I have been in love with these boots! When I saw that they where on sale, i ordered. I am usually a 10 and I have a narrow foot, but know some FRYE's run large. I ordered a 9.5 and 10. The 10's where a little long and to wide. The 9.5 fit perfect at first, but after wearing around the house they widened my heals where slipping and my sock was sliding off my heel. I so wanted these to work for cold MN winters. They are so soft and would have been snuggly warm for winter

Love the boot but after wearing them only a few times, the lining is wearing out already. Shouldn't happen so soon on such an expensive item! Will need to get a replacement....

I've wanted these boots for a long time so when I saw them on sale I got a black and a brown pair. :( They are sooo heavy that I have to return them. I work on my feet so I really don't need to carry extra weight. I'm so sad. I will find another pair though.

Love these! I bartend and can wear them easily for 10 hours on my feet. They feel like slippers. They are on they only thing on my feet November through March. Super warm and made well.

I will miss these boots this summer, but will be pulling them out again as soon.

Beautiful, beautiful winter boots ... I was looking for a fashionable WARM leather boot that I could wear to my son's cold football games, and just around town, that didn't look like a snow boot ... these are it!! They feel a bit snug to me, but I think because of the lining I would wear a lighter sock anyway, so I think they will be just right ... can't wait to wear em!

Very well made warm sturdy boot--typical Frye. True to size. Just happen to be more similar than expected to a pair I already have.

I ordered these in my regular size and the fit was just fine. Shearling is very warm! I originally ordered them in dark brown and liked them so much that I ordered a pair in black also!

Love these boots. They are stylish, rugged and comfortable. This is my third pair of Frye boots (all very different styles) and with each pair I have been impressed with the quality and the workmanship. These are great boots that will wear well for many, many miles!

I put these boots in my favorite list 2 years ago and just waited for them to go on sale. I finally got them for 75% off which is SOOO worth it! I own 4 other boots from Frye (riding boots, Chelsea boots, etc) and these are my favorite for winter. They took a day of breaking in (I was worried after an evening in them left my feet numb). After the wearing in period, they are super comfortable. They are not light but if that is what it takes to keep warm in sub-zero temps, then so be it. The shearling inside is so warm and cozy and my boyfriend is jealous and wants a similar pair for men. They have a timeless moto design and are very well made. The sole keeps me from slipping on ice and snow. The only thing I would change is the zipper on the side instead of the back. I highly recommend these boots for cold weather to look chic! I normally wear a 6.5 in Frye's (6.5-7 in other shoes) and ordered these in 7 as per other reviews. With the thick shearling, these run a bit small.

I didn't want to spend this much on a pair of boots, so I waited for a sale to buy them. Still expensive but worth the price. Right out of the box they were extremely comfortable. The rubber tread sole is great for snow and ice conditions, and the shearling is so luxurious. The lining wraps the entire foot in comfort and warmth. These are perfect, in my opinion. Beautiful, functional, and comfortable!

Love these boots, but they ran at least 1/2 size big. I did call Zappos and they are sending me a smaller size asap. Very excited to wear them.

I love these boots! These are my second pair of Frye boots- I also have Frye Valerie Strappy in black. I love the look and the lining keeps me comfortable though out the day--to top off these fantastic boots Zappos is great at ensuring timely delivery. I am happy!

Have these in both cognac and black (both thanks to Zappos putting them on sale!). They are comfortable, warm and look great. Have gotten many compliments. Like all my Frye boots, there is a brief "break-in" period.

These are my first pair of Frye boots and I can see what all the fuss is about. They took a couple hours to feel comfortable, but after that they are really great. I'm on my feet most of the day for work and these were comfortable all day - didn't want to take them off. I live in Northern Vermont and opted for the lined Valerie style so that I could wear them all winter long.

I traditionally wear a shoe in size 8 very comfortably. However, in boots, I will often order a size 9 as I find they remain comfortable when walking long distances and on airplanes with travel. It was difficult to order this boot in mu usual boot size 9 after reading comments about the fuzzy lining. And so I ordered an 8. I am returning them for a 9. Keep this in mind upon ordering: the zipper is on the back and runs over the heal and up the ankle at the heel back. There should be a larger zipper flap inside to keep the zipper from rubbing against the heal. There is not.So a larger size will help with this design error. The zipper flap is there but too narrow. Also some Mole Skin attached to the narrow zippper cover would extend this should it continue to blister the heal. It's a beautiful boot. VERY warm. I didn't feel the fuzzy lining will compress very much after wear. If you have never ordered your boots in 1/2 to 1 size larger than your regular street shoe..try it. You'll be hooked! The 8 rubbed a large zippper blister on heal and was difficult to sip. They look great with dresses, skirts and pants. Age 59 Colorado girl.

I am so glad I ordered these boots! They fit snug on the first wearing but they have loosened up a little, actually perfectly. And I love the wool interior! I have been wearing them without socks and they are perfectly comfortable. I have gotten a lot of compliments on them as well. They are the perfect height heel to wear with jeans or skirts. The length and width fit great. No loose heels or friction anywhere. Love them!!!

I LOVE THESE BOOTS for so many reasons! They are extremely well made and I don't have to compromise style to stay warm. Aside from that, they are hands down the warmest & most comfortable winter boots I have ever owned. They may be a bit pricey but honestly worth every penny spent!
