I got a size 38 and they fit great. I normally wear a size 7 1/2 or 8. These are so comfortable I can walk around in them all day. The color is a very dark grey which is extremely versatile. I requested 2 day free shipping and they actually arrived on my doorstep in about 24 hours!

I got this boot last year and I'm still in live with it! They were very comfortable right out of the box but I like my boots snug so I added an insert for extra Arch support. The boot runs pretty true to size...I usually wear an 8.5 and the 39 is what I have. That being said, there is room for the insert and the laces are as tight as I could get them, so maybe one could size down a half size. I wear them for extended periods of time, and even tho they have a slight heel, they are VERY comfortable! I always get lots of compliments.

I'm in love with these boots! They are super comfortable out of the box but I like a more tight fit and bit more support so I placed an insert from an old pair of shoes into these boots, perfect! I got the lead color and they are a deep grey color/almost black. They definitely match black clothing because they are so dark, but even more interesting because there are deeper/lighter parts to the boot as well as a dark rich brown trim. Trust me, it all comes together beautifully. I could wear them all day they are so comfortable and the heel is a nice height. I'm sad boot weather is ending for the season. They ARE expensive but I've found them worth the price. They make me very happy and I think I'll be buying more in the Pikolinos line.

I am obsessed with these boots! I love the look and feel of them. They fit me like a glove, and I can wear them all day. That said, it took some effort for me to get to this point. As many others have mentioned, the sizing is inconsistent. The first pair I ordered was made in Morocco. While the length was good, the toe box was tight and the heel slipped. There was no way I could wear them. I'm so grateful I read previous reviews and had that knowledge going into this purchase because I decided to take a chance and order a second pair. The second pair was made in China and fit perfectly. I'm a 9 1/2-10M and the size 40 from China was perfect. In the end, I'm thrilled, but it shouldn't be this hard!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this boots! I wear them with leggings with cute socks sticking out of the top, I wear them with dresses and tights as well as jeans.. They are SUPER comfortable. I removed the footbed so that my orthotics would fit and they are perfect!! I think I may have to see if they come in other colors! Ive had them over 1 year and they are holding up great! Very cute boot !! I am a size 11 ordered the 41 and they are just slight to tight. Dang it !!

This is my favorite boot! First on comfort: I need good arch support, and these are very supportive. I'm not crazy about wearing heels, but these are low and comfortable... easy to walk in, but tall enough to be cute. The tread is great and has already kept me from slipping on snow and ice. The tread, lace, and styling add that edgy punk look that I was looking for, but are still feminine enough and not overly clunky unlike a traditional combat boot. The leather is really nice, thick, and has a gorgeous color. I ordered the red arcilla color, and it was not the bright cherry red in the picture, but it wasn't an ugly pink wine or anything... just deep and rich red. The color is really lovely and goes with everything. I wear these with leggings usually and sometimes under bootcut jeans. I get tons of compliments on these every time I wear them. I also like that these lace up so that you can customize the fit, and the zipper makes it so you don't have to relace them every time... easy on and off! I have very muscular, thick calves so the mid height and the laces make it easy to get the fit that I need. I ordered a 40 (9.5-10). In US shoes I'm typically a solid 9, I'm a 39 in Danskos and other shoes, but I've been a consistent 40 in Pikolinos shoes. So just know that you should order up a half size in this brand.

These shoes are gorgeous and to say that they're comfortable is an understatement. My daughter loved it so I ordered a pair for her in Lead. She is happy to have chosen her Christmas present in Nov!?? Thank you Zappos for carrying quality brands.

I LOVE these. They are a feminine take on the combat boot style. I wear 11 narrow, and with moderate socks and the laces cinched up, they don't slip in the heel. (Well, hardly at all.) The toes have just enough room for a natural gait. They are just long enough. (I can see why some reviewers say they feel small for the size.) They're not super cushioned, but the soles are so well shaped, I feel like I could walk all day. There's a subtle rocking built in.

