Well this one was my own fault - if you have wide feet I will save you the same trouble. This shoe, adorable as it is for an outdoor sandal, does not come in wide. Yes, the ankle straps are highly adjustable but notice the toe box is not. I got the raspberry color which was very pretty - I literally said "ooooh!" out loud when I unboxed them! But it was not meant to be. If you should be ordering wide, look for sandals with an adjustable front strap - which a lot of other Tevas do have - or an open toe.

I like these shoes. I bought them for summer work shoes. I stand a lot on concrete floors. I've worn them to work twice. They probably aren't going to be as supportive as I thought, though for general wear, I know I will wear them. I usually wear size 8.5, I got a 9 and they are just right, with roomy toes. I have some difficulty with the fasteners too, but if I release the Velcro across the top of the foot, the fasteners open easier. I would really like better arch support.

I love the style, color (Wild Dove) and the comfort, but unfortunately the buckle doesn't work on either shoe. It's so stiff that I can't open it at all. I asked my husband to try it and he couldn't open it either. But - rather than return the shoes because I like so much about them - I can put the shoe on by loosening the top adjustable velcro strap. Seems kind of dumb that Merrell makes buckles that don't work, but this work-around is OK for me. I wear an 8.5 and I ordered both the 8 and the 9 to see which fit better. The way to go is to get the size smaller if you wear a half size. All the straps are adjustable and it was easy for me to get the size 8 to become an 8.5. The size 9 was too big and I couldn't make it smaller by adjusting the straps. One more negative thing - there is a built-in low ridge that I assume is meant to provide support across the base of your toes. I don't think this is a place where most people need foot support and if it doesn't line up with your "toe line" then it feels like you're walking on a stick going across the ball of your foot. By adjusting the heel strap I was able to get that support ridge where it should be so it's fine for me.

These are super cute and don't look clunky on the foot. However while this shoe got a 71% moderate arch support my foot couldn't feel it!! If you look at the pictures close enough you can see an obvious lack of arch support, I didn't do that before ordering and instead went on the reviews. Big mistake! If you don't need arch support I would highly recommend these!

This fits well. The color is neutral but fun with a touch of the light orange. I am returning the shoe because the markings on the foot bed bother my feet. Also, I do not like the plastic foot bed.

The toe box has ample room for toes, but the vamp doesn't come up high enough over the knuckles on my feet. Maybe it's just my feet, but most shoes these days have such low cut vamps that they're not comfortable.

I love these shoes except for one thing. The velcro fasteners are too short. I have to pull the strap almost all the way for a snug fit, and it barely catches the velcro. Sometimes a strap will come undone while I walk.

SO sad to send these back. I bought one pair early this summer - seemed great: super adjustable; cute; breathable; good fit on my size 11 feet (narrow heels, wide toe box); sturdy soles. Thinking I might've found a shoe that made my picky feet happy, I bought a second pair as a back-up / alternate color. Unfortunately, after wearing the original pair for awhile, I discovered the fit makes my feet too sore. Not enough arch support, too flat, and the contour of the sole is off for me. Bummer. The search continues...

I would have given this shoe 5 stars except for two reasons. The quick release buckle is anything but quick; fortunately the Velcro ankle strap makes it easier to take the shoe on and off. Also, it could have a versatile dressy look but the ankle strap (and that buckle) make it look like an athletic shoe.

Love the look, cool slick design, but the soles are harder than expected. Unfortunately, these didn't fit right and not enough arch support which my feet must have.

Comfortable shoe; however the toe box is very wide. But if you are walking a lot, it allows for some swelling. The shoe does stay on the foot very securely and has a nice comfy foot bed. Walked all over Las Vegas in these shoes and they were very supportive and didn't hurt my feet. No blisters, etc.

These shoes are practical and even a little cute, but mostly practical, kind of mom in a long denim skirty. There is an unfortunate ridge molded in for your toes, it seems unnecessary to me. It was almost irritating enough on my toes that I returned them, but after a day it really isn't noticeable. I'm excited to travel with them, they fit great and seem rugged enough to put to good use.

