I'm normally a perfect 8 1/2 but I had to return these twice and ended up with a 7 1/2. It was worth all the exchanging! These are super cute and quite comfy, and the material doesn't look or feel cheap like some fake leather does. I'm going to be getting a lot of wear out of these! They are just a little big around the top of the calves but I do have pretty skinny legs.

These are so cute. The zipper is more of a maroon color but no better or worse than the red that's pictured. You will need to order at least 2 sizes down, possibly more. I am a 7.5 and i ordered a 6.5, I'm returning them because they do not fit my calf (16.5-17") but I would have been better off with a size 6 even. Leather stretches and breathes a lot so you want them to be smaller and snug.

I'm not one to wear flat heeled boots or shoes but I can honestly say I love these, they are so comfortable and look great with jeans! And as always Zappos ordering, shipping process couldn't be easier or more convenient! You rock Zappos!

Love these boots! I'm usually a size 8 1/2 or 9 so I ordered the boots in 8 1/2. They were too big. I exchanged them for an 8 and they fit great. Customer service was very helpful when it came to doing the exchange, they made it so simple.

I loved the look of this boot and the fact that it was more narrow than anticipated was a plus for me, with my skinny feet. The arch support is minimal at best but there was enough room that a pair of Dr. Scholl's gel foot pads would have completely remedied that situation, which is one I am use to when purchasing shoes. The faux leather had a good look to it. I buy faux leather exclusively and there are wide variations in quality. This was a nice version, with an actual nap to it that lent it a credible quality as well as making the material feel durable and not purvey a 'cheap' look at all. The reason I am returning them is because the width at the top half of the shank is just too large for me to pull off. Those with wider or even normal calves would do fine. I, however, have piano sticks to complement my popsicle feet, and it is difficult for me to find tall boots that fit right to the top of the boot. Bummer! They'd look great with leggings or jeans, or with a mini and pair of tights.

I wanted boots that I could walk 20 city blocks in two times a day that would keep my feet warm and dry without looking like snow boots. I avoided buying more expensive riding boots because I didn't want to worry about ruining the leather. I was worried these would look too cheap. But, in fact, they are super cute. They seem like they will be perfect - fashionable, but functional. And, I don't even know how it's possible to order boots and get them less than 24 hours later, but thanks!

Awesome boots. Super cute. Run super large and loose. Wore them and they kept 'eating' my socks! Will reorder one full size smaller.

For the price, they are a decent purchase though they probably won't last more than a few seasons. I get a ton of compliments on these boots. Every time I wear them someone remarks about how cute they are. They are fairly comfortable, though I would not wear them to walk all day in the city. They are easy to pull on and off without using the zippers. The felt fabric is cheap and not terribly durable; I wish I would've waterproofed them. I don't wear them if there's wet snow or rain as it has left some water marks. Additionally, if you're not careful, the toes can dent in a bit as the construction is thin. I normally wear an 8 or 8 1/2. The size 7 1/2 is a perfect fit.

I have very skinny legs. I ordered these based off the reviews that they would work for girls with skinny legs. I got them, and they almost could of worked. but they were still so big in the legs that I could pull them on and off without even using the zipper. I liked the way they slouched a little since that was the look I wanted. but they were so big up by the knee they looked ridiculous. gave them to a coworker with normal sized legs, an they look adorable on her! I have a size 10 foot, felt a little big, but worked.

I really like these boots but unfortunately they are not very hardy. Within a month, the sole on the left boot started separating from the boot itself. I have to super glue it back on monthly now. I'd suggest that if you're slightly hard on your shoes or live in a difficult environment (I live in snowy Wisconsin), buy a better made and tougher boot.

Buy a full size smaller than your normal size! I'm a normal 7, ended up buying a 6. I love them, but the size is off.

I bought a half size smaller, as recommended by my sister who owns these and I'm glad I did. The calf fits perfect. The shoe, however, has my feet swimming. I kept them because I can always put an insert or double up on socks, and I like how the calf fits, but honestly the shoe part is pretty oversized. Only other small nit-picky thing about these is if I wear them to work and am sitting all day, crossing my legs tends to hurt because the buckle hits right where my legs connect. Otherwise, fun style and great for being non-leather.