These boots are lightweight, comfortable and stylish and I receive compliments every time I wear them. As with all Pikolinos shoes and boots that I own, I wear a size 37 instead of my usual 38. I added an arch support to these boots and find them very comfortable for walking.

I'm generally a size 12M and fit into size 42 in all three of the Pikolinos Le Mans styles I've purchased to date (Le Mans 838-9232, a second style of boot, and a bootie). This isn't true for a number of other Pikolinos styles, such as Andorra, Lisboa, and Royal, for which size 42 was much too small for me. It seems the sizing conventions are not consistent across the brand. Nevertheless, Pikolinos shoes seem to be well made, the leather is soft, and the styles are much nicer than I can usually find given my large shoe size. I have the Le Mans 838-9232 in the colors Arcilla and Lead, both very pleasing.

These boots are gorgeous! The leather is soft and supple inside and out. The color is beautiful. The feminine details are so sweet. The rugged heel and sole are terrific. It has some flex while walking, which I usually avoid because that tires my feet, but I am hoping these will be ok for long days and long walks. I am a very consistent size 39 but these felt a full size larger than marked. I exchanged them for the 38, which fit perfectly. I feel extremely happy to have discovered this brand and very excited to have some pretty and functional new boots.

I will definitely be purchasing more Pikolinos shoes in the near future. These books are wonderful! Very well made, very comfortable and great style. I was pleasantly surprised and highly recommend these boots. True to size and I love the lace up and zipper option.

I love the way my Le Mans (Olmo color) boots look and feel. I wondered if they were slightly too big but I have decided to stay with this size (39) because I think the size 38 would be a bit too small, especially with heftier socks. According to the Pikolinos site, a size 38 fits a US size 7½-8 and I think that just might be too small for my pretty average size 39 foot. There are comfortable right out of the box. The feel of the leather is incredibly soft and the craftsmanship looks and feels really special. I am not one to splurge on myself but I am really happy that I did this time because finding shoes with a slight lift (2" heel) that are super comfy is like a world with sunshine. It makes a huge difference!

First off, I ordered the size smaller than I would usually wear, after reading other reviews. I love these boots!! The break in time was a couple hours at most. My problem now is that I want to wear them everyday. I can't say enough about the workmanship, and the comfort. I will look at buying Pikolinos again.

Love these boots. I own a lot of Pikolinos, and these are as nice as can be.Very cute details. Comfortable. Lately I've had trouble with some pairs having a very strong odor, but these are fine.

These boots are very comfortable with no break-in period required. I have a narrow heel and high arch but wide toe box due to bunions. I am usually a size 6 to 6½. The 36 fit perfectly. I was able to walk all over town without any discomfort. I did have to pull the laces tight for my comfort.

Cute and comfortable. The Arcilla (red) color is much darker in person. They look almost cherry red on my screen, but were close to maroon in the box.

These were well made, comfortable right out of the box and the fit is very true to size. Unfortunately the shaft is too wide to wear under my jeans, so I am returning them. If I could afford to keep them on the off chance I might be able to wear them with different jeans in the future, I would, but they're a little too spendy for me.

I was looking for a comfortable casual short boot. This boot is exactly that. I could walk all day in these shoes. The leather is soft and the footbed has good cushion and support. They are also very stylish and cute.

I purchased these boots because I was having heel pain from a Bone Spur. Even without any gel inserts, I wore these boots for the first time, and I was 100% pain free. And that was about three hours of walking. I have since ordered two more pairs of Pikolinos...I am a fan!

Beautiful and comfortable. I hope Zappos will continue to carry this boot in many colors because I currently have 2 pairs and wear them practically every day. I wear a women's size 12 and I have a fairly wide foot and narrow heel. These boots were a little snug when I first wore them but they stretched and molded to my foot and now they fit perfectly. Love!

These were comfortable the moment I put them on--no break-in required. And I usually don't wear a heel. They're super cute and well made.