I love Merrell shoes and was disappointed when the Mary Jane sandal I bought 4 years ago was discontinued. I was very excited to try the Azura. It is very cute (not clunky) and I wanted it to fit comfortably and feel support, but to be honest, it is probably a B in both departments. The shoe is more comfortable with socks. Without socks, I can feel a seam on the ball of my foot. It is a good, not great, walking shoe. I was hoping to travel with them, but will probably not. I think I need to keep looking.

I loved these shoes for quality, design and fit, but one strap near by big toe was too tight and cut into my right foot. My left foot is wider than my right and strangely enough, it fit great. Darn!

Comfortable water shoe that also works for hiking! This is my second pair - I wore out the first pair because I was wearing them all the time. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is the green strap. I want my shoes to be totally neutral color so I can wear them with any color outfit.

I love these shoes. Since they arrived on 6/11/14, I have worn them every single day for 10-14 hours at a go. They're super comfy and completely adjustable at the ankle which is awesome if your ankles swell up a bit in hot weather (as one of mine does). I have flat feet, but the arch support is adequate and I've walked around museums and cities in them for hours with no discomfort. My only unhappiness is that, after wearing them so unwaveringly since 6/11, my baby toes have both worn holes in the mesh webbing and now I need to buy a new pair. (Perhaps two new pairs, to wear in rotation, so they last longer?)

I bought this shoe after trying many contenders...the Keen, the J41, for example. I have metatarsalgia and need a good footbed, and structure under the metatarsals. This shoe provides that. However, I have narrow, long feet. The velcro around the top of the shoe was not long enough. Luckily I'm creative and I was able to sew some black velcro onto the strap so that I could pull it tight enough to fit me.

I have worn Merrell shoes for several years and loved them. This year I ordered my usual size 10 and they were way too small; I had to exchange them for an 11 which did fit. I still wear a 10 in other brands. I did not find these as comfortable as other Merrell shoes. There was no give or spring in these shoes; the soles are very hard compared to my other Merrells.

These are cute shoes. I have wide feet so I went up a size hoping they would fit. But they were still a bit short and too narrow for me so I had to return them. They are not dark purple, much closer to magenta or deep pink. I was disappointed with the color.

This is a cute water shoe/sandal, but the buckle was defective on the left shoe; it kept coming undone when I walked in the house. Also, the stitching on the edge of the shoe dug into the instep on my right foot. Have to send it back.

Really like these sandals, but I had to sew the buckle closed on the left one, because the clip would not stay latched. It would pop open every dozen steps or so -- especially delightful in crosswalks! Fortunately I can open the strap with the velcro so I can wear the shoes, now that the clip is incapable of flopping open. Such dandy shoes practically useless because nobody checked a $1 clip! Also for me, the heel strap is set at too low an angle, but that's often the case for me. I must have a high heel-bone. The straps don't sit securely above it, but halfway up, where they slip. I may take them off entirely, a lovely option.

I wear a size 11 in other Merrell shoes, but these were both too long and too wide for my foot. I wasn't able to open the strap across the top of my foot, but the back strap unhooks easily. They are very lightweight, a plus in the hot weather. I will be exchanging them for a size 10.

I loved these shoes, and they were true to size, but there wasn't enough arch support for my feet.

These are nice looking shoes. I wear a size 5.5 and the 6 seemed to fit OK. However, to my surprise, the inside of the straps (skin-facing side) is quite rough and scratchy. The strap that crosses the big toe was very uncomfortable. My other comment is that this shoe has a plastic buckle. Velcro straps are just so much easier and, moreover, it seems to me that the plastic buckle would wear out long before the rest of the shoe. Finally, if you have a high arch, these sandals will not work for you. You can make the strap only a tiny bit looser.

I have 3 pairs of these. Two from the current season and one bought more than a year ago. On the old pair and now one of the new ones (just 1 month old), the triangular clip that holds the 3 straps has broken. I love them too much to send them back so I have kept them. I tried a couple kinds of super glue and nothing has worked. I am now going to replace all the triangles with key rings. Fingers crossed that works better. I don't see that anyone else mentioned that issue with the shoes so maybe it is just my feet.
