Ecco Bluma Summer Ballerina is a beautiful COMFORTABLE shoe. The inner sole is cushioned beyond belief! If the toe box had been wider it would have been perfect for my narrow heel and bunions. Unfortunately it is not available in wide.

Love these shoes! I'm a true 7.5 in almost all shoes and the 38 in this fit like a glove right out of the box. The moon rock color goes well with everything and they are very flattering on the foot. I've worn them every day for the past week in complete comfort with dresses, pants and capris and they will be my primary walking shoe for upcoming travel. I will likely order in other colors as well. Zappos was awesome, I ordered size 37 first and had to send back - free shipping each way and received the 38s the next day!

I've been looking for a comfy black flat that had some support but also didn't look too frumpy. These are great for all those things! No breaking in required (and I usually get blisters for the first few weeks with any new flats) and there's a good amount of arch support too! There is mesh, which makes them look a little more casual, but in the black at least it's subtle enough that they're fine for work.

35 eu size is NOT size 4 or 4 1/2-not even close-plz don't waste both our time on this constant mistake. Otherwise its a great flat-well made, soft and sporty stylish-had to return of course due to wrong sizing!

I am happy to finally have a ballet flat (of sorts) that fit my difficult feet! I have narrow heels and genetic bunions--not a happy story. As a 30-something working professional, not having ballet flats and not being able to wear heels can limit my clothing choices. I wear a lot of boots in the fall/winter and sandals in the spring/summer, but sometimes you need other options. These shoes have worked very well. They are a little on the casual side, but since they are all black it isn't too noticeable. I also work in academia, so we aren't super formal anyways. The arch support is great. I can walk around campus all day and teach in them without any discomfort. They are a little loose on my heels if I am wearing tights, but when I wear sock liners with a heel gripper, they are perfect. There is a little tightness by my toes but nothing too intense or uncomfortable. I usually wear a 8.5 and size 39 (8/8.5) is perfect for me. Size 40 would have been too big.

I wanted a pair of stylish walking shoes to wear with dresses in the summer as I walk about 5 miles round trip each day. Ecco has created an attractive walking shoe that is quite comfortable. The band across the top near the toes has not stretched as much as I had hoped so by the end of the day the area is a little tender, but not so much that I would give these up or wouldn't recommend them. If you have wider feet, they may pose some challenges.

I went by reviews and ordered a 9 (I am a 9½). That was far too small - my toe hit the end and they were tight. I realized that they would not be right for me anyway, so I will be sending them back and not ordering another pair. I imagine that they would work for others who like the style, but I do recommend ordering in your regular size. On to find another comfort shoe that will pass for work.

Fantastic comfortable “dress” shoe. I needed something to wear with business casual dress clothes when at a trade show and had to do a lot of walking. These were comfortable right out of the box. They can easily be worn with thin socks, tights or barefoot as I did. Dressy enough for work but can be casual with skirt or jeans. Perfect for travel. Very happy with these.

I have loved this shoe. I wish I could find another as comfortable . They no longer have this in my size. I wear them when I am eveywhere. dressy and casual.

I love my Bluma summer ballerinas! I had purchased a pair about five years ago for a business trip to Chicago. Wore them almost an entire day right out of the box with no problems. They finally wore out after MANY wears. I was thrilled to find them on Zappos - ordered them in both black and silver. I sometimes have problems with shoes squeezing my pinky toes, but the fabric/leather upper combination is flexible enough to be comfortable all day long. Tempted to buy another pair now just in case Ecco discontinues the style.

Love the color and comfort of these shoes! After having had foot surgery I can no longer just buy cute shoes and make it work. I need something supportive and comfortable and as an added bonus these are cute! Wore them for a full day right out of the box with.l no issues. These will definitely be going to Europe with me this summer!

Loved the look, but the shoe was too short. Not enough to order the next size, so they are on their way back to Zappo's.

Good fit, reasonably fashionable, goes with everything from shorts to dresses. The ability to replace the footbed with my own orthotic is key. Seems pricey for a shoe that I have to put a $30 orthotic in, but I have tried less expensive shoes and they just don't work for me. On the other hand, I have a $150 pair of Naot sandals that don't feel this good.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They fit perfectly and accommodate custom orthotics. I have been looking for comfortable and stylish black flats for months. I don’t need to look any further.

Great but too narrrow

Very cute shoe. I like the sportiness of this ballet flat but I need something with more arch support and a more firm sole. Also, I realized I'm not a ballet flat kinda gal so I returned them.

Love ECCO - own a lot of different styles, including golf shoes. Already own a previous season's version of this ballerina flat. I've worn the heck out of them and they've held up great. The full black is not super sexy, but they are comfortable, practical, and are "athletic inspired" footwear (as I prefer). The insole is removable - a bonus. I have chosen to return these however because the sole is not as wide in the instep as I prefer. See picture 3 where it curves in mid-shoe. My orthotic inserts are just a bit too wide for this shoe and I'd forgotten this before I purchased. Zappos is awesome, as always, about the returns.

Length and width were just right, almost everywhere. They're really cute too. I'm returning because they hurt my bunion on my left foot.

They are best casual flats I have ever had, but they will not wear out, literally. I have had a pair now for about four years and they will not wear out. They have the removable and washable inner sole which is wonderful to keep them fresh. BUT, they grow on your feet. The pair I purchased in the beginning are now slipping off my feet and I need another pair. Buy them, they are wonderful.

One of the most comfortable shoes I own. Not as fashionable as I’d like but I suppose that is the price you pay for comfort!

I have difficulty finding shoes that fit well and that are comfortable. I've been wearing ECCO Biom Ballerina flats for the last few years, but they seem to have been discontinued now, so I tried the Bluma Summer Ballerina in Shadow. I was really surprised by how well it fit (more comfortable than the Biom) and how nice it looked on. I'd seen these shoes for the last few years and dismissed them because I didn't think I liked the way they looked, but after finding them now at a terrific sale price, I decided to try them. I'm so glad I did. They look much better in person. I have seen various reviews for ECCO shoes and, depending on the color, the fit does vary within the same style - I have three colors in the Biom and they all fit differently, so I would suggest that even if a particular color doesn't fit well, if you like the style, try a different color. I wear a size 41 (size 10) and the Shadow in size 41 fit me well.

It is a dream shoe and very stylish . Leather and fabric are soft and fit is as expected. It can be worn with so many different outfits. I have purchased three pairs and love them all, especially the gray.

These shoes are some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. This is my third pair!??
