These are my favorite boots, ever. After several month, I am in danger of wearing them out. I wear them everywhere. Only a recent trip to CA, and 82 degrees, proved less than ideal, otherwise I am hard-pressed to put anything else on. I wanted white winter boots. I thought they might be a bit clunky, but not at all, they are perfectly beautiful. I was willing to spend the extra money because of Merrell quality. These boots far exceeded my high expectations. Cushy, sturdy, look great with everything I wear, no fatigue even after hours of walking or standing, very supportive, No rubbing, no hot spots, ever. Not a fault, no weakness. Worth every cent. Really, they are perfect, in design, every detail and in manufacture. I wear them to work, walking in the city, walking in snow. I absolutely love them.

I've been recovering from plantar fasciitis and needed a boot with some support and plenty of room for my foot without squishing it. This boot worked out great for me. Usually I need to replace the insole of a shoe with my orthotic, but it wasn't necessary with this boot. It was comfortable from the start and stylish too. The zipper made it easy to put on and take off and it is fairly warm. It has lots of tread and really helps in the snow and ice. My only problem is that when it gets wet it is squeaky and the tread tends to hold more water so I need to work harder to dry it off before coming inside. But that is the price you have to pay to keep from slipping on ice and snow. If there was a little more cushioning in the foot bed I would be even happier. I did order a half size larger than I usually wear just to make sure it wasn't too snug and to accommodate thicker socks, but believe my usual size would have been fine too.

Excellent cold and wet weather boots perfect for Northeastern winters. Good support. I am able to go on a 2 mile walk comfortably, even in temperatures hovering around 0-10 F. Easy to put on and take off. I have large feet (11) so great to find a boot that fits so well.

I love these boots!!! I bought a pair of Uggs because so many people I know told me how warm they were (after buying Bear Paws and freezing). The Uggs were very warm, but after about a month they started leaking very badly. No matter how warm boots are, if they leak they are no good. I took them back and bought these Merrill Decora Chant Waterproof boots. They are every bit as warm, and as comfortable as the Uggs, they look great with jeans tucked in, or out, and they don't leak. I live in upstate NY where we get below 0 temps with snow, ice, and slush. These boots have been through all winter has to offer, my feet stay warm, and dry. I highly recommend them.

Love these boots. There are so cute. Unfortunately I have to send them back. I have wide calfs and the top of the zipper is just a smidge too tight. These boots have better support than the average boot but not as good as the Merrell Shiloh boots series.

Best: unique color and style, waterproof (they have worked well in snow and rain and kept my feet warm), comfortable. Plus they are just fun to wear. :-)

Of all the boots I looked at I picked these because they zip up, not lace, and I will be wearing them to travel. It was suppose to be raining and cold this holiday so I took them on my trip - nope it was warm out but I did wear them in the morning and can say they fit great, the buckles give you some added adjustment, they were very warm and not as heavy as I thought - I love them.

Y'know how there's that guy that looks really good from afar and then you get closer...and he still looks okay...and then you date and it's like...he's fine...there's nothing really specifically wrong...but he's just not doin' it for ya? That's these boots. They look great in the picture. They look pretty good on. But something...something just wasn't workin' for me. I really wanted to love them, and they are beautifully rendered and designed and all that but...nope. Oh well. Love is fickle.

I bought these boots out of desperation versus love as I had a last minute trip to subzero temperatures. But after wearing these boots for a solid week - I absolutely love them. They are warm, fit well over wool socks, keep your feet dry. They are easy to get on and off.

I asked for these boots as a Christmas gift and I am so pleased with them so far. They don't feel as clunky on my feet as I thought they might. We are experience -0 temperatures with snow and wind and my feet have stayed warm walking in the snow and getting in and out of the car. I haven't really tried them for outdoor snow activities. Many, many compliments on them. Very happy.

Northern NV winters are cold and often snowy. I walk a couple of miles with my dog every morning and wanted a boot that was comfortable and supportive, and would keep my feet warm. This boot has been great! Super cute and comfy, good grippy sole, supportive and warm. They do run a little large. I ordered a half size down and with heavy socks they are comfortably roomy.

Boots are very cute in person and with the side zip, easy to take on and off. I'm and 8.5-9 and ordered 9 which fit perfect. The do seem a bit narrow but I don't have wide feet so it's just fine. 2 things to know - these boots are not fur lined (only the cuffs) and the lining is not removable. I bought these for after skiing as lacing up my clunky Sorels is a nuisance. These boots are perfect for that and warm too!

