I am really pleased with this shoe, which was comfortable from the very first wear. It has a nice wide toe box, and both of the straps are adjustable so it's easy to customize the fit. I also like the way they look with jeans. I plan to use them extensively for summertime travel. The only tiny problem is that the plastic buckle on one of the shoes is pretty stiff, making it hard to operate. I'm hoping it will loosen up as I wear them more.

These shoes are adorable and I wish I could have kept them. Unfortunately, the seam of the toe box hit right on my bunion. I was hoping it would extend past that point. Alas. And there was very little arch support. Not good for over pronators like myself. I did like that both the heel strap and ankle strap were adjustable.

These shoes were comfy from minute one! I have one foot 1/2 size smaller than the other so it's a 9. The larger one is a 9-1/2. Since they only come in whole sizes, I got the 9's and crossed my fingers. Yay, they fit. The adjustable heel made for a perfect fit for both feet. The only thing I did (which I do with all shoes) is pre-bend them with my hands so they would walk without stiffness. Since it's not a tennis shoe, it has a nice firm sole. A good feature but when you're used to a more flexible sole, that's helpful. My feet are low profile, not much on arch or instep but I think these would work for anyone with all the adjustments. Also love the neoprene lining, especially up by the toes so it doesn't dig in.

Bought two pairs of this shoe for a 2-week trip to Japan. They were everything I hoped. Comfortable all day, easy to clean, quick on and off, and versatile style.

Recovering from a broken ankle and these sandals give my foot the support I need. Very comfortable and good stability for my heel. Nice look to wear to work.

Loved them the second I put them on. Sandals with protection of our little fragile toes! Wore them in the desert, got them all dusty and then rinsed them off in the shower~! Heading to Sweden to see how they do traveling. Half sizes took me into a 9 and they were really roomy and MIGHT have been able to go with an 8 but enjoy the slip on factor.

I have such a hard time finding comfortable shoes! I bought these three days before leaving for Italy and walked, walked, walked in them with no discomfort! I liked them so much I bought three pair in different colors.

This is a very comfortable and well-designed sport sandal. I have not tried it in the water yet, so I can't speak to that feature. I thought I wouldn't like the buckle closure at the front but it is convenient and, unlike Velcro, it won't mess up the bottom of your pants (if you wear pants in the summer, like I do). The back strap is adjustable with two small Velcro straps which makes it easy to customize the fit. They are easy to get on and off. This sandal was comfortable from day 1, no break-in period. I am not crazy about the pink insole on the Dove sandal, but it doesn't show too much when I wear them.

I love these shoes... they are cute and you can adjust front and back heel. I wore these shoes for 2 days straight and my plantar fasciitis was so aggravated I had to use an ice pack... They have NO arch support, but the padding is amazing, they're like walking on air.

I love everything about this shoe - in fact, I'm writing this review because I was on the page contemplating buying a second pair in another color. I purchased them for a vacation in Japan where we'll be walking many miles each day, covering lots of different terrain, and removing our shoes several times daily. I needed a shoe whose style went with everything, but that would be comfortable and durable. After a couple of months breaking them in in the Pacific Northwest, I'm positive these will be perfect for the trip. I find myself choosing them over my running shoes for short walks and errands. They're highly adjustable, go on and off easily without requiring readjustment, and live up to the promise of not being smelly even when worn barefoot. My only word of warning is that I had to send the first pair back for a half size larger than I'd normally order.

These shoes are simply amazing. They are beyond comfortable, and really looks cute on the feet - not clunky. I have owned many comfort sandals, Teva, Clarks, etc., but this beats them all. Kudos a million to Merrell!

So comfortable! I walked all over Europe in these shoes without a blister or moment of discomfort! Easy on and off, sturdy sole for those cobblestone streets. Great arch support and padding on the ankle straps. And my size 10 feet didn't look like small boats! I wear 9.5 - 10 depending on the shoe. Given the amount of walking I anticipated, I went with the 10s. Perfect.

I wear a 10.5 and Merell doesn't make that size. I tried both the 10 and the 11 in this shoe and they both worked, fit-wise, thanks to the adjustable heel strap. Very comfortable shoe EXCEPT for the ridges that are cut in the footbed under the ball of the foot--I suppose to help with perspiration evaporation. The ridges proved very uncomfortable for me even after wearing them for only 5 minutes, and so I returned both pairs. Too bad--very attractive, well fitting, otherwise comfortable shoes.

So cute & so comfortable. Waterproof for the beach or pool but could be dressed up, too. Got black, in a 7, which is the size I usually wear. Everything fits very comfortably except that neither area of velcro- over the foot or behind the ankle-can be pulled tight enough for a good fit on me. I'm going to take 4 of the 6 velcro pieces off the shoes with a seam-ripper and re-sew them on so they fit. I'm super-picky about shoes and since these are great in every single other way, it'll be worth it.

Great all purpose shoe. If you take only one shoe on vacation, this is it (except for dress up I guess) can be used as water shoe or walking shoe. good traction and arch support and shock absorbing. Wear with or without socks. Fully adjustable.

I really liked these, but chose another Merrill style because it "walked" better for me. I thought about keeping them, but I don' t really need two such similar sandals--even though these were better looking and felt good on my feet. A great reason to love Zappos. I get to really try and compare in the comfort of my home and not have any pressure.

I love these shoes (I'm on my 3rd pair in as many years). Comfortable, and they go with almost anything.

This attractive sport shoe has excellent support and is true to size. I like the open features, but appreciate the enclosed toe for protection walking trails. The toe box is roomy and comfortable.

I loved these from the moment I took them out of the box. Wild Dove is a perfect neutral--not too brown and not too gray. Very comfortable! Several adjustment points make them very easy to fit. I also love that they don't have a clunky toe cap. I'm considering buying another pair!

I have had a pair of these shoes for three years. I have traveled to New York, San Francisco, Paris, London, and Amsterdam with these as my primary footwear. You just cannot kill these shoes. Rain, cobblestones, you name it, they take a pounding. The fit, look, and comfort are still as great as the day I bought them. Arch support is good for a sandal - consistent with Merrell standards. The Velcro adjusts every wear for a nice, snug fit.

There is a weird lump in the front of the shoe by the toe, across the insole. It is uncomfortable and the only reason I am returning these shoes.

These shoes are Love at First where! I truly love the width of the toolbox. Its nice and wide. Well I'm not used to an Adventure sandal like this, I love the fact that is completely adjustable. I'm definitely going to keep these, and enjoy running around you open them. Thank you Merrell!

Put these on and wore them for 4 days of Spring Training in AZ. Lots of walking and standing. From casual (airport and stadiums) to dinner out (try Citizen Public House!) they were both comfortable and attractive.