For those who have muscular or large calves these are great! Although the foot part is larger than needed.

Loved these boots, just what I wanted, but the size I ordered was too big, so I suggest when ordering, order at least a half size smaller. Even with heavy socks, they were too big.

These are very beautiful boots. My daughter gets compliments almost every day. However, on the first day she was putting them on, the entire zipper mechanism fell apart in her hands! Not the zipper itself, the pull. Broke into a million pieces, absolutely no way to fix. She was devastated! Zappos sent us a new pair right out (love Zappos, they rock). She wears these at least twice a week and so far, so good! Makes me a little nervous, I keep waiting for these to break but maybe it was a fluke. I will always order from Zappos, I hope their company never changes! Absolute best customer service ever. Every time, never had a bad experience over the years and that's saying a lot.

Cute casual boot for a great price. I have a 13" inch calf; these boots have more than enough spare room from there to have them still go over skinny jeans or jeggings. (My issue this year has been finding boots with a "small enough" calf; very odd, because before this year I've never had that problem when looking for tall boots.) The back zipper color seems a little more "muted" than in the photo - I had been thinking it would be more "red" but it's really more of a subdued plum. That was fine by me, as the zipper color wasn't a huge pro or con to the boot for me. My only gripe is that they tried to "contour" the calf of the boot, so it gets wider midway up before getting smaller again at the top; thus, the boot feels too loose on me at mid-calf, but perfect-loose at the top. I'll get over that. The result is little bit of casual slouching of the boot, which I had expected and was looking for. (I certainly didn't expect this casual boot to be a structured, non-slouchy boot.) Overall, a great purchase at a great price. Any time I can get a tall boot for this price, I'm a happy camper. When that tall boot is even cute too, I'm even happier.

Fun boots that are very comfortable. I am short (5'3") so these could be just a wee shorter, but they still come up under my knee which is what I wanted. I get lots of compliments in them and while I would have liked to get all leather boots, u couldn't afford them! All in all, I am very happy with these!

These boots are great - seem to be holding up (and I walk a lot), and they look nice. They are a little on the masculine side, appearance-wise. I like the contrasting color if the zipper (it's blue material). They seem to run a little large.

These are stylish boots that are very comfortable. They are more like biker style boots. There is no shine but they looked very good with leggings or stretch pants.

These boots are adorable! EXCEPT they are ONE FULL SIZE LARGER THAN EXPECTED. Huge! So, please be sure to order a size down to avoid the hassles of exchanging TWICE, like I'm dealing with currently!

These are adorable boots! I get compliments every time I wear them. They do run big...I'm always a 7 1/2 and they are roomy. I can still walk for hours in them and my feet don't get sore.

I absolutely love these boots! After reading the reviews I ordered them a full size smaller than normal and they fit perfectly. They do fit a bit snug in the calf but I could still zip them up - if you have large calves these may not be for you.

These boots are cute, comfortable and kept me warm. However, they run big and the man made leather stretches. I usually wear 5.5 and ordered 5.5 since it is the smallest available. I have to add pads and wear thick socks. But overall they are decent boots for price.

I've been striking out right and left with boots and I was ALMOST happy with these! The main reason I will be returning them is because the zipper is difficult to pull up or down - whether or not I am wearing the boots. It just kind of starts and stops all the way up like it's catching on something, even though it's not catching on anything. I have to pull hard enough that it usually hurts my finger. I'm worried that it's just a matter of time before the zipper calls it quits altogether. Additionally, I'm 28 weeks pregnant and my legs swell as the day goes on. I have muscular calves to begin with, and the boots will go on fine over a pair of jeans in the morning, but if I try them on in the evening there is no way they will zip up all the way. I thought about saving them to wear next year post-pregnancy but I really need some boots for now! They are cute boots and I wanted to keep them, but I will be returning them and looking for something else.

I love the color! They do seem to sag a little and scrunch up in the front on top of your foot but that is fine. They are super comfortable and keep my feet warm.
