These boots are the first I have found that fit my 18" + calves. I am thrilled, though I can't wear pants tucked into the boot, I can wear them with a skirt...I normally wear an 8 1/2 wide & there is plenty of room in the toe box even with thicker socks.

These boots impressed right out of the box, which was good, as I had returned two previous pairs. I zipped them over my 17" calves with no problems, then walked around in them in comfort for two whole days. Wonderful! They seem well made in every particular. After reading a review or two with critiques about the back gusseted panel, I was leery, but it does not look cheap, and creates a fitted but comfy silhouette that slims the look of my legs. Wore skinny jeans tucked inside them and got numerous compliments about how elegant I looked. Am definitely going to look for more of this brand.

Finally! I have found a pair that fit. I have large calves and am short, 5'4" Zappos have been wonderful throughout this journey of mine. The boot itself is lovely. Supple leather and timeless styling.

Just received these boots in brown. LOVE! them. Comfortable, soft leather. Sole feels flexible and will be easy to walk in - no slipping on hardwood floors. I have 19 inch calves and these are the first boots I've ever been able to zip. Worth the money to have a boot I can wear for the next few years.

Very good looking, high quality. I ordered 8.5 wide width as it was the only width available in my size. The footbed was much too big for me even with thick socks and an orthotic insert. But the shaft width was perfect; I have 16 1/2" calves, and these came up over my jeans without a problem. The stretchy insert on the back of the boot is genius. Excellent boot for wide calves!

I love, love, love these boots! My second wear they started to sag a bit (they're a tad wider than my calf) but the leather soon molded to my shape and they are great. I get a lot of compliments, and on my 17" calves these are a great fit. I'm actually thinking about buying a second pair for next year (since I live in New England and no boots survive more than one year).

This was the third purchase of boots through Zappos, the first two were returned (different brands) but thankfully returns are simple and as always free shipping. These boots are very comfortable and soft and fit my extra wide calves. Even when my legs are a little "puffy," there is enough stretch to fit comfortably.

Love these boots, they are so comfortable I can keep them on all day. I wear them with an insole & medium weight sock. They are comfortable for a good amount of walking & fit well around the calf.

These boots were comfortable and simple looking which was nice. However, my husband and I did not care of the look of the stretchy elastic piece on the back of the shaft when I actually tried them on. Which is really just personal preference.

Good boot for those of us with athletic calves and still need medium width. Easy to zip up with room for leggings. Leather is not particularly luxe looking but they are comfortable and are stylish enough.

I love these boots! I have a large, muscular calf (18 inches) and these boots fit perfectly! I can easily tuck my jeggins or tights into them, and thanks to the stretchy back they look good! The thing I really enjoy about these boots is that they actually look like typical nice boots, not something just made for big girls. The dark brown I ordered goes with everything, and was definitely worth the price! I order WW but I probably could have just gotten a W but I like having the extra space so I can wear thick socks for warmth. These boots are absolutely worth the price!

Really like these boots, spent 2 days in them for work and no foot pain or blisters! They are a bit big around my calves but that means when I wear my heavy winter socks there is plenty of space!

I have been looking for boots for 2 years now. Finally I have a pair that I love! I ordered the 13W(D) extra wide calf boots and they fit like they were made for my feet. I've got plantar fasciitis and bone spurs in both of my heals and these shoes don't hurt or aggravate either condition. It's wonderful! I wish I could get the brown pair too, but one pair at a time.

I just received these boots. They are very comfy! For once in my life these shoes are not tight in the foot area or calf. In fact they are a little loose; but I am keeping them and wearing socks with them. I love them. When I opened the box it had a nice smell of leather which I love. I would recommend these boots to anyone who has very wide feet and big calf.

Fit my 19 inch calves comfortably. I have serious foot pain from plantar fasciitis. Wore the boots all day, out of the box from Zappos. Feet feel great. After a day in BOOTS!!! Great for me. Quality boot, comfortable fit.

My boots arrived quickly and were as advertised. I am in my sixties, and for the first time since I was in my twenties, have I been able to wear tall boots due to the size of my calves. These boots fit perfectly!

I ordered 2 other boots that weren't wide enough for my calves. I have 17 1/2 inch calves and can wear these comfortably with leggings or skinny jeans. They were very comfortable the first time I wore them. Did not need 'breaking in'! Great purchase!

These boots are really great. At first I didn't like the panel in the back, but you really don't notice it, and it gives the boots a lot more flexibility. Also the shoe part gives a lot of support.

Like others have said, I tried other boots, but these are by far the best and worth the money! They run a little larger than expected, but with a heavy sock they are perfect.

I have 18 inch calves and these boots fit! The boots are soft, stylish, quality shoes. I love my boots, and as always was thrilled with Zappos wonderful customer service.

These are great for long legged women as mine were clumping up around the ankles (I am 5'5"). They are wide enough for me to wear thick socks with them. I would say that I have athletic calfs and this was just right with some room enough to wear with jeans. I am pleased with these boots as I almost always have a hard time looking for boots for my calfs. They do feel comfortable but I may be wearing these with some Dr. Scholl's inserts just for ultimate comfort.

These are great boots! I looked for a long timer before ordering these boots! I wear a size 11, and there are never any 11 in the stores, and I also needed a bigger shaft and ordered a pair of wide-shaft from a department store, but they were still too small. I went to Zappos to see what they had in my size and they had quite a few to choose from. I was willing to spend quite a bit, since I knew that I would have these forever, so I needed to make sure that they were quality boots. These are! They ran true to size and are so comfortable! I have no complaints about these boots and would definitely recommend them!

Gorgeous boots, super comfortable and fit true to size. The wide shaft has like a stretchable material and fits great even while tucking in blue jeans. They really are a great boot, well worth the price. Go ahead and buy them, you are worth it!
