally flopping-out of the shoe! They are too big! I held up the size 9 to all of my other 9s and the are definitely bigger! Now I am stuck with shoes that are too big! Wear them around your house for hours before you cut the tag off! I am so disappointed. I do have a med/narrow foot.

The arch support was just way to much for my feet, and I have high arches. They're also bulky looking.

The arch in this shoe is very high and very stiff. It was very uncomfortable on my arch! Having had surgery for pronation, I need "soft" arch support.

Not as supportive as the original Tide
I bought these to replace a pair of Orthaheel Tide sandals that, once I got used to them, I loved. They were comfortable and supportive. I had to start wearing something with arch support at all times, and they were perfect to wear around the house.
Unfortunately, it seems that Orthaheel, now that it's re-branding itself as Vionic, is also changing its footbed. These Tide II sandals were slightly shorter and narrower in the forefoot area than the originals, but the big difference was in the arch. These are less supportive, especially in the forward part of the arch (the part near the toes rather than the heel). For me, that significantly reduced the comfort to the point where I have returned the sandals and am looking for other alternatives.
I did like the looks of the sandals, though. The color (I ordered purple) was great.

I ordered 2 pairs of this brand. I have had several in the past. BOTH OF THESE PAIRS FEEL APART WITHIN 1 WEEK. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS BRAND. They must have changed something as this did not happen to the last pairs that I have had!

I ordered this exact pair a year ago, and knowing I loved them, ordered again now. Sadly, they now run wider and I wobble all over the place in them. SO, SO disappointing!! Only order if you have wide feet.

The sandal straps are way too loose. I returned for a smaller size thinking that would help, but it did not. I could not keep sandal on my foot. Sadly had to return again.

I am very disappointed with these sandals. They are very loose and slip off my feet easily. This is my sixth pair and I won’t be ordering them again.

I've been having a major problem with finding a pair of Tide II that don't have a problem with the left foot arch. I have tried 5 pairs to get one pair that is perfect. All the other pairs had a left arch that was so high it dug into the bottom of my foot and was painful as well as making the straps too tight. After my first pair of Tide II which I bought one and a half years ago, I wanted two more pairs but now Vionic seems to have terrible quality control. They are incredibly uncomfortable and unwearable for one foot. Returning this pair and giving upon Vionic.

I had to return - the length fit - but you need a wide mid foot to fit the band. If I went down in size my feet would be too long for the shoe.

I have worn Vionic for over 15 years. And I have worn this same style from Vionic for just about as long. I've loved every single one of all my other Vionic purchases! So much so that I trusted the product and threw out my old pair of Tide II sandals before trying these. HOWEVER, this version is different, and it's terrible. It doesn't fit my foot the same way. They seem wider than they should be. They seem to swim on my feet the same way. And, most importantly, the sandal actually hurts my feet! Same style, same size, same color. Everything the same. So what gives?!!!???? I really don't understand. What have you done? And, why mess with a good, proven thing!

I was looking forward to finally getting a great pair of "flip-flops" with great support and good looks. Unfortunately, these sandals were way too wide for my C-width feet, and I had to return them.

This is the 3rd pair I've bought of these. The 1st two were great but, even though I ordered the same size this time, this pair fit very tightly and smaller than my others. Sad to have to return them. :(

Way too wide for a normal foot. Usually you wear the shoes and the straps stretch over time. This shoe had straps that felt like they were stretched to the max already before I even begin to wear them. So disappointed!!

I've loved all my other Vionic purchases so much that I oust threw the packaging away before trying these. The toe things gave me cuts after only wearing them to the pool 3 times. I gave them to my daughter if she can't wear them she'll donate them.

I started buying the original Tide sandals when they were sold as Orthaheel Tide. Wonderful!! The arch was much more supportive and they lasted for years with continuous wear. Vionic must have decided that they were too well-made. That's bad for business! The design and materials have definitely changed for the worse as time has gone on. Vionic ruined a fabulous product. Sadly, I won't be buying any more of my (former) favorite sandals.

The material is so much cheaper than the previous Tide shoes I purchased in 2019. They feel like Walmart flip flops. So disappointed. These shoes were the only thing I could wear to alleviate my plantar fasciitis pain. Now I don't now what to do.

I have worn this same style from Vionic and this is the first pair that doesn't fit even though all the sizes I have worn are size 8. Very disappointed. These seem much wider even though they should be a M. I would understand if I haven't worn this same style for the last 4 years.
