I have been buying higher end boots from other manufacturers and typically have to size down. 1 am size 10 1/2 typically wide, and I normally size down to 10 and some cases 9 1/2. A few years ago I tried out Hmjognston and Murphy boots automatically sizing down to 10 and they were too tight. I recently purchased Stanton shoes and they are incredible, so a few weeks ago I tried these boots on in 10 1/2 and they fit perfect. The last is made for my feet. Break in was minimal, initially bought them in oil tanned leather and last week purchased in black. They are true to size. Where I am normally wide width, they are wide enough to be a perfect width. The leather is so soft. Try these on, you won't be able to walk out without buying.

This is the second time I have bought this pair of boots, only because my first pair wore out after 4 years of regular use! Most comfortable boot I have worn. I bought red wing iron rangers to try but was disappointed with their finish and quality, so I bought a pair of Johnston Murphy's for half the cost along a better finish and quality. I have had Thursday boots as well as several other brands, but this style boot is the perfect combo of casual style and comfort. Not a true dress boot, I have Johnston and Murphy Italian handmade boots for those dressier occasions. Amazing quality at a great price. I've worn these even in light snow and rain, they continue to hold up and even years after I bought the first pair the quality is exactly the same. Fantastic boots and well worth it!

Been buying J&M shoes for many many years. Very happy with the fit, comfort and craftsmanship. I like nice shoes! These Chukkas are a little heavy, but very comfortable, a perfect fit and and very smart looking. Love the leather.

Nice boot. Exactly what I expected.

The show is very comfortable but did take longer than expected to break in. The lol and style of the show is exactly what I was looking for. The only downside was the price was high but feel the quality of the shoe is good.

Great pair of boots.

I have trouble finding good fitting shoes, most have way too much arch support and dig into my foot. This boot does not, it's comfy, looks great, easy to take care of, and a pleasure to wear.

Not a big review person but have to comment. This swill be my second pair and not my last of jnm shoes. Extremely comfortable and exceptional craftsmanship. So glad i was pointed in this direction a few years ago when i was getting married and needed a nice pair of shoes. Now with a company gala coming up i needed a different look and jnm was there. So happy. Thank you Jason at utc mall for not being a pushy salesman and just pointing me in the right direction with what i was looking for.

I don't usually write a review, but this time I simply had to. I bought a pair of the Copeland Chukkas in black at my local store. Loved them so much that I went back to buy another pair in red brown a week later. They didn't have them. I don't like to order online because I'm old, often times stuff isn't very good, and the return process is usually a hassle. But I went online to Johnston and Murphy and ordered my boots. Now, here is why I am writing. I got them within about 4 days, lots of communication so I knew exactly where they were at all times, they came perfectly packed and exactly what I wanted. Well, except for one thing - I ordered them in the wrong size! Totally my fault, J&M filled my order exactly as I requested it, I just ordered the wrong size! Ugh, now I have to go through the dreaded exchange process. The process was very easy, J&M paid all the shipping, and I had my exchanged boots in the correct size within a week!!! Best online experience I have every had - Thank You Johnston & Murphy!!

Great fit. I have a wide foot so a little snug in width. Took some time to break in and stretch. The soles are amazing and comfort exceptional.
