I thought these were really cute shoes and have been a happy Merrell customer for years. But they were unfortunately uncomfortable by the toes. There is a line/ridge across the toes on the bottom and it's uncomfortable. I saw one prior reviewer mentioned it, but since only one, I bought anyway. It didn't work out for me--the ridge was uncomfortable for me as well. I returned them.

Great looking shoe; less clunky than some other trail shoes and closed toe keeps out dirt. However, if you are looking for superior comfort, shop for a shoe with a continuous back strap. This one is sewn in pieces which is bound to rub in spots when worn for several hours.

These are very cute and flattering, but they did not have any cushioning. I need some comfortable sandals for walking to work, etc. which will not give me blisters. I was of two minds whether to keep them, but I have a feeling the placement of the toe box (which cuts off right below the big toe joint) will give me blisters.

I make careful choices after reading endless reviews. I noted various comments about the plastic buckle being difficult to open. I must say "impossible" on both shoes for my OLD arthritic fingers losing dexterity. In my opinion this is inferior and for this reason I must return. I have worn Merrell shoes for walking for years and so pleased with the support. I am wearing the Jungle Moc now, but trying to find a summer style with open design has become impossible because spinal surgery and learning to walk again requires slip-ons but good arch support, and I am style conscious at 77 yrs. Severe Arthritis throughout my body requires my walking religiously but looks like I must walk in winter Merrells all summer.

I loved the style of these sandals and hoped for all day comfort wear. However, the toe box is too small even for medium width feet.

I love this shoe, but I got the tan color. After a few months of wear, the suede and mesh are dingy and stained. I was worried this would happen and put some protectant on them before wear. I've also tried to clean them with a few products and hand washing. Still dingy. Nice shoe, but I don't recommend the tan color.

I loved the color and the modern style of this shoe - I had the "wild dove" which features a nice pop of pink on the inside. However, I have a small bunion on one foot - right where the inner lining ended and the leather strap crossed over which made it very uncomfortable. Sorry to send these back.

I bought the dove color. I wanted to love these but they look too much like my 5 year old niece's summer shoes! Maybe it was the pink. Anyway they're super comfy but didn't go with the rest of my outfits so had to return.

Loved the look of this shoe-kind of a semi-dressy casual. I could see (and envisioned just that) wearing this to a conference in Boston this summer. However, right out of the box, walking on heavy carpet, the very rough stitching on the sole right at the instep was very painful and even a few steps told me this was a no go. Maybe for folks with a different shape of foot this would be perfect. Maybe the stitching is not so prominent or rough all the time and it was merely a quality control problem for this one pair. At any rate, unfortunately, they did not work at all for me. Love Zappos though!

These shoes were a disappointment and I am returning them. Contrary to other reviewers I found they had little to no arch support and were way too wide for my feet. I am returning them and ordering Keen's.

Very rigid sole material, not as comfortable as previous years' sandals. Poor arch support. Would like some colors that are more like natural leather and don't look like running shoes.

The buckles are very hard to work. It hurts my fingers to actually press hard enough to get them to release.

Loved the styling and quality of this sandal, but the toe box was too shallow and presses down on my big toe.

I ended up returning them as they looked too much like Mary Jane shoes. That said they were very comfortable, had several adjustments and would be nice if I had liked the style.

Very stylish and comfortable but the strap does not close tight enough at my ankle so the back part of the shoe cannot be secured. Changing sizes will not fix the problem. Too bad!

Super cute shoe, but couldn't even get it on! I have a side-pinky. You know.. it doesn't hang out with the rest of my toes. It doesn't even come close to fitting in the toe box of this shoe. The plastic closure was ridiculously difficult to open! I couldn't even budge it, so I tried to use the velcro on the back, but I couldn't adjust the plastic on top. It is simply poor design. They are going back. :(

Just received these today with high hopes that they would be my great shoes for the summer. These shoes feel so flimsy and cheap that I know they would not hold up for long. As another reviewer noted, these have no arch support, definitely not worth the price tag. A few years ago I had another pair of Merrell sandals fall apart after a month but I was hoping these would be different. These are going back.

This is the most uncomfortable Merrell I have ever bought and I have worn them for at least 20 years. It is a cute shoe, but I could not even open the strap as it has a hard plastic lock and there is an uncomfortable "bump" in the toe section.

Love the look of this shoe. Fit great right out of the box. BUT....due to a faulty plastic connector, I went through 2 pair in 3 months. Beware, with normal wear and tear, these will fall apart. As soon as Merrell replaces the faulty plastic piece, I will buy these again.

Not at all like an earlier version of an all-terrain/aquatic maryjane I still have. Very disappointed. The groves in the sole are uncomfortable on the ball of the foot. Also, the strap over the top of the foot is misaligned so that the fabric rubs on the foot where the suede padding should have prevented that from happening. "What a pity - only pretty."

I have always LOVED Merrells. And I LOVED these shoes! Any Merrells that I have owned, have worn well, for many years. However, the back strap broke while wearing these at Watkins Glen State Park, NY. Sadly disappointing. Ruined shoes. Makes me hesitant to purchase another pair. But the sights were AMAZING!