Though I have other Merrell boots in an 8.5, for these an 8 was better. The heel slipped a lot in my normal size. Otherwise super cute!

Run a little large and wide. I can wear a 7 had to exchange for 6.5. They are great boots!

Good boots - warm and dry. They are comfortable to walk around in all day. I previously had a different pair of Merrell boots that were a little more stylish in my opinion, but these are cute enough for snow boots. I ordered boots in my typical size and they are big enough to wear thick, warm socks, but not too big that they are uncomfortable if I wear normal socks.

I usually wear 7-7.5 so I ordered both sizes. The 7 feels tight so it has to be the 7.5. These boots are cuter on the feet than by themselves, and they are warm and cushy inside. I love the faux fur. The shape of the toe box is typical of Merrell, round and roomy, but the heel box is a bit too roomy/wide that my heels are moving around too much. I think that's probably why the shaft is rubbing my outer ankle bones so much. Really want to love them, since waterproof winters boots without hideous laces are very hard to find, but they have to go back.

These boots are properly fit for winter wearing, sized to fit a winter sock. They feel warm and comfortable straight out of the box. My only beef is that they look like a boot not a pricey boot and I've sat here obsessing over whether I want to keep them or not, because I don't think they're a great value style wise, though performance wise they feel good. They are "leaner" in person than they look in the photo and that may be some of it....for the cost I want more than a warm ankle boot, which is what these seem to be. Detailing doesn't match the price but I think the performance will. All in all, the best sized winter boot I've found thus far. So many don't have room for decently thick socks, toe wiggle etc that is essential for keeping feet warm.

Super-cute boots, but I had enormous trouble getting my right foot into the boot... and I bought these zip-booties for ease of dressing. So sadly, back they go.

I am enjoying these new Merrell Decora Chant boots very much! I was looking for a nice light weight, waterproof boot with extra grip type sole that was low profile and not as clunky as my Sorel's. This boot was very comfortable for walking all day with good cushion and support. Has comfortable lining for warmth too. Can dress them up or down. These fit comfortably at a 1/2 size larger than my normal boot size.

I bought my wife an older version of these and she loved them to death but it was time for them to be replaced. So I got her this new pair for Christmas. She loves the style and comfort although I will say that the old version had Thinsulate and these are quite a bit thinner. Still, no complaints about cold feet. We live in Colorado, so the weather here may be more mild then in other parts of the States. One word of caution (which is why I am writing this), she normally wears a size 8 and we had to return them for an 8.5. The old Merrells were a size 8 so I thought they would fit the same. When I held the new boots next to the old ones, they physically looked much smaller (most likely due to the newer insulation not being as bulky as the Thinsulate). Anyway, make sure they fit well with a good pair of socks and they should keep your feet plenty warm and stylish. By the way, remember these are waterproof if comparing them to something along the lines of Uggs which are not. You can stomp through the snow with these and your feet will remain dry.

I was in desperate need of warm boots for a trip to Vermont so order these in two sizes, based on reviews I'd read, and the Dewbrook Zip in a size 8. I love these boots! I like that they are taller than the Dewbrook and they have a little pizzaz (if snowboots can have pizzaz!). The 8 (my usual size) was a perfect fit with thick socks so they may run a tad big. I haven't worn them anywhere but around the house yet but I'm happy so far!

I am very happy with these boots. They provide good traction, warmth and they look terrific. Not clumsy like some styles. I ordered half a size up because I plan to wear warm socks. My teenage granddaughter likes them also!

Loved them right out of the box. I'm a realtor in Houston and needed something for those rainy days. They are so comfortable! It feels like I'm walking on 2 little memory foam mattresses. Wore them for 12 hours straight the first day. Got loads of compliments! Not much works with my aching feet, but these were a winner. Wore them again yesterday and it wasn't even raining....just bc they were comfy, just like all my Merrells are.

Awesome. Stylish and comfortable. Good grip; zipper is quality and easy to pull. Waterproof. Warm and nice walking boot - good arch support. Perfect for Chicago winters. I got the gray. I'm an 8.5 and got the 8.5 - tried on with a thick winter sock and the fit is perfect. I wouldn't go up a size - stick to your regular.
