This is the rock star of boots! They are comfy, cute and fit true to size. My only issue is the huge tag in the front. It really detracts from the look.

I ordered the Arcilla, which in most photos of this product on various websites, appears to be a vibrant red with an antique finish. (Which I love!) It is more of a burgundy/brown in person. I bought the size 40 (US 9.5-10) I wear a 10 in most shoes and have feet slightly on the narrow side. They fit well with a sock of moderate thickness. I may have kept them if they were more comfortable. The fit was good, but the heel felt very hard and the insoles did not provide adequate cushion. I spend much of my day on concrete floors and look for shoes with accommodating insoles and soles. I agree with others that the brand logos are a bit excessive as well. (I took away one style star for that.) If I kept them, I would have removed the labels. If you decide to do the same, there will likely be light spots where the labels were. The antique finish was applied after the labels were sewn on. (I flipped the side label up to check.) I hope others have better luck with these: overall, they are beautifully designed and crafted.

What a disappointment to find that I did not buy a pair of red boots as pictured. I would not even call them reddish brown as they are just a warm brown, or tobacco color. The laces insure a perfect fit and the zipper makes it very easy to put on and take off. Hurray for the soft padded inner boot and the safe rugged bottom soles. I am keeping them and matching them with a brown leather backpack and will add a good arch from the drug store. Would buy them in black as well if they had a better arch.

I just had a chance to wear these boots. With a tulip skirt and leggings for cold weather in Maryland comfort is key this time of year. Christmas shopping and covering a lot of ground I had no complaints all day long! These boots worked well for both style and comfort. I ordered size 9½-10, I normally wear size 9 shoes. The fit is good with thick socks the quality is exceptional. I would like boot strings a little longer as they can be tied around the top and scinched up tight. Get a pair while they last!

They are the funky, cool, well-made boot I was expecting, but not quite the color I wanted. I order the lightish-brown color, but it was more of an olive green in person. Returning it now. They looked great and were super comfy on feet, ever so briefly. I got a size 40 (9.5 US), and it ran a bit larger than usual for me.

True about the smell. For two days I couldn't figure out what the hops smell was. Thought it had something to do with a copper piece of jewelry that I was wearing. Then, realized it was the boots combo of rubber sole and leather treatment. UGHH. I'm keeping these, however. The smell will subside I believe. Love the style, just a little bit overdone with the stitching at the lace tabs. I don't really care for that sort of detail. Love the fit, and yes, they work really well with an orthotic. Too bad they were out of black because that would have been my first choice. Just the right height and shape to look great; not too high and can be worn all day. And no break in period.

Loved the style, really cute, but... the red color in the pictures didn’t come through in real life. They looked more brown than red ??

These are beautiful boots! I only wish that the manufacture would let the customer do the advertising other than the label that is glaring and taking away from the beauty of the boot. I don't like to flaunt a name brand, and this is why I only gave it three stars. Other than the grotesque advertising on the boot, I love them. They are classy and stylish boots.

The curse of the inconsistent Pikolinos sizes - I wear a US 10½ - 11, and these Euro 42s were too short! Another Pikolinos model I ordered, the 42 is too large. Back to Zappos they must go, unfortunately. They are beautiful shoes, however.

I first ordered the red arcilla . . . they came in a dark muddy burgundy nothing as sassy as the red in the picture . . . they were also short in length. I ordered a 39 and wear an 8-8.5 shoe normally. So I re-ordered the laurel instead and got the size 40 since the 39 was too short . . . well, these are much bigger, and as I wear them they gap at the lacing at the ankles; a 39 would have been perfect in this color. Nevertheless, they are too nice not to keep: comfortable, stylish, great with long skirts or jeans. I add arch supports and socks and that takes up some of the slack. I only give 5 stars for the color and sizing inconsistencies but they are wonderful boots.

I ended up wearing these boots probably 6-8 times over two months and then i put them in my give-away pile. I should have asked to return them. But there was a weird disconnect between the heel and the rest of the boot. Everytime I took a step, the heel stretched back in a weird way. not cool. I do not recommend.

I purchased these boots and loved the way they feel, very little break in period is needed. However, I probably only wore them 6 times and I realized the heel was wearing down already and part of it was shredding off. The construction and material for the heels is awful. The company claim a two year warranty but when I sent them photos they claimed it was " wear and tear". I have the wedges and they have been great, these expensive boots are junk.

Disappointing! These adorable boots started falling apart the 3rd time I wore them. By now, several of the felt/suede pieces around the heel have peeled off and the wear on the bottom of the heel is going fast.
